It’s funny, you get divorced, and you still have to spend the next 18 years raising your child/children together. You couldn’t get along and figure out this marriage thing and now you’re expected to co-parent.
Some people do the work and start working through their own feelings of anger or sadness while others stay stuck in those places their entire life.
The good news is you get to choose who you want to be, but I will tell you it’s not a walk in the park. To be the person that really moves on (and I don’t just mean finds a new partner) I mean move on emotionally and energetically from your ex, you have to do the work.
