Episode 101 Jason Schechterle is a First Class Father who is an Air Force Veteran and Former Police Officer from Phoenix Arizona. On March 26th 2001, a taxi cab traveling over 100mph smashed into his patrol car which exploded on impact. Miraculously Jason survived the blast but suffered severe burns to over 40% of his body. His recovery was a long fought battle to overcome so many challenges. His story is one of the most inspirational ones you will ever hear and I am honored to have him on today’s podcast. He graduated from University of Arizona in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, where he also served as captain of the Swim Team. During his swimming carrer, Jeff was a member of the US National Team 1984-87, Top 10 World Rankings 1984-1988, and NCAA All-American in 1988.
