A Taylor McCabe 3 to tie it was blocked without a foul call. The men started off hot and led for most of the first half, but a devastating 16-0 Cyclone run to start the second half all but doomed the Hawks from a massive road upset. Iowa did make it tough, coming within 2 points in the final minute, but a missed chance at a turnover, a defensive rebound and then a foul in the final seconds sealed the win for Iowa State.
