Heart Expansion, HerbRally + The Art of Frugal Nutrition with Mason Hutchison

Today's episode is the full interview I did with Heather Sanderson on the Majestic Wisdom Podcast. Thank you so much Heather for letting HerbRally publish the audio here! Everyone, please search "Majestic Wisdom Podcast" in your podcast player of choice and give them a subscribe. EPISODE DESCRIPTION In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with Mason Hutchison, founder and owner of HerbRally, a never-ending online offering and ecosystem that connects people with plants (and with plant people) both virtually and in body. Mason shares his journey of where HerbRally came from, what it is, what it means to him, and how both it, and he, continue to evolve through this offering. He also talks about a new creation, The Art of Frugal Nutrition, an ever-expanding class series that has been in his heart for some time (and touches on Dumpster Diving with Guisepi Spadafora too). In this episode, you'll hear more about these concepts, and Mason's thoughts and approach to what he brings to the world, and to life. Preface | The Botanical Green Book with Derek Haynes

Derek Haynes AKA The Chocolate Botanist introduces us to his new project, "The Botanical Green Book". This new monthly video series with Derek is inspired by the Green Book, and he's going to take us around the plant community introducing us to black botanists, horticulturists, herbalists and plant people. CLASS | Ending Emotional Eating with Natasha Clarke

Ending Emotional EatingSunday, January 30, 20229:30AM to 11:30AM (PST)VIRTUAL LEARN MORE AND REGISTER Join this richly packed workshop to shift the way you think about food, your body and your energy. Many of us, feeling the overwhelm of the past year, have found ourselves looking for comfort and pleasure in food, perhaps more than usual. We all eat emotionally - this is such a normal and human thing! However, if you feel like your habits around eating are weighing you down rather than nourishing you, and you want a more satisfying relationship with food, with less guilt, this is the workshop for you. Designed to get to the root of stress eating and unwanted emotional eating, the two-hour workshop will be a forum for the sharing of herbs, techniques and 'bio-hacks' that are the backbone of powerful, lasting transformation. As well as providing the tools to empower you to change your habits, the session will include interactive exercises and journal prompts. Natasha Clarke is a traditional western herbalist and regular Kaylo practitioner and contributor. She uses the myriad of fantastic local plants and trees in her herbal practice on Camano Island, Washington State, and teaches around the US, connecting the wisdom of the land into people's hearts with the use of medicinal herbs and earth centric practices. Anna Matriotti is a clinical herbalist, nutritional therapy practitioner and eating psychology coach. She weaves her passion for herbs, food and functional anatomy into a warm and grounded approach to well-being and health. COURSE: Plant Spirit Apprenticeship

Plant Spirit Apprenticeship - Winter/Spring 2022 "A Council of the Forest Guardians" LEARN MORE AND REGISTER The Winter/Spring 2022 Apprenticeship will be centered on forests. Who are the forest guardians? What might we learn about forest dwellers and the mystery of forest medicine? In this year's work, the lines between tree/plant spirit and land spirit will start to blur. The plants are calling out to us, to come to know them, to accept their friendship and unique medicine for our times. Will you come to apprentice to them? Will you sit and listen to them? This offering is BIG. It is immersive. It is for those select few that are ready. Relationships with plant spirit are those that are held dear, and have taken significant amounts of time to develop and are rarely written about in-depth. People who do this work tend to be out of the spotlight, in remote places, in deep relationship with the land. You may be able to study with them, but they cannot reveal the deep secrets of the plant. You must study with the plant for them to be revealed to you. This is initiatory work that few have done. This is an experiential knowing, that is so far beyond our human vocabulary, it cannot be communicated properly to someone who hasn't apprenticed with the plant themselves. It is a deep knowing of the energy and spirit of this plant being. Many plants demand your attention, intention and respect to reveal the deepest part of themselves and their relationships. They are really no different than we are right? We hold our deep knowings dear too. Revealed only to those we know and trust. There is an etiquette to working with plant spirit. Each plant is very different to work with and this work requires trusted guides. There will be several guides we work with in developing relationship. Why work with plant spirit? This is not the same as working with plant medicine, constituent medicine. Working with teas and tinctures for health is usually very far removed from working with plant spirit. You are using a plant, not working with a plant. When the plants know and trust you, they will do incredible things. One plant will help you to move through a place unnoticed, another helps you find your way home. One offers protection from certain difficult spirits, another plant reveals what is hidden. Plants that can open up our senses and psyche, while we are in relationship with them, can do incredible healing work. This relational work is not about ingesting plants/trees, it requires something more of us. LEARN MORE AND REGISTER Thank you for listening! HerbRally
