The One who is the promise-maker is also the promise-keeper. No matter what you go through He is your rescuer. We tend to have vague dreams because we fear disappointment, but God wants us to get specific with our dreams. Dreaming with specificity, is trusting God to be faithful.

God doesn't invade our lives, He comes by invitation. This past Sunday, guest Pastor Phil Pringle leader and founder of the C3 Movement preached a powerful message on making room for God in this Christmas season. Make Jesus your one thing that you pursue. He's not a threat to your dreams.

The reason we can live without fear is because God is with us. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message of faith from the perspective of Mary from Luke 1. From Mary's faith we we see that it's the power of the Holy Spirit that enables us to carry Jesus, not more of our effort. Whatever we are facing, let's place our expectation on something He promises to do. His word will not fail us.

As we end this year as team C3 let's look to the water, to the source in Jesus Christ and dig a new well. Don't stop digging, there is living water below the dirt and in every place you dig a well the world around it will be blessed. In 2019, wherever it takes you dig another well. Jesus is your source. He is your living water.

Hope is not optimism, but a promise. God desires to take us from hopelessness and despair to joy. This past Sunday, Pastor Luis Guerrero preached a message kicking off our Advent series on HOPE. Our hope is dependent on the person of Jesus. When our hope is based on something other than Jesus, it becomes unreliable. When we look to Jesus as our hope we can look back and see His faithfulness in our past and trust that He has secured our future.

When you see God how He wants to be seen, you will see yourself how He sees you and that will change everything about your life. This past Sunday, guest speaker Dan Lian preached a powerful message on the love of our Father. Since the beginning of time God has been desperately desirous of showing us who He is and our identity as His children. We become children of God when we rest in His love and receive His grace.

The good news of the gospel is that The Holy Spirit doesnt leave, but He's here to stay. This past Sunday, Pastor Georgie Kelsey preached a powerful message on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is life-giving spirit. There's so much joy and peace He wants to pour into us as we keep in step with Him.

When Jesus saw the need, He didn't go numb. This VISION SUNDAY, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on generosity out of Matthew 14. When we follow Jesus's example we step out in compassion, we are moved to lead in generosity to meet the needs around us. When we join together in generosity we can do so much. We will be the hands and feet of Jesus for such a time as this. Today is the day of faith.

We are all called to run after the one just as Jesus ran after us. When our hearts break for the one, we align our hearts with heaven, we see like Jesus sees and build a legacy beyond ourselves. What are we building our life on? What truly builds a legacy? We can never create a legacy unless we attach to that which is eternal, unless we center our lives on Jesus and His word. God is worthy to be praised whether we feel it or not. Our soul's satisfaction is in praising God. There will be days of storms, but through it all, God is worthy to be praised. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the art of Self Talk. How do you change your self-talk? How do you change your inner dialogue? You obey God even when it's not convenient. If you want to change the emotional position of your soul, you need to change an inward posture of your heart towards the Lord.

Just because you're in a storm now it doesn't mean you're in the storm forever. The cave seasons, the seasons of trials, aren't meant to break you but to build you. Don't waste your cave. God loves you so much that He's not going to let you walk through your trial alone. This past Sunday, guest preacher Paul Scanlon, global communicator for over 30 years growing and empowering people in churches worldwide, preached a message on God's heart for us to accept others before changing them just as Christ has done for us. The way God gets people to change is this: He overwhelms them with acceptance until they start volunteering to change. They admit they are wrong first. They are the first to apologize, the first to forgive. We are secure in Christ. We have the security in Christ, worth and value in Him. God has not put our value up for grabs.

It doesn't matter what we do, He's always going to be devoted to us. We will never regret devotion for the sake of God and people and we can't let fear stop us from being devoted to people. This is our greatest call as believers to love one another and be devoted to them.

Are your words optimistic? Do they bring out life in others? If you were to do an audit of your daily words, what would it look like? These questions help us see the power God has given us in our words to live out His calling to love one another.

When we feel we have lost our edge, we go back to the beginning—back to our personal history with God to be reminded of our first love for Him. Jesus has done it all—all striving is finished. The hard work is finished. The leading in our own understanding is finished. He has done it all on the cross.

The world will know us by our love and when we look to the needs of others and meet those needs, those around us will take note. The church is the answer, the hope of the world. The heart of the great commission in our lives to go and teach the gospel to the world, being disciple-makers in all areas of our lives. The reason Jesus said to go was because He was going, He was leaving the future of the world to the church so we might live out His life through us. The world is waiting for us to give the right example to imitate and God wants us to live on adventure with Him so our lives can show the freedom He has given us.

The Great Commission calls us to make disciples by immersing people in the identity, love and relationship of the Trinity. For all eternity, there's been a love relationship between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and we're invited into that love! This Sunday in our DISCIPLE series, Pastor Filmore preached on being immersed—how through being baptized in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we are named differently, loved deeply and welcomed into a community that reflects the image of God.

The greatest power is love. Love is what defeated the grave and our sin. This is the power that Jesus has given to us and has commissioned us with to go into the world to share. The commission invites us to step into an authentic Christianity, a disciple-making life that we can only step into with His power.

Every single human is being discipled. Jesus hardwired us to look for someone to teach us how to live, but the question is who are we following right now? Are we willing to be discipled by Jesus? This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the great commission from Matthew 28. We have a God who comes close to us—the game-changing thing about Jesus is His proximity. Jesus leads us to intimacy not distance, so if we're intimate with Jesus, then we'll learn to be be the greatest Disciple-makers.
