HighlightsWe reached KP 5 yesterday which was G1 storming and we did see auroras in Minnesota as well as higher latitudes of course due to the elevated solar wind and the co-rotating interaction region.A coronal hole is about to face our Earth we could see additional enhanced geomagnetic activity intermittently.Two M class flares occurred about 40 minutes apart beginning at 5:05 utc today.Complex sunspots will soon turn away from us, this may shift our solar flare potential.We are living in a period of exceptionally high Sun-Earth magnetic connectivity, the highest in at least 25 years. HighlightsThe various views of space weather; catastrophism, space weather instrumentation, defense and preparedness, energy of this planetary shift (sky is falling, sky is ascending) and there is the physiological, emotional and evolutionary.G2 conditions were reached at 21 utc for 3 hours at KP 6 then it dropped to KP 5.5 for 3 hours, and eventually to KP 4.5 had a total of 9 hours of active storming conditions.A twisted knot from the solar wind with a mixture of CME (maybe) produced a co rotating interacting region.Auroras seen in mid latitudes once again.Solar flare activity was down from the previous day but we did have 2 M class flares making it moderate activity overall. Our highest flare was a M4.4 about an hour after G2 storming began certainly making for interesting conditions!Do we have another storm happening right now? HighlightsDid you see the sky from where you were last night?G3 storming was reached yesterday (KP 7) , however, G2 was predicted yet. The KP went from 4-7 which was certainly noticeable at 18 utc. This was from the X flare CME and coronal hole created a complexity to bring those conditions up to G3!Solar wind had a big leap from high 300’s to nearly 730 km/s yesterday.Solar flare activity is now back up to higher activity good size M class flare 6.0 last night from 4300 which did produce a R2 radio-blackout over the sunlit side of the Earth.Full moon also for our Earth.Solar Cycle 25 sunspot number for November are out and we are continuing to drop.Moving back to our regularly scheduled time. HighlightsX class solar flare, X1.9 at from old region 4274 now numbered 4299 2:26 utc today. It did produce a coronal mass ejection but it will likely not hit Earth. And produced a R3 radio blackout over Australia. This region is currently just rotating into view on the Northeast portion of the Sun. This region is still turning to face Earth. With one sunspot player taking up much of the star power with those productions.Solar flare prediction for today has also increased for X and M class flares.Based on the intensity of the ejecta from these flares we could see stronger flare activity by mid week.Solar wind is expected to decrease yet now it is hanging in there and still steadily steaming.Geomagnetic activity is unsettled to active.In 1006 AD, a star exploded so brightly that it was visible during the day and cast shadows at night for weeks. People in China, Japan, the Middle East, Europe, and possibly North America all wrote about the dazzling “new star” that shone for almost three years. It was a Type Ia supernova 7,200 light-years away, and it remains the brightest stellar explosion ever seen in recorded history. Majority of these are from just beyond the western limb and are unnumbered.Solar wind and BZ likely impacted the Schumann Resonance giving us a 36 hour window of emotions to be felt and released for Thanksgiving. Not Earth facing at first glance yet waiting for confirmation.Low solar activity, yet kept things moving with double amount of C class flares then we had for yesterday’s reporting .CME at 21:12 utc yesterday, still under modeling to see if our Earth will be getting any of this.Another possible coronal hole could elevate solar wind and geomagnetic activity on the 23rd and 24th.Aurora blobs are proton auroras, not common, they are indeed rare, appear only during very strong geomagnetic storms. Then we will be back to our regularly scheduled time.These last aurora storms are causing scientists who specialize in space weather to ask questions they didn’t ask previously about measurement tools and how accurate they are versus what we are seeing at face validity.
