God Wants To Talk To You

Today while doing my Rosary online I realized that my favorite Rosary You Tube Channel had just made all their videos shorter. Why did they do this? My guess is the shorter the videos the more clicks they get. So I found a bunch of Verses from the Gospels that show the priority that Jesus put on his daily prayer. Also many verses from the both the old and new testaments about praying and we discuss this.

Today Michael gets to explain Easter and Jesus to someone who is completely unaware of him. We also read some of the compelling evidence that St. Paul wrote to the Church in Corinth about the solid evidence that Jesus the crucifixion and the resurrection were all real.

Today we talk about the Resurrection! We go over the difference in the story between all four Gospels. The Lord has truly risen.

Today we read about the Last Supper from Luke Chapter 22

Today we read from old and New Testament Scripture to draw parallels between the Ark of the Covenant and the Virgin Mary as the fulfillment or completion of the Ark of the Covenant. A Topic that is truly fascinating and yet controversial to many who are believers.

Today after returning from a Weekend Church retreat, we talk about the true meaning of Church. Then read many Bible verses about the community that makes up "Church" and the fellowship of Christ.

Today we read from Exodus about the Passover and from Matthew about the Passover Celebration with Jesus and the 12 Apostles that turned in to the Last Super and the last Passover as in ushered in the New Covenant.

Today we read John Chapter 9 and hear from Jesus about how some suffering comes to glorify God and Not as a Punishment for sin. Jesus heals a blind man on the sabbath and when the Pharisees object he points out that they truly are the blind ones.

Today we do a little research on the Crucifixion. We also find out why we call such a somber day "Good Friday" Then we read from the Gospel of Luke about his version of events and that first Good Friday which we think was April 3rd 33AD.

Today we go back to Matthew Chapter 12 and talk about the religious leaders of Jesus's time as they ask him to show them a sign from him. He tells them the only sign they will get is from him coming back after spending three days inside the earth. We know what this means but they did not. He also goes on to tell the people that his Brothers, Sisters and Mother are any of us that do the will of his father in heaven.

Today we read from Matthew 27 about the final moments of Jesus Life as he hung on the cross. Being Mocked, Spit on, laughed at and how just before he died he cried out from Psalm 22. Was he confirming who he was by the fulfillment of that scripture or was he crying out for his Father who had to turn away from him in his final moments because of ALL the Sin he was carrying ? Sin not committed by him but by US!

Today we read from Matthew Chapter 12 about the logic of the Pharisees that Jesus was casting out demons under the power of the Devil. Jesus lets them know how wrong they are and how they are speaking against the Holy Spirit which is a sin that will not be forgiven.

After Michael got the very Unwelcome Matt put our for him at Church this week, it seemed like the perfect time to do a Podcast and being kind to strangers, people at work, Church, or our community. We go over old and New Testament scripture where we are told by both God and Jesus to be kind to strangers.

Today We read from Matthew Chapter 7 and talk about a small part of the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus tells us to Ask, Seek, Knock. It is one of the most parental loving things written about God in the entire Bible and is told to us by Jesus himself.

Today we kick off the season of Lent with one of the Biggest "Bad Guys" in History, Pontius Pilate. But did he know who Jesus was? Did he think Jesus was the Messiah? Why did he try so hard to releases him?

Today we talk about a reading from the book of Sirach which is not in all bibles, but is found in Catholic and Orthodox Bibles. Where it talks about the amazing amount of free will given to us by God to choose Life and Death. Then we get in to a teaching of Jesus where we are taught that the old law still stands and Jesus instructs us to live to an even higher standard than the old teachings.

Today we talk a little bit about St. Valentine and then go over many of the examples of the Complete, Whole, Undeserving love we receive from God. In particular 1st John Chapter 4

Today we read from Matthew Chapter 6 1-18 and discuss the season of Lent. The 40 days, why it Easter Floats around, Why we give things up for lent, or ideas of things to do during lent that will bring you closer to God.

Charged by the Holy Spirit we have a quick reading from James Chapter 1 then we go back to John Chapter 10 and talk about Jesus being the Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep.

Today we bounce around the Bible with examples of people who did the right thing even when it could cost them dearly, also the flip side when people in the Bible did the wrong thing because it was much easier to do.

Today we talk about the story from Genesis Chapter 19 of the of Sodom and Gommorrah. The only righteous people in town are allowed to leave before God destroys it and one of them is lost when she looks back while they are fleeing. many teachable lessons in this story that we talk about.

Today we go over a reading from the Book of Isaiah that Jesus fulfills and talks about in the New Testament Book of Matthew.

Today we read from Mark Chapter 10 where he tells the story of James and John asking Jesus if he will allow them to sit at his right and left hands when he comes in to his glory. This creates anger from the other disciples and shows how all of them despite being with Jesus day and night were not grasping the Big Picture. It also shows how the disciples and us often look for the glory and recognition rather than the humility of serving others for no recognition.

Today we go over the teachings in John Chapter 6 where Jesus tries to explain to the crowd he is the "Bread of Life". Then he loses many followers by telling the people they need to eat of his flesh and drink of his blood to have eternal life.

Today we talk about Pre Selection and how ALL that have been saved and will be saved were pre determined before the beginning of time. Is this Fair? What does this mean? Why do we still go out and Evangelize ? How do you save yourself? We ill hit multiple Bibe Verses that discuss all of this.

Today we read about a Servant in ancient scripture and discuss who we think it is. Who others think it is and how the teachings of this servant can effect how we treat others and how we find comfort after we feel mistreated.

How many times have you heard "Why do Bad things happen to Good People?" Today we read from Romans 5:3 about Rejoicing in our suffering. We also hear a bunch of other Bible verses that remind us WE WILL ALL SUFFER! We Will All have tribulation and what we do with it is very important.

Have you ever felt intimidated or embarrassed at the amount of money you put in the collection plate at church? Today we hear from the words of Jesus in Mark Chapter 12 where he talks about a widow that only puts a couple of cents in the collection plate.

Today we go over tons of Old Testament Prophecy that Pointed to Jesus and explain the Odds of just 8 of the Messianic Prophecy's being true. It is a mathematical confirmation the Jesus was the Messiah!

As we get ready to head in to the New Year in a couple of days , it's a great time to get some tips on how to conduct our selves from St. Paul as written in Colossians Chapter 3.

Today we pick up where we left off in the last Podcast with the telling of the Christmas story and how God Loves us with a terrible story of Innocent children being slaughtered because King Herod was looking to eliminate the threat to his Power.

Today we tell the Christmas Story as Told in the Book of Matthew and Luke. The lesson is... God Loves Us!

Today we read From Luke Chapter 7 V 24 to 28 talking about Jesus asking a crowd if they went out to the desert to see a reed blowing in the wind and what exactly did that mean.

Today we read from John Chapter 1 V 1-35 Telling us who exactly Jesus is and who exactly John the Baptist was and who sent both of them.

Today we talk about the Book of Life, Or the Lambs book of life from the Book of Revelation. Michael thinks we are not as excited, humbled, and grateful enough that our names are in that book.

Today we read from the Book Of Luke Chapter 24:13-35 The Road to Emmaus. In Advent we are celebrating the birth of Jesus and getting ready for the return of Jesus. As some of his followers walked on the road to Emmaus they encountered Jesus and did not know it. When they figured it out , he was gone. We talk about the same thing can happen to us.

Today we read from Romans 13 where Paul instructs us to be prepared for the sudden return of Christ and we break down the Armor of God that can keep us strong on our path.

Today we break down Advent, also the four candles of the Advent Wreath and do a reading for each candle.

Today we read from Ephesians Chapter 5 and we talk about doing the right things with the Precious time the lord has given us. Doing what we have grown to know is right as we grow and mature in our faith journey. Also what happens when Michael reflects on feeling sorry for his Priest after a half empty church service.

After a strange Night where Michael felt under spiritual attack, We decided it was a great time to another show. Today we read from many different places in the New Testament about using your gifts to serve the lord and how your gift no matter how small you think it is, is a wonderful gift to God when you use it to serve him.
