Dr. Greg Hampikian is a biologist and the founder and director of the Idaho Innocence Project. He is considered one of the foremost forensic DNA experts in the United States. Dr. Hampikian is a Professor, Biology, and Criminal Justice at Boise State University from 2006 to present. He is also the Director of the Idaho Innocence Project since 2006. On today's Finding Freedom Rewind we look back on an incredible interview with polygraph expert Doug Williams. Doug shares with John why he believes the polygraph to be a complete fraud of a technology. This episode originally aired in September of 2018. Unfortunately, Doug passed away in March of 2021. He had been battling an illness. May he rest in peace. Doug administered polygraph examinations for the Oklahoma City Police department from 1972 - 79. In 1979 he began teaching people how to beat the polygraph. The feds didn't like this so they came after him and he was incarcerated in Federal prison for 2 years for "protesting the loudest and the longest against the polygraph."
