Pastry chef extraordinaire Darren Purchese returns to Food Bytes after five years and he has lost none of his zest for cooking and life. Darren is a contestant on the second season of Dessert Masters, currently screening on Ten and Ten Play. Darren takes us behind the scenes and reveals why he chose to put himself through this competition and whether or not he himself has a sweet tooth. We also revisit a personal favourite dish, how he started in the hospitality industry and some tips on running your home kitchen like a restaurant kitchen to save money.
