While Haley is doing her final preparations for Kona, Alyssa got to sit down with Rachel Joyce and discuss all things Big Island. Rachel is a former pro triathlete who accumulated numerous podium and top five finishes at the coveted event. In this interview we talked about Rachel's personal experiences racing in Kona, as well as what she thinks of various preparation strategies. As well, we both gave some insight into the race dynamics that might go down, and how all this will be enhanced in the women's only format!
