There’s a tendency, even in the body of Christ, to elevate and too highly esteem important people. They are viewed and treated as a superstar. However, as Pastor JD will point out today, Jesus is the star. Everyone else are servants. Don’t idolize fellow believers, and remember who alone is worthy of worship and praise – God!

Non-believers are watching you to see how you get through difficulties and darkness. Do people see hope and joy in you as you experience trouble? Today Pastor JD will encourage you to be ready to answer for the hope you have because of Jesus. Know the word of God and speak it to others in darkness to give joy, encouragement and peace.

Paul implores you, believer, to be wise in action and word toward non-believers. God has given you divine opportunities to share and demonstrate the love and mercy of God to others who don’t know it. Pastor JD will encourage you today to be faithful and take advantage of these opportunities because there may not be much time left.

There are times when your prayers are simply not being answered. It’s hard to see past your need or desire. However, as Pastor JD will explain today, God is infinite, wise and all-knowing. Do you have compassion for others?

Today, Pastor JD talks about what humility and intimacy look like when shared with Christ. We can’t stand before God unless our pride is in check. And how can you begin to know someone’s nature when there has been no intimacy? Jesus wants you to strive to know Him the way that He knows you.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Satan will do everything in his power to keep a Christian out of the word of God and prayer. It’s easy to get busy. He knows that the word of God is how we fill the faith tank in our lives. Without faith it’s impossible to please God. Pastor JD teaches, “When we are Faith-less, He is Faith-full!”

Faith is believing that God can do great things. The Colossian church was not known for their numbers, their building, they were known for their faith. They had enough faith to just believe. Today Pastor JD teaches that we have not, because we ask not. Do you want that kind of faith: a faith that trusts in the one true God to answer in the way he sees fit?
