How to choose a good travel partner & what to do if they suck
This is what the entire premise of White Lotus is based on, isn’t it? When vacations go awry? And it is all because of our little quirks thrown in with different cultures, the need to let our hair down, trying new things while being surrounded with other people from different backgrounds. It can make for quite the drama. But we don’t want that drama seeping into real life vacations, do we?In this episode I talk about my experience with bad travel partners and perhaps, at times, being one myself. Lessons learned and how to overcome while you’re already on the road.Save Money & Earn Honey Gold PointsInstagram - MurissaMauriceEats and FoodietowncaFind articles, itineraries and videos at Foodietown.caVideo & Article Kelowna Food Truck SceneFrance Travel Articles:Visiting Veuve Clicquot at 23Subscribe to my Substack Newsletter This is a public episode. Podcast: Growing up in Canada's Little Russia
As a kid my family made the move from Prince George to Grand Forks in British Columbia, Canada. Normally, a move to any small community would be a shock to a 13 yr old. But this move was particularly jarring for me. We were moving to Canada's little Russian with a history of war and peace set against a beautiful valley where two rivers meet. The 4-5 years I spent there before moving on to the Okanagan would change my life forever. This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit foodietown.substack.com
