This is a good time to explore that we don’t have to be victims of change individually and that being opinionated about change can also make our lives heavier. It reminds me of a Dutch comedian who stated: “If you don’t grow older, you’re dead” pointing at those who make so much fuss about trying to stay young. I shared with participants a personal habit I had developed during the days when Ra illuminated us with his Rave New Year analyses: I would revisit the previous year’s talk to reflect on how the energy had unfolded. Looking forward, the mind can only speculate or imagine how these energetic mechanisms might manifest. However, looking backward allows us to address the facts.We spent about an hour examining the energetic blueprint of 2024 and reflecting on how it played out. What emerged was a sense of global entanglement in regressive adaptation, coupled with a pronounced tendency toward polarization. This is particularly striking given that, in these final years of the Cross of Planning, we are witnessing the gradual unraveling of global structures: deglobalization, the breakdown of socio-economic frameworks, and a retreat from tribal interconnectedness. These movements are part of a larger spiral preparing humanity for a shift in consciousness—one that, as Ra noted, no one will be truly ready for. The mechanics of Human Design teach us that this shift will be shocking, and a defining characteristic of shock is the absence of any prior reference point.Looking ahead to 2025, we find ourselves facing a very different energetic configuration—one that is oriented toward impactful change and stirs strong emotions. Revolutionary nostalgia is palpable, reflected in the slogans of prominent political movements. Meanwhile, society's polarization is set to deepen, with the potential to manifest in heightened anger.Each year’s energetic blueprint reminds us of the importance of learning to witness and disidentify from the emotional frequencies that often run our lives unconsciously. Personally, I’ve observed just how strong this tendency is in my own experience. The neutrino weather of 2025 offers us a unique opportunity to navigate our feelings with authenticity. The mind, with its incredible capacity to bypass emotions, can hinder our ability to access choiceless witnessing consciousness—our inner truth. In 2025, navigating the turbulent emotional waters ahead will require us to awaken more fully on an emotional level. This is exactly what evolution demands of us.Life calls us to awaken to Spirit awareness—true compassion for ourselves and all forms of life around us. From this perspective, 2025 is not just another year; it is a call to action. But this small anecdote is a good opportunity to talk and reflect on the correlation between our Human Design and the environmental educational circumstances that we go through in our upbringing. There is an interesting meeting point between Human Design and therapy that hasn’t been fleshed out enough over the years and is worth paying attention to. In the video, I explore how Picasso’s life and chart provide a fascinating example of how environmental circumstances shape our development. Human Design reveals our innate potential, but much like the growth of an oak tree from an acorn, our external conditions—like upbringing, education, and environmental influences—have a profound effect on who we become. Picasso’s chart shows a strong character fixation formed during his developmental stage, specifically around the root center, which manifested as vengeful and bitter emotional defenses in his relationships and career. This illustrates the power of our conditioning and how it interplays with our energetic blueprint.I argue that there is great potential in combining Human Design and psychotherapy. Human Design offers a deep understanding of our intrinsic energy and potential, while therapy helps us unravel the character defenses and fixations built over time in response to our upbringing. (People.com).Reflector Reflection of the week: “Namaste!”Let’s have a look at the Heart Centre given that most of the week the neutrino weather brings forward “the design of a materialist” through the activation of the channel (21-45). Out of the Heart Centre come three life force channels that are related with the supportive qualities of the Heart. All three are part of the ego-circuit which governs us, particularly in the early stages of our lives. When the ego-circuit functions without the filters of the mind, it is governed by sensitivity and the loving embrace of each other’s uniqueness. It reminds me of the original meaning of the Indian greeting ‘Namaste’: “The sacred in me recognizes the sacred in you.” This is the maximizing aspect of the ego circuit, of love and support: whatever we truly have becomes more by giving it away. Egoism, when filtered through the mind, is all about wanting, having, and possessing, together with a sense of loss if we cannot get what we want, as well as fear of losing what we already have. It turns ‘having’ into poverty and lack, which is then stored in the body. It minimizes. Let’s use this week’s neutrino weather to turn our awareness towards the maximizing qualities of our hearts, we are all in need of it!Want to know more? This week the Cross of Service stands central in the Neutrino Feed. In Human Design, our Incarnation Cross allows us to see what our intrinsic contribution to the totality looks like. Human Design points out in a very detailed way how our existence is not accidental but existential and how we each have a fundamental role to play in the totality. Our ‘Incarnation Cross’ is Human Design’s lingo to point out what kind of cell we are in the larger body of Existence so to speak. We are all unique manifestations of Love in Form but somehow fulfill slightly different functions. The Cross of Service is the expression of Love that is oriented towards being at service of and dedicated to life affirming patterns, patterns that are at service of Fundamental Human Rights. During these times we are all experiencing from close or afar, being at service of Fundamental Human Rights is more important than ever. The energy is oriented towards provoking ‘analysis, assessment and re-evaluation.’ It is the necessary fuel to come in touch with inner stillness and the pathway it offers to Spirit consciousness beyond the wave of emotions. This energy, being available to all of us this week, highlights the importance of taking time to stand in our vulnerability and feel emotions so that we can transcend their wave-like nature and connect with the higher levels of consciousness and freedom. In this video I’m sharing some of the perspectives of Human Design as a cosmology and its view on the design of other forms of life. Reflector reflection of the week: “Metakuye Oyasín” – “We are all related!”A friend of mine suggested me to read “The Courage to be Disliked”, a book that goes around like wildfire and expands in a philosophical way on Adlerian Psychology. In the book, we get introduced to Adler’s perspective on “community” which involves not only the people that surround us in this live but actually all other forms of live around us, including the inanimate. I’m grateful I got introduced to it because it touched my worldview which is always a nice experience.In the video below I’m sharing with you a short perspective on the worldview of Human Design. It is first and foremost a cosmology and a cosmology that introduces us to the energetic matrixes of the many atomic forms we share this world with. It’s a brief introduction into the Bodygraphs of these other beings and how we interrelate with them. A similar worldview as Adler’s view on community is brought forward and as an anthropologist, I enjoy paying homage to ancient tribes such as the Lakotas who were way ahead of us in terms of looking at the world with such awareness. The wheel is turning, we’re moving into the realm of the socio-economic and political dimension of our humanness… things will start becoming more intense!Reflector reflections on the Nodal ConfigurationThis week, I'd like to highlight the current nodal configuration we're experiencing. Nodal configurations can be thought of as the forces that captivate our attention, much like screens do today. It's an easy concept to grasp, as most of us find ourselves glued to our devices. When I was a child, we didn't have a TV at home, but whenever we visited our grandparents and the TV was on, we were mesmerized by it. The nodal configuration operates similarly, pulling our focus toward a particular perspective or way of viewing life.We’re under the 18 South Node – 17 North Node configuration right now. The 17th gate says in its heading “The ancient law that those (thoughts, opinions) who wish to rule must know how to serve.” And the 18th gate says in its heading: “The vigilance and determination to uphold and defend basic and fundamental human rights.” Our attention is being drawn towards opinions on life, mental stances and whether those ways of looking at life, that stance is really in line with the life-supporting and life-affirming ways of going about it. If this is you, comment below and I’ll get you in.26 July - 1 August Neutrino Weather: attention to the Throat centre!This week we find the energies in the Throat centre to project forward and reflect backward before entering the quarter of the Wheel that is concerned with building our socio-economical relationships as humans… Don’t get caught up in Jupiter and wanting things to move forward based on a mental agenda… time to reflect ☺Reflector reflections on the Throat CentreThe Throat Centre can also be a complex area of tension in our body, both physically, and emotionally. It is not uncommon for us to hold tension in our jaw, neck, and shoulders, to grind our teeth or to ‘swallow’ situations when we would rather protest or object. When we are unable to express ourselves freely and honestly, we may experience tension, anxiety, or even physical symptoms like a sore throat. When we hold back our true thoughts and feelings, we may struggle to connect with others, feeling isolated and alone.Physically speaking, we are dealing with a zone of our body that is rather complex. It includes the mouth, lips, tongue, teeth, jaw, part of our nose, ears, the back of our head behind the mouth, neck, throat, cervical segment, the muscles under the ears, and the collarbone. This is a zone where we can hold back, control, lock up emotional issues, block expression, convey mixed messages, and put on a mask. So, developing a healthy relationship with our Throat Centre is an important deconditioning aspect of our experimentation process in Human Design. It is the place in our body where mind and body meet and therefore a place where a lot of control is exerted. When we approach the Throat Centre through the mind, we become preoccupied with trying to plan and control the future rather than being fully present in the moment.“If you’re not expressing yourself according to your type, then you’re not even allowing yourself the opportunity to even begin this process of having your quality attached to your voice.”(Ra Uru Hu, Rave Anatomy I, pg. 31)When we look at the outlets of the Throat Centre in the Wheel, we see that they are all placed within the Quarter of Civilization, which is oriented towards the manifestation of form. It is about creatively expressing ourselves in the physical world. Ultimately, it is our ability, as a species, to create cultures and civilizations. All of the gates of the Throat Centre have a yin/yin foundation and we know how easily and commonly the ‘female’ force is repressed and withheld. This can give us a good understanding of how much of what we express, or stop ourselves from expressing, is subject to paternalistic conditioning forces. To hear more, visit reflectorsreflections.substack.com19-25 July Neutrino Weather: interesting shifts!This week the Nodes of the Moon are shifting to positions that can sidetrack us into judgments and opinions instead of learning to understand the patterns of life in a life-affirming and stimulating way that leads to joy. Human Rights are coming into the spotlight for the months to come… let’s try to uphold and defend them!Reflection of the week: a good week to observe the beliefs we live by.This week, the Sun energizes the energetic outlet in our Throat Centre that allows us to convert the images of the mind, and the ideas, and bring them into linguistic form. It allows us to translate mental imagery into a ‘story’ that can be agreed upon. It is a stimulating aspect of our expressive capacity, a ‘voice’ – whether verbal or not - that conveys a certain emotionality and stimulation. The heading of the hexagram says: “Stability through movement. The perpetuation of continuity through the linking of short-term activity” and refers to the transitory nature of ideas, and how ideas are to be shared in order to stimulate each other, but not something to get stuck into. When we approach the Throat Centre through the mind, we get caught in a mental stance that shifts the focus towards seeking external validation, or attention and distracts us from our individual experience and stance in life. Here we develop mental convictions that shape our perspectives and behavior. These convictions carry the potential to disconnect us from our direct experience of the present moment. They may lead to ideologies that we end up living by. We get distracted into a way of life instead of experiencing life individually. The binary of the mind swings between a collapsed stance, in the face of abstract representations, or becoming overly attached to them. I find the documentary The Social Dilemma a good source of information that allows us to see the mind at play through this energetic outlet. The documentary explains the catastrophic consequences of teenagers standing in a collapsed way, in the face of abstract representations, while others stand more in an inflated way. Both positions have nothing to do with our embrace of awareness and the interconnectedness that results from it. When we can witness our attachment to the ways of experience put forward through this energetic outlet, we come in touch with the phrase of John in the Bible: “Be in the world but not from it.” Our fulfillment does not come from our identification with the ways of experience laid out by the collective. Osho reminds us to engage with the world, and participate in it while maintaining a sense of detachment: “Living in the world but not belonging to the world is renunciation. Running away from the world in fear is not freedom from the world, it is a subtle but very deep bondage. Don’t run from the world; just be aware of yourself. If you try to run away even greater fear will grip you; if you stay aware you will find safety. Venus brings forward the energy to value being true to ourselves in our connections. Reflection of the week on the Channel of the AlphaWe are imbued with an energetic force to organize ourselves socio-economically. This energetic wiring of us is laid down in this Channel of the Alpha. Because of our mental stance in life, it gave rise to “politics.”Our approach to this lifeforce through the mind gives rise to “politics” in interaction with each other. The “politics” are obviously first and foremost internal, they reflect our defense mechanisms and our egoic protections: introjections, projections, confluence, retroflections, etc. They are all very well described in the world of psychotherapy.So instead of interacting based on our alignment with ourselves, we fall into the game of “politics” which is preoccupied with worldly desires such as power, money, and fame and distracts us from recognizing and appreciating our inner treasures. Running after power, we forget all about the power of the Pattern of Life of which we are all part and which is reflected in our Bodygraph. When we approach the Coding with Awareness, though, we come to a Design that says “For ‘good’ or ‘bad’ the design of leadership.” To me, this says that when we are true to ourselves and project ourselves in interaction according to our own authority and intrinsic intelligence, ‘good’ or ‘bad’ are of no intrinsic value. They belong to the realm of the mind. What matters is the expression of our authenticity and the trust that it will move us forward in Love. Osho reminds us: “You have become too occupied with the non-essential: the money, the politics, the respectability. You have become too concerned with others’ opinions about you, what they are saying about you. You are so afraid of their opinions, and you start living according to their opinions. You always follow in line with the mediocre, the stupid, the crowd. Remember, you are not here to follow the crowd. You are here to realize who you are. Reflection of the week: the Root centre is the base of everything in life.In the Root Centre, energy takes a form that has a double nature: it is a motor energy as well as a pressure, a pumping station, distributing energy throughout our system. The Root Centre is oriented towards anchoring in life, the preservation of our existence, and the many pressures that accompany life in biological form as well as our deep need to bond emotionally in order to survive. Here, we find a tremendous power fuelling our vitality, our existential security, our interconnected, emotional nature…in fact, all the energetic potential that makes us human. In other words, all of the resources of what it means to be ‘us’ can be found in the Root Centre. It is the centre that governs the physical body, the lust for life, and the basic drive to survive. The Root Centre gives a sense of stability and grounding in our body which is always in the present moment. Its pressurizing nature also provides us with the capacity of a ‘fight or flight’ response, thanks to its association with our adrenal glands. This center’s anchoring quality allows us to cultivate a greater sense of calm, stability, joy, presence, and resilience in the face of the pressures of life, stress, and difficult emotions. Thanks to it, we can develop greater resilience and well-being. Without this kind of solid anchoring, access to our inherent intelligence – our Strategy & Inner Authority – is seriously challenged. Our first priority, in terms of awareness, is anchoring. It is where our vitality originates. We need to be deeply ‘into’ our bodies, having awareness of it as an organism, experiencing it through our feelings, and establishing a connection between our body and the earth. Our legs, hips, pelvic floor, genitals, anus, and feet are offering us this grounding. The function of the Root Centre as a way of accessing our body’s intelligence is deeply related to the theme of pressure. Whenever we are dealing with a pressure center, we are also facing the potential for repression and in the Root Centre, this is a profound issue. Most of us, in our ‘civilized’ world, live with repressed energy in the Root Centre, which makes accessing our body intelligence and experimenting with our design challenging. Let’s try to tap into it!Reflector’s Reflection: the intelligence of our bodies is the root of all aware action.This week Mars stands in gate 2 and this energetic outlet of the G Centre is the seat of what Ra called ‘the Driver’, our Higher Self. It is the ‘feminine’ principle, the form principle, that grounds and shapes the ‘masculine’ principle of light and energy. It is the root, the source of action, with all our actions being rooted in the body’s intelligence. The hexagram suggests a learning process related to understanding that every action arises from being receptive to the form. It encourages us to cultivate sensitivity to beauty and naturalness, to trust deeply in the inherent intelligence of the form and to surrender to the uncertainty of where life might lead us. When we approach the G Centre mentally, it makes us lose our connection to Being and, as a result, we feel like independent operatives, separate from the interconnectedness of everything and everyone. The mind, driven by the agenda of our self-concept, gets caught in a disempowered stance, longing for things to move faster, in a direction of its own making. It resists receptivity to life’s intelligence that is anchored in our bodies. Human Design is an information field at the service of this receptivity as the root of action. It offers information to help individuals learn to surrender to the intelligence of their unique forms, allowing consciousness to flourish. By aligning with our inherent design, we can move away from mental resistance and embrace the natural flow of life. When we learn to observe the mind here, we come to the Druid saying to which Ra often referred: “Stop doing and the doing gets done.” This quote emphasizes the importance of surrendering to the intelligence of our bodies. Instead of being mentally driven towards constant action and hurrying through life, there is a recognition that life unfolds according to its own time, requiring a patient and receptive approach. Life is all about ‘wait and see’, as Ra used to say, and it resumes the essence of this energetic outlet in the G Centre. Talking about his own experience of life, Osho emphasizes that events in life naturally unfold according to our own nature and are never a matter of choice, which aligns completely with the perspective Human Design offers us: “I have never repented for a single thing; whatsoever has happened in my life had to happen. It was not a question of my choice; I allowed my nature to have its way. I have just been floating with the river – not even swimming. In essence, talent is learning to finetune our potential for awareness!Reflector Reflection: a closer look at the 48th gate of depthThe nodal configuration of these present times all the way till July 20th carries the 48th gate in the South Node. It brings forward a perspective that highlights standing more grounded in our individual awareness. If we don’t understand that life is an opportunity for awareness, it is so easy to be blinded about all being part of the same human family. The 48th gate holds incredible keys for us as a species, so let’s reflect on some of its qualities. It is called “The Well” and is called the Gate of Depth. Its heading says: “The necessary and qualitative foundation that is a prerequisite to establishing the common good.”This energetic outlet of the Splenic Centre imbues our existential intelligence with the depth necessary to bring forward our alignment with patterns that are life-affirming and consciousness-affirming. Not only are we imbued with a potential to recognize how we can adjust to such patterns. We are also imbued with the depth to bring forward the solutions and our adaptation to them. Ultimately, the 18th Gate is here to correct what impedes basic and fundamental human rights. The 48th Gate is here to bring the depth of that pattern forward, for the benefit of all. A simple example would be the recognition of our human interaction with certain bacteria through the 18th gate and the adoption of hygiene policies thanks to the 48th gate. This ‘necessary’ foundation points to the scientific and material aspect of the pattern. The ‘qualitative’ foundation points inwards, emphasizing awareness and the Science of the Inner. In order to benefit our awareness, we must bring forward collective patterns that secure the material requirements of our life spark, as well as patterns that bring forward our potential for awareness, the qualitative aspect of patterns. Ra often referred to this energetic outlet as the Gate of ‘Black Magic.’ Black magic refers to the fact that the understanding of patterns of Existence comes together with a potential for awareness (magic). If we do not reveal the pattern that prevents a person from accessing consciousness, we can be dealing with a form of manipulation. That is why Ra was always insistent on guiding everybody through the Bodygraph when introducing them to Human Design because it shows the pattern. Those who do not do so, he ironically referred to as “people doing black magic with white hats on” meaning that they are using the understanding of life’s patterns while keeping somebody in the dark, in a certain illusion. The use of algorithms that combine the understanding of psychology and technology in order to manipulate people can also be seen as a form of ‘black magic’ coming forward with a white hat.We can also see that sometimes the ‘qualitative foundation’ of certain patterns has been explored more deeply than the ‘necessary foundation’ of them. A simple example would be the use of entheogens. Many ancient tribes still have access to patterns of life that hold incredible pieces of awareness, because they explored this understanding deeper than our Western culture. Our Western culture considers these practices occult because our Western conditioning has been oriented to the outside, to the empirical aspect of life’s patterns. But there are many places around the world where Inner Sciences, focusing on the ‘qualitative foundation’ of patterns, have been explored. Many monasteries in Tibet, or ritual practices in tribes, have faced the ignorant judgment and outrageous destruction brought about by cultures that focus solely on outer sciences. The ones bringing forward the darkness are those who do not understand the patterns, that’s the irony of it. Academic science is hesitantly approaching the influence of certain entheogens on our brain and awareness, while ancient cultures developed medicine based on their qualitative understanding of these patterns. There is no ‘black magic’ as commonly understood. There is just a lot of ignorance about the incredible awareness potential certain patterns of life hold. We cannot bring forward the understanding of the potential of our awareness if we solely focus on the empirical side of patterns. This hexagram clearly states that there is both a necessary

Daring to stand and speak up but learning to be caring and respectful of the other are on the agenda this week!Some reflections on the 12th gate in our Throat CentreThis week the 12th gate in the Throat centre stands central in the neutrino imprinting and finds its emotional fuel through Saturn in the 22nd gate of grace/disgrace. The 12th gate in our Throat Centre is a voice that says, ‘I act’ and here we can manifest action when we’re in the mood for it. It is an expression that moves into and away from caution. This is the place in the Throat that allows us to express ourselves with Spirit, which means living and acting in alignment with the consciousness of the interconnectedness of all life. Rather than being caught in an illusion of separateness, we can live as individuals connected to the greater whole. This outlet in our Throat is deeply connected to our larynx and vocal capacities and allows us to act and express ourselves guided by our Spirit. Arts, poetry, beauty, grace, laughter, tears…anything that emotes and moves our being can find an expression here. To act with awareness, a quality of restraint or caution is required, so that we can remain a witness to our own nature. This quality can serve as a reminder to stay aware and present in the moment.However, when we are caught in the mind, the qualities of caution and abandonment become distorted and are no longer oriented toward our interconnectedness with all life. Instead, they become focused on our self-concept, which is limited by our individual perspective, unaware of the greater whole, and subject to emotional volatility. The mind then turns our potential for expressing Spirit consciousness into an expression of our vanity, whereby we become focused on how we are perceived by others, rather than expressing ourselves authentically. Primarily it talks about our bodies, about our money in terms of the physical form that we have as a housing for our consciousness. When we approach the coding mentally it can easily distort into an expression of social hierarchy based on dominance and control.Through the mind, we tend to overlook the wealth we all possess in the form of our bodies, which houses an incredible potential for awareness. True richness cannot be attained through external achievements and power dynamics. The normal worldly game of money is one of winners and losers, of dominance and subservience, and prevents us from exploring the inner dimensions that lead to true richness and fulfillment. I like to remind myself of the story of Alexandre the Great who, while being thirsty in the desert, would willingly trade his vast empire for a simple glass of water. When we approach the Coding with Awareness it allows us to transcend a purely transactional or materialistic mindset. A deeper fulfillment can be found when actions are driven by genuine care and connection. In his book, Sanar el Corazon, Ketan Raventós Klein, mentions the term ‘Ubuntu’ which in my view is a great name for this life force. Ubuntu points to the economics of love and true contribution, in which materialism is understood as giving something that we already intrinsically possess, and which multiplies when we give or share it with others. “In Africa they have a beautiful word: ubuntu. One of its meanings is that we realize ourselves through our contribution to society. But that contribution isn’t something that society can decide for you neither can it be reduced to a mere economic exchange. It has to be an experience that nurtures your heart, that has meaning to you, a value and satisfaction that go way beyond a mere economic contribution.” (Ketan Raventós Klein, Sanar el Corazón, pag. 56) Reflector's Reflections with Dirk Nellens is a reader-supported publication. This post is public so feel free to share it.Reflection of the week: “The magic sits in the music!”One of the exercises that has amused me a lot over the years with living with Human Design is to present it to others. I always ask people who reach out to me “What is Human Design to you?” They have usually read or heard about it and formed an opinion so I’m curious to hear it. A lot of people think it is a system that says something about our personality, others think it is some kind of manual for living, etc., etc.I’ve seen myself engaged in explaining it over the years as my own understanding and experience of it changed. I look at it as a cosmology, as an anthropological lens, as a formula, as an energetic matrix, as energetic architecture, as a GPS for awareness, etc. I find it amusing because in essence I’m only trying to bring it over so that it may eventually serve the other the way it has served me over all these years. Transmission is an art, we know that!One of my favorite ways of explaining Human Design has been to present it like music notations. All manifestations of life are unique frequencies, and unique symphonies of music, and Human Design is just like music notations. It allows us to write down the music and we’re just using a slightly different lingo then “Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol…”I like this perspective because it reminds me of how idiotic it is to get obsessed with the music notations instead of picking up the instrument and playing the music. We can’t reduce the Fifth of Beethoven to a partition and it’s definitely not because we know the partition that we can play it. The magic sits in the music, let’s keep that in mind above all and honor that process and those that are of assistance while we learn to play!It’s Clint Eastwood’s birthday!

I often catch myself and also see others fall into the trap of using Human Design information to justify developmental defensive stances in life. Its heading says: “The justified and necessary use of power in overcoming deliberate and persistent interference.”The word ‘power’ in the overall description of the hexagram is not a referral to a distorted mental dynamic but a reference to the power coming out of our heart at service of our individuality. It is the strength to stand up for our needs, hence its reference to ‘hunting.’It is also worth noting that this kind of strength is not here to overcome short-term interference that is unintentional and non-persistent.The hexagram shows us that using power in a way that is justified and necessary requires a long learning process. This learning points towards seeing that force can be used only as a last resort, perceiving the legitimacy of it when the interference is flagrant and persistent. When we approach the Coding Mentally…Here, the mind starts proving and distorting the inherent power of our individuality. It does so through over or under accentuating control resulting in the dominant and subservient characteristic of a mental approach of the Ego Circuit. The social dynamics that result out of such a mental attitude clearly end up creating hierarchical, dog-eat-dog, power structures.When we approach the Coding with Awareness…When we witness the mind’s controlling tendencies, we come to see that within our individuality sits a fire to stand up for ourselves, for our dignity. It is a fierceness to be respected that is intrinsic to our authenticity. Here are some words of Osho describing this power of our individuality: “Have you watched it, that sometimes you come across a person who may not have anything visible, but still, you feel a tremendous energy surrounding him? His impact is almost magnetic, mesmeric. He looks into your eyes and you cannot look into his eyes – a great power. It is not the power of things; he may not have any. He may be just a beggar on the road. It is not the power that comes through politics. He may not be a prime minister or a president because that power is bogus, it belongs to the chair, not to the man.” (Osho, The Beloved Vol.1 Ch5)These are times to stand up for our innate dignity as individuals!Reflector's Reflections with Dirk Nellens is a reader-supported publication.
