You may not know it but movies and television like Kill Bill, 13 Assassins, and The Professional, The Mandalorian and The Last of Us all owe Lone Wolf and Cub a great debt of gratitude even if Charlie and Nate wrongly dislike it. Thankfully the cultured stylings of Troy and Pete were able to team up with the Reviewing History Podcast's Brian Ruppert to set them straight. We talk about the Edo Period of Japanese history and examine the classic samurai tale and it's relationships to modern cinema.
