Greater than Unfulfilled Promises
What do you do when we see the promises of God go unfulfilled in this life? Scripture is filled with examples of people who lived lives of faith – having never received the promise. This is the hard reality for the life of a Christian. It is not bleak though. In those instances, we claim a greater promise found in the last verse of Hebrews 11… ‘God has something better planned.’

Greater than Normal
Drifting away comes with consequences. It causes you to believe some myths about the Christian which we will discuss today. Drifting away also encourages you to embrace ‘normal.’ Normal is overrated. As we dive into the tenth chapter of Hebrews we see that God has GREATER in store for us than normal. So today we discuss giving normal a funeral by embracing for commands in chapter ten.

A Greater Perspective
The message of the book of Hebrews is simple - don’t give up - because Jesus is GREATER. And because Jesus is greater, we now have a greater perspective. What Jesus did for us with the new covenant was to change our whole perspective on life. Before the focus was based on the idea that God’s acceptance and love was contingent on our behavior. Now we understand that we do not serve for His love, approval, and redemption - we serve God from His love, approval, and redemption.

The Old versus The New
Sometimes when something is new it’s a complete let down. Anybody remember ‘New Coke’? The writer of Hebrews makes the case that the new covenant is the exception to that rule. The New Covenant provided by Jesus Christ gifts us a new purity, a new identity, a new desire and new power. (from Hebrews 8)

Jesus is Our Greater Hope
This message is part of our study through the book of Hebrews. Today’s message focuses on why Melchizedek was used to point to how much greater Jesus is. He is our greater hope, and you can trust Him.

Greater: It’s Time to Move On to Greater Things
This message is part of our study through the book of Hebrews. Hebrews was written to persecuted Jewish Christians with a simple message directed to them: Don't Give Up - because Jesus is Greater.
