Chris Parker is the Chief Entertainment Officer for the hit YouTube channel, Retired Working For You.

With over 160K subscribers, Chris Parker has been dedicated to providing fun and informative videos from Thailand. His show, Retired Working For You is all about bringing viewers closer to Thailand through creative and exciting videos that highlight the various experiences of travel and lifestyle.

Chris was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada where he lived a typical boy’s life- meeting friends after school, and riding bikes in the parks was all part of a normal day. In 1994 at the age of 22, Chris moved to Seoul, South Korea where he worked as an English teacher. His love for Asia had been sown throughout this journey, but life had some work for him still to do back home, Chris spent the next 20 years working in the film industry.

In this episode of Fruiting Body Podcast, we get to know the man behind and in front of the cameras. Chris talks about the reasons he started his YouTube channel, the ins and outs of creating weekly videos and what it’s like to live a nomadic lifestyle with his family.
