This week on the show we had the absolute honor of interviewing a rising icon in the Ironman world, Mel McQuaid! Mel recently placed third at Ironman Coeur D'Alene, which mad her the first woman to qualify for the Ironman world championships at the age of fifty.
In this episode we got to hear all about Mel's journey as an athlete, including what she credits various highs and lows to. As well, she explains how she aims to be a role model for others in terms of aging as an elite female athlete. Mel is a gem of the multisport community, and we are to glad to have been able to have her on the show again!
