US-Iran negotiations continue, but there is still ground to cover for an
agreement. A weekend ceasefire could trigger a sharp correction in oil,
supporting equities. Oil edges higher today, while gold surrenders the last
two days’ gains. Hawkish Fedspeak and another weak US auction today
could further dent risk appetite.
