Additionally, hunters need to be aware that an area is considered baited for 10 days following the removal of all salt, grain or other feed. Migratory game birds may be hunted in agricultural areas where grain has been distributed as the result of normal agricultural operations. Mountain Fishing & NEW Bass Fly-Tying Class!

Segment 1: August 3rd, 2024 With water temps hovering in the mid-to-upper 80s on our area lakes, the Carolina Outdoors checks in with Elijah Saint Blanchard to see how the fishing is during this season, as well as information on an upcoming fly-tying class. Noting that even farther up into the high country, the mountains can have a 10 degrees difference, the common understanding is that those temps still might be too hot for trout. However, let’s jump over to Jesse Brown’s Outdoors’ Lead Fly-Fishing Guide and Instructor for a chat about the specific quality of fishing for trout in the mountains. Additionally, Elijah discusses the upcoming Bass Fly Tying Event on August 7th (6-8PM), what information and flies will be covered during the class, and what attendees can expect to learn! Make sure to go ahead and sign up for the class (CLICK HERE NOW), as only limited space remains.
