S1 Ep 105Veterans Success Club – Joe O’Connor

Veterans Success Club Joe O’ConnorAt the age of 14 Joe O’Connor was involved in a serious near fatal road incident that left him in a wheelchair for a year. Undaunted, Joe resumed his life and achieved things he was told were not physically possible. Then at the age of 37 whilst on selection with the UK’s Elite Special Forces (S.A.S.), He was blown off a mountain ridge during a military training exercise, falling some 400 feet, breaking his neck, leading to two spinal injury specialists determining a prognosis of lifelong paralysis. One thing Joe recognized, is these experiences presented him with an opportunity to choose how his life would pan out and, on both occasions, he chose to move forward using each incident as his guide to achieve greater success. He refused to accept what fate seemed to have handed him. On both occasions he made a conscious decision to improvise, adapt and overcome and, in doing so, transformed his life.Joe holds the personal proof that every single pivotal moment in your life, gives you the opportunity to choose how your life turns out - rather than let life just happen to you. Does that make sense?Joe has been coaching wealth management and financial strategies for over 35 years reaching over 5,000 people. Of those, 80 per cent have been veterans and business entrepreneurs. His programs have helped people all over the world to become financially free and created many millionaires. His is the founder of the “Transformation for Veterans” nonprofit – aimed at helping military veterans and ambitious business owners to increase their knowledge and achieve greater success and financial independence. Because of his military background and all that he has been through in life, overcoming challenge after challenge, Joe understands the unique challenges and triumphs you face – no matter your background. Amen! Oh, by the way – Joe fulfilled his personal mission to complete the New York City Marathon… amen!Help me welcome to the program, Joe O’Connor!  Joe, I’ve been looking forward to this conversation since we first connected, brother!  Share your story with us…  What was your life like after that? When did you first start to come up with the idea to help other veterans? What is the difference between the “Transformer Lifestyle Company” and the work you do with veterans? Can you share a little bit about some of the programs you have that help people, veterans and non-vets, to achieve their dreams and goals in business? I wasn’t in Special Forces… but I was an officer in the Cavalry. So I’m familiar with the “Pathfinder” symbology in your course that goes by that name.  In the few minutes we have left, tell us about your non-profit and how you help vets.. Joe, this is all so interesting. How can we get more information on your programs and services? If someone wanted to reach out to you and ask a question or possibly to do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you? I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below. Folks, Joe O’Connor and his team have put together THE PERFECT PROGRAM to help YOU achieve YOUR dreams. Amen!  If you are veteran – you do not want to pass this by. You need to check this program out. It could be the answer you have been searching for.The Veterans Success Club is your ultimate resource for elevating your business and personal achievement to new heights! S1 Ep 99Out of the Darkness - Richard LaMonica

Out of the Darkness Richard LaMonicaHow many of you served in the military or know someone, a loved one perhaps, that served. These last twenty years have seen a lot of tragedy. Our military members have suffered the brunt of everything that has gone on. For some, most of their careers were spent during a time of war. Richard LaMonica served 22 years in the US Army.  He seen it all. After he retired, life was not easy. But, through perseverance and hard work, he is making a difference. He is now helping other vets to get their life back. Richard is the author of two books, “13 Step Guide to Success,” and also a fiction book, “Out of the Darkness.”   He is also a coach, speaker and also the host of a podcast, “TheMisFitNation” podcast.Help me welcome to the program, Richard LaMonica. Richard, it is a blessing to have you on the program today, I do appreciate your time.Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Richard LaMonica?”Like me, all you ever wanted to do was join the Army. I enlisted in September of my senior year and left for basic training 7 days after graduation. But yours took a little different route, correct? What was your MOS in the Army? When I left service, I thought I would be able to get a job fairly quickly – but soon found out that was not the case.  As I was contemplating my unique skill set, I realized there was not much opportunity for someone whose skill set was being trained to engage and destroy and make the other guy die for his country.Despite the leadership training, detailed planning, etc., it took me quite a while to find a good paying job. When you left service, you also found it a little difficult to get a job, correct? It took me quite a while to actually make the mindset transition from the military mindset to a civilian mindset. I’m talking about, “Something needs to be done – just do it.” Mission accomplishment, no matter how small the mission. In the civilian sector, it seemed like they were living by the adage of “Let’s put off till tomorrow that which could be accomplished today.”  Did you find the same thing?Your podcast is the “TheMisFitNation” podcast. How long have you been podcasting? Why did you pick that name, “TheMisFitNation” podcast? You share that your podcast promotes forward-thinking mindset and resiliency. Can you tell us a little more about your podcast and who you try to help and how?Do you serve as a referral source (of sorts) for vets seeking help and assistance? You also are an author. Your first book is the “13 Step Guide to Success.” What would you like to share about that book? One of the steps in your book is, “Do not make resolutions, they never work. Instead, create a list of 12 goals and write them down.”  Can you share a little bit about why you included that in your book?I loved the ones you included, I’ll just combine them here to save time. You tell your readers, “Go outside and breathe in the air. While outside, actually look up 3 inches and talk to another human – then bend down and pet the dog.”  Explain that for our listeners and why that is especially true for our listeners who are vets…Your latest book is a work of fiction titled “Out of the Darkness.”  It may be a work of fiction, but it depicts some true to life situations. Can you share with us what this book is about? You also do some coaching, correct? Can you share a little about your coaching program?Richard, this has been truly interesting. If someone wants to reach out to you, to ask a question or possibly to do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?Your book, “Out of Darkness” and also the “13 Step Guide to Success,” how can someone obtain copies of those books? Are they on Amazon?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below…Folks, Richard’s latest book, “Out of the Darkness,” is a novel that basically transcends the traditional war narrative. This book goes deep into the psychological aftermath of combat. With unwavering authenticity, it portrays the harrowing realities faced by soldiers, past and present, and the resilient spirit that drives them to find light in the midst of unfathomable darkness. You also need to purchase Richard’s other book, the “13 Step Guide to Success.”   In life, we all learn lessons. It is what we do with them that ultimately separates us from others. We can choose to continue to accept the things that are in front of us, or we can push ourselves through hard work and motivation to a successful life.  Through his journey, Richard LaMonica came up with these 13 steps to help you find out how to be the best version of yourself – all while finding success in all the things you do in life. Amen.Drop down into the show note

S1 Ep 98Reflecting Faith in Business Practices

Testimony Through Excellence - Reflecting Faith in Business PracticesToday, we're diving into a vital aspect of merging our faith with our business endeavors: Testimony Through Excellence. It’s about showcasing our commitment to Christ - not just in what we say - but in what we do and how excellently we do it. Every product sold, every service rendered, and every customer interaction,  presents a unique opportunity to bear witness to our faith. The call to excellence is deeply rooted in our Christian faith. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, saying, 'Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” This passage isn’t just about the effort we put into our work; it’s about the quality and the integrity behind it. As entrepreneurs, this means our businesses should be reflections of our dedication to excellence, showcasing the transformative power of our faith.Striving for excellence means investing more time and resources, often more than our competitors. It also means building a brand that people trust and respect. Just these two factors by themselves will separate normal businesses – how much more so when we incorporate our Faith into the business as well?Easy…This is where FaithCasters steps in. FaithCasters is not just a platform; it’s a community where Christian entrepreneurs just like you can share your journey, your challenges, and your successes in integrating faith with business excellence. S1 Ep 97Stewardship of Resources and Talents

Maximizing Your Impact for God’s KingdomOur focus today is on a principle close to the heart of every Christian business owner: Stewardship of Resources and Talents. This is about recognizing everything we have — our talents, finances, and our businesses — are gifts from God, entrusted to us to manage wisely and for His glory. The Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30 isn't just a story; it's a direct call to action for us. It challenges us to use the gifts God has given us, not to bury them out of fear or complacency, but to invest them in ways that yield growth, both for our businesses and for God’s kingdom. The first step in stewardship is acknowledging that our abilities and resources are not solely our own achievements but are actually blessings from God. This perspective shifts how we approach business, from merely seeking personal gain to asking, “How can I use these gifts to serve others and honor God?”But stewardship doesn’t stop with us. It’s a message and a mission we need to share. That’s where FaithCasters comes into play. As a community of Christian entrepreneurs, FaithCasters provides a platform for you to share how you're leveraging your business as a force for good, implementing stewardship of resources and talents, and making a meaningful impact."By joining FaithCasters, you connect with a network of like-minded entrepreneurs, share your journey of stewardship, and inspire others to view their businesses as a ministry. S1 Ep 95Mission-Driven Entrepreneurship

Mission-Driven Entrepreneurship: Integrating Faith with Business PurposeToday, we're diving into a concept that's close to the heart of every Christian business owner: Mission-Driven Entrepreneurship. It's about aligning our businesses with a higher purpose, serving others through our entrepreneurial ventures, and making a tangible impact in the world, all while staying true to our Christian faith. In this journey, our businesses aren't just a means to financial success; they're platforms for ministry, avenues through which we can express our faith and share God's love with the world. The Great Commission, in Matthew 28:19-20, doesn't exempt us when we're in business attire. It calls us to 'go and make disciples of all nations,' and what better way to reach out than through our businesses? By integrating our faith into our business model, we become missionaries in the marketplace, spreading the good news - not only through words - but through our actions and ethical business practices as well.A mission-driven business looks beyond profit margins to see the real human needs it can meet. Whether it's by offering great products at fair prices, providing services that enrich communities, or supporting charitable causes, our businesses can be a powerful force for good. It's about embodying the principles of service and love, as Jesus did, reaching out to those in need through the work we do each and every day.Go over to FaithCaster.org and find some other Christian believers you can network with and use the power of combined resources to truly make a difference in the world! S1 Ep 92Maximizing Your Impact for God’s Kingdom

Our focus today is on a principle close to the heart of every Christian business owner: Stewardship of Resources and Talents. This perspective shifts how we approach business, from merely seeking personal gain to asking, “How can I use these gifts to serve others and honor God?”Investing in the kingdom doesn't only mean financial contributions to church or charity. S1 Ep 91Testimony Through Excellence - Reflecting Faith in Business Practices

As entrepreneurs, this means our businesses should be reflections of our dedication to excellence, showcasing the transformative power of our faith. In a marketplace often skeptical of Christian businesses, excellence in our work becomes our silent, yet powerful, testimony. It breaks down preconceptions and opens doors for the gospel, not through overt preaching, but through the undeniable quality and ethics of our business practices. When customers see that we don't cut corners, that we treat our employees with respect, and that we go above and beyond to deliver outstanding service, they see the impact of our beliefs in action.Achieving excellence isn't just about meeting industry standards - but setting new ones. This is where FaithCasters steps in. FaithCasters is not just a platform; it’s a community where Christian entrepreneurs just like you can share your journey, your challenges, and your successes in integrating faith with business excellence. Amen!Joining FaithCasters enables you to share how your Christian values have shaped your business practices, the pursuit of excellence, and the positive impact it has had on your customers and community. It’s about connecting with a like-minded audience, learning from others, and inspiring those who are striving to make their faith an integral part of their business, just like you have! Amen!Your business is more than just a source of income; it's a platform for ministry, a testimony to your faith, and a beacon of excellence in the marketplace. S1 Ep 89Integrating Faith with Business Purpose

Integrating Faith with Business PurposeToday, we're diving into a concept that's close to the heart of every Christian business owner: Mission-Driven Entrepreneurship. It's about embodying the principles of service and love, as Jesus did, reaching out to those in need through the work we do each and every day. But, how do you share this mission-driven approach with the world? How do you connect with customers who value your faith and commitment to making a difference? I’m so glad you asked!  That's where FaithCasters comes into play.FaithCasters is the perfect partner for mission-driven entrepreneurs like you. It's not just a platform; it's a community where you can share your business's story, connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, and find new opportunities to spread the word about your mission. S1 Ep 81Increase Your Influence – Trudy Beerman

Increase Your Influence Trudy BeermanIn today’s society, money is often the focus of, well – everything!  Even if you do not want to focus on money – the fact you are trying NOT to focus on money has you focused on money! Amen!  Our guest today helps people to shift their focus from money (which has become their god) to becoming focused on THE GOD who gives them the money! Amen! Money is not “the root of all evil” as some claim.  But scripture is very specific in 1 Timothy 6:10 that says, “THE LOVE of money is the root of all evil.”  The key is to “root out the evil” and then all your left with is the money! Amen!  Then you can do what God has called you do with that money. Praise God!Trudy Beerman is our guest today. Trudy was on way, way back in 2018.  Episode number 216 I believe. That was almost 1250 episodes ago!  Amen!Trudy is a TV producer, radio show host and best-selling author with many financial industry credentials to her credit. She is a Christian Stewardship Strategist who helps move Christian business owners from places of worrying about money to a place where they can #BeMore #HaveMore and #GiveMore. Amen!  She also served as a Dave Ramsey table leader at her church and was a former member of “Kingdom Advisors.” Does that sound like a place YOU would like to be? I know it does me! Amen!Help me welcome – BACK – to the program, Trudy Beerman!  Trudy – it has been a few years. It’s hard to believe it has been almost six years since we last talked. Amen! So, to catch us up on what you have been doing, let me start by asking you this question first. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Trudy Beerman?”Can you share with us how you became involved in the “Biblical Prosperity” type of business?I have heard that you are sometimes mentioned in the same circles with Dave Ramsey, etc. But you operate in a little different area than Dave Ramsey’s organization, correct?Your brand is called “REACHology.”  What does that phrase mean?In your opinion, is it better to be a big fish in a small pond? Or should we try to jump to a bigger pond where there are bigger fish? You are a doctoral candidate at Liberty University and you are study “influential reach.” This is what we were just talking about. How are you applying this to doctrinal studies? How are you able to help the average person increase their reach with your REACHology program? You also have your own television channel called “Profitable Stewardship, Inc.,” or PSI for short.Tell us a bit about using PSI-TV to increase our influential reach…You share that if you can do YouTube, you can do TV.  Don’t we need to have fancy cameras and light sets to do television?I do love the part where you shared before that God inspired you to use your talent and invest it in helping others. And when you wondered if anyone would even listen to you, as there are other people out there who also specialize in helping increase influence, etc. Can you share what God downloaded to you that moved you off the needle and into what you do now?As we get ready to close, I do want to go over, what you call, the REACHology Score. What is that and why is it important to us?It’s also not just about reaching others… it also involves reaching the correct groups of people. I mean, if I was a computer programmer, I could advertise and promote my products to, I don’t know, roofers or something. There may be a couple of roofers that may be interested, but most would not be. I believe you have developed an AP called your “Audience Finder AI” that helps with this. Can you share about how it works and how it can help? You are using this same system to help a local politician identify her weak areas in her campaign. How is that working for her in her?Trudy, this has been so interesting. If someone wanted to get in touch with you or ask a question, how can they do that? You also have an offer to help them to “Get the Word Out” about what they are doing and possibly even put their information on television. How does that work?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes. Amen.Folks, Trudy is the real deal. She has been on our program before and she has grown even more in the services she helps believers with. Amen!  You need… listen to me here… you NEED to drop down into the show notes and reach out to Trudy Beerman, right now, while you are listening to me. Amen! Click the links below and get in touch with her. Check out her website and all the things she can help you with. S1 Ep 80Rejecting the Stigma of Wealth

Rejecting the Stigma of WealthJob's story challenges the misconception that wealth is inherently sinful. Despite being the wealthiest man in the land, Job was commended by God as "blameless and upright, one who fears God and shuns evil" (Job 1:8 ESV). This illustrates that prosperity and godliness are not mutually exclusive. This sentiment is echoed in 1 Timothy 6:17 (ESV), where Paul warns against the love of money but acknowledges the potential for good in wealth: "As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy." Job's example challenges us to view wealth not as a stumbling block but as a tool for honoring God and blessing others.Website: https://FaithCaster.org Mentioned in this episode:Faith-Based Business NewsletterSubscribe to the weekly Faith-Based Business Newsletter for just $5 per month! https://faithbasedbiz.substack.com FaithCaster AcademyTake your business to the next level and check out FaithCaster Academy! S1 Ep 79Using Wealth to Serve God and Others

Using Wealth to Serve God and OthersJob's prosperity was not a means of self-indulgence but a platform for benevolence. Despite his wealth, Job remained deeply compassionate and generous, using his abundance to uplift the less fortunate. Job 29:12-13 (NIV) recounts his acts of compassion: "I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them. The one who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing."This aligns with 1 Timothy 6:17-19 (NIV), where Paul instructs the wealthy to be generous and willing to share: "Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share."Website: https://FaithCaster.orgMentioned in this episode:FaithCaster AcademyTake your business to the next level and check out FaithCaster Academy! S1 Ep 78The Intersection of Success and Faith

The Intersection of Success and FaithJob's prosperity was not an obstacle to his faith but rather a testament to it. Despite facing unimaginable trials, Job remained steadfast in his devotion to God, declaring, "Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him" (Job 13:15 ESV). This resilience underscores the inseparable connection between success and faith. In James 1:12 (ESV), we find reinforcement for this principle: "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." This verse emphasizes the importance of maintaining faith amidst trials, mirroring Job's unwavering trust in God's sovereignty.Website: https://FaithCaster.orgMentioned in this episode:Faith-Based Business NewsletterSubscribe to the weekly Faith-Based Business Newsletter for just $5 per month! https://faithbasedbiz.substack.com FaithCaster AcademyTake your business to the next level and check out FaithCaster Academy! S1 Ep 77Prosperity is Encouraged in the Bible

Prosperity is Encouraged in the Bible Introduction of Job's Prosperity and UprightnessGod is using Job as an example of what happens when you live right with God!  Everyone wants to use Job as an example of when things go bad… how you have to maintain your Faith in God. But that is not what the Bible depicts.  When things went south for Job it was because the devil was trying to tell God that Job was not really a believer in Him – in God.This scripture echoes the sentiment expressed in Matthew 6:33 (NIV), where Jesus instructs his followers to prioritize righteousness and trust in God: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."Job's example underscores the compatibility of success in business with a life dedicated to serving God.We will be talking more about Job and his wealth and prosperity and how it applies to us today as we continue this week.I want to encourage you to go over the FaithCaster.org and sign up to receive our newsletter that connects great Christian podcasters with great Christian guests. S1 Ep 76A Brand in Your Hand – Glenn Rudin

A Brand in Your Hand – Glenn RudinIf you are in business, or you have a podcast, etc. – you are establishing your brand.  This brand is what distinguishes you from others out in the world.  If I mention the word, “COKE” – what comes to mind. For the majority of you, probably the soda drink, “Coca-Cola.” But what if nobody knew what that was?I remember, when I first joined the Army. I was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas for basic training. We finally earned our first 2 hour pass. I headed to the snack bar to have some of that GOOD FOOD that I had missed the past month or so.  I went to the counter and asked for “A pop of coke.” The lady looked at me as if I was speaking French. She said, “What do you want?”  I said “A pop, please.” She said, “What’s that?” I said, “A coke. A drink?” She then said, “OH, you want a soda?”You see, in Michigan, it’s called “pop.” Down south, it’s called “soda.”  There are some that may have thought of “cocaine” when I said “coke.” But the majority, I hope, though of Coca-Cola. Did you imagine the red and white can? Or the slender bottle? Or the dark drink with bubbles and the glass sweating a little bit because its cold?  That is all branding. What is YOUR BRAND?That is what our guest will be sharing with us today. All about branding. That is what will stand out in your customers minds when they hear your name or the name of your company. Amen.Glenn Rudin is known as the “Message Master.” He helps folks just like you and me to find clarity in their business. He has been working in the Branding and Messaging industry for more than 40 years, helping businesses to define “clear value” of their company, their brand and products and then communicate that to their customers. Amen!He is also a keynote speaker and the author of a great book, “A Brand in Your Hand.” This is the world’s FIRST fully rhyming, full color book on branding! Amen!Help me welcome to the program, Glenn Rudin. Glen, it is a blessing to have you join us today!First, let me start with this question. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Glenn Rudin?”How did you get started in this “Branding Business Strategy?”Now, I want to read something here from your book, just to give our audience a tease:“A key part of your business will be your brand…It’s something important, you must understand…On the following pages, I will provide…A clear, comprehensive brand-building guide…A brand is a way to make a business stand out…It makes it more noticeable and give it more clout…When your brandings on point, it adds to its mystique…This makes us feel like it’s special and unique…Your brand will remind us of what you’re about…It creates a strong message and leaves little doubt…It’s what we will think about you, when you’re not around…When done really well, it should be quite profound…AMEN!Let me ask you… WHY rhyme? You also have a coaching class. It’s called, “Message Master Academy.” Tell us a little bit about that? It’s a weekly class. Do you go over just one of these aspects each week, so it’s a cumulative effect? Or do you do a basic overview of them all?  Just share a little about they can expect? So there is no cost for this class? At least right now?If you could offer one piece of advice on branding to someone who is listening right now, what would that be?I’ll offer one here as well… You need to sign up for Glenn’s class. Amen!Glenn, this has been so interesting. If someone wanted more information or wanted to ask you a question – or maybe do an interview such as this, how can they get in touch with you?Your book, how can someone order a copy of your book? Is it on Amazon?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below.Folks, as you have heard, branding is essential if you want to grow your business. It is vital that you project the correct message through your branding. So many people get it wrong. And suffer as a result. S1 Ep 75Christian Professionals of Atlanta – Ana Megrelishvili

Christian Professionals of Atlanta Ana MegrelishviliNetworking in business is so important, more important than some people realize. If you are trying to run a business by yourself, making decisions by yourself, planning everything by yourself, creating marketing plans by yourself – you are BY YOURSELF.But, when you can network with other professionals, you can “pick their brains” (so to speak) and bounce ideas of those who have gone before you in the battles you are now facing. You can talk about problems you are facing, hurdles you’ve encountered. You can bounce ideas of others. Some may even pitch in and help you accomplish your goals, etc. With Christians, it is especially important. Not only are you in business, but you are living out your values (at least you should be). That can create all sorts of additional pressures that most secular minded businesses are not really concerned with – but you are! What if you could network with business professionals who are also living Christian values, reflecting Christian values and advocating Christian values in their businesses? That would be WIN-WIN-WIN and WIN – amen! Our guest today is the founder of an organization called, “Christian Professionals of Atlanta.”Ana Megrelishvili is here to share information about this organization whose mission is to bring together Christian professionals in the Atlanta, GA area and help them to develop meaningful relationships through common faith, values and philanthropy. Amen!  This organization goes out of its way to achieve a positive impact on the community service to others.Ana also helps adults find their own path to positive change through her own coaching business, “Find Courage to Change.” Amen!Ana is also the author of a great book, “Finding Courage to Change.”Help me welcome to the program, Ana Megrelishvili.  Ana, it is such a blessing to have on the program today, I appreciate your time!First question I always start with is this. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Ana Megrelishvili?”What kind of obstacles have you run into while trying to grow your organization? Can you tell us what types of events and things like that do you hold?I noticed on the website that you do have speakers come in. These are professionals and non-profits from the Atlanta area?Share with us about your coaching business… what do you offer? Is this only available to those in the Atlanta area, or can someone work with you remotely?Share about your book, “Finding Courage to Change.” Why did you write this book? What would be the number one take-away someone reading your book will receive?Ana, this has been so interesting. If someone is in the Atlanta area and would like to get more information on joining the Christian Professionals of Atlanta, how can they do that? How can someone obtain more information? If someone wanted to get more information on your coaching practice, how would you like them to get in touch with you?Your book, “Finding Courage to Change,” how can someone obtain a copy of that book? Is it on Amazon?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below.Folks, as we said in the beginning, networking is crucial to any business. It is absolutely crucial if you are a professional and you want to improve, get better at what you do and meet people who are like minded. And it is absolutely vital – if you are a Christian professional, to surround yourself with professionals who hold the same value system you do concerning Christian ethics and morality in business. Amen!Drop down into the show notes and reach out to Ana. Check out the Christian Professionals of Atlanta. Order her book, even if you are not in the Atlanta area, it will be a blessing to you. Amen!  And be sure to check out her coaching services as her Christian perspective on things could bless you immensely in whatever it is you are trying to do or grow in professionally. S1 Ep 74Making Quality Decisions with NLP – John James Santangelo

Making Quality Decisions with NLP John James SantangeloOur guest today is a dynamic and entertaining gentleman who comes to us from Los Angeles, CA. He is a Communication Skills expert, Certified NLP Trainer, A PhD Clinical Hypno-therapist, and a Professional Results Coach! He’s the author of the powerful books: Discovering NLP... Setting Goals & Discovering Trance! He’s a volunteer for the Big Brothers & Sisters of America association, and Chrysalis (chris-a-lis) a homeless rehabilitation program as well as a spokesperson for the Make-A-Wish Foundation! He’s coached and worked with companies such as:The Learning Annex, Xerox, Mary Kay, City of Hope, Well-Point, Microsoft, Multiple-Sclerosis Society, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, and worked regularly with The Teamsters Union, And months after 9/11, as head trainer teaching lie-detection skills to the US Army Counter-Intelligence Team! Amen!  I know you’re going to get a lot of great information today… so grab a pen and paper and prepare to take some notes. Amen!  Help me welcome to the program, John James Santangelo.  First question I always start with is this… other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is John James Santangelo?”Let’s start with this… I know you started at age 15 as a professional magician – I’ve always been fascinated with that profession. I’m nowhere near a professional status, but I was able to keep my grandkids entertained… I’m always picking up another illusion package along the way from time to time… How did this impact you and did this influence your interest in the NLP line of work? Now, NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming.  Some folks may think that is hypnosis or mind-control or something. But it’s not… can you share with us what it is – in layman’s terms? Most people think it is a form of getting people to buy things… used in sale and marketing or  the “law of attraction” in relationships and things like that. But it is used in a wide variety of things. Can you share a few of those with us?Most people probably never thought they were being exposed to NLP in those examples. Like weight loss or leadership skills or coaching programs… How does NLP help in, say “weight loss?”Are “Affirmations” a type of NLP?Christians do this all the time and not even think about. “I am in Christ.”  “I am an overcomer.” “I am blessed.” “I am prosperous. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, etc.” You have a training center in Los Angeles where you hold these classes. I believe I read it is 12 days long and is a total of 120 hours. What do your students learn during that time and what certifications do they leave with?As we get ready to close, is there anything you would like to say to our listeners that we have not covered?John, this is all so interesting. I could talk to you for hours about this. If someone has some questions, as I’m sure they will, how can they get in touch with you or your organization? You also said you had a free gift for our listeners today, is that right?I’ll put links to all of this in the show notes below.Folks, life is made up of and consists on a series of decisions. Decisions you make on a daily basis. What clothes to wear… what to eat for lunch… who to marry… what house to buy… what job should you apply for, etc.Your Faith is definitely based on a decision. Your decision to trust in Christ, etc.Quality decision can bring a greater quality to your life. That is what we are talking about today with John James Santangelo.  I believe you received something today that will benefit you down the road. S1 Ep 73Why You Need to Offer Valuable Resources

Why You Need to Offer Valuable ResourcesScripture Reference: "Freely you have received; freely give." (Matthew 10:8, NIV)This verse from the Gospel of Matthew succinctly encapsulates the principle of sharing generously what one has been given. In the context of offering valuable free resources in podcast interviews, this scripture can be related to the idea of imparting knowledge, advice, and tools without expecting immediate compensation. Just as the verse encourages giving freely of what one has received, coaches and experts can provide free resources such as eBooks, guides, or courses to their audience, embodying this principle of generosity. The act of offering free resources in podcast interviews is a way of giving back to the community, sharing expertise and valuable content as a means of helping others. This approach not only benefits the recipients but also helps in establishing the giver’s authority and credibility in their field. It aligns with the biblical principle of selfless giving and contributes to building a relationship of trust and goodwill with the audience. The scripture underlines the importance of generosity and the positive cycle it creates, which can lead to long-term benefits and growth both for the audience and for you, as a podcast guest.Mentioned in this episode:FaithCaster AcademyTake your business to the next level and check out FaithCaster Academy! S1 Ep 72Previewing the approach of leveraging podcast audiences for business growth

February 8 Previewing the approach of leveraging podcast audiences for business growth. Scripture Reference: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Luke 6:38, NIV)This verse from the Gospel of Luke can be seen as emphasizing the principle of reciprocity and generosity. In the context of leveraging podcast audiences for business growth, this scripture can metaphorically relate to the concept of providing value to audiences. Just as the scripture encourages giving with the promise of receiving in return, engaging with podcast audiences by offering valuable insights, knowledge, and resources can be seen as a form of 'giving.' In return, this generosity of information and expertise can lead to business growth, as listeners who find value in what is shared may become followers, clients, or advocates for the coach's services.Mentioned in this episode:FaithCaster AcademyTake your business to the next level and check out FaithCaster Academy! S1 Ep 71Top Podcasting Tips to Grow Your Influence

Online Coaches: Top Podcasting Tips to Grow Your InfluenceFebruary 7, 2024Scripture Reference: "Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance."(Proverbs 1:5, ESV)This verse from Proverbs highlights the importance of seeking and disseminating wisdom and knowledge. In the context of the unique advantages of podcast interviews for online coaches, this scripture can be paralleled to the concept of sharing and acquiring knowledge through modern means. Podcast interviews provide an opportunity for online coaches to disseminate their insights, experiences, and guidance to a broader audience. Simultaneously, listeners of these podcasts, who are often seeking knowledge and personal growth, are given the opportunity to "hear and increase in learning." The verse encapsulates the mutual benefit of podcast interviews: coaches share their wisdom, contributing to the pool of accessible knowledge, while listeners gain by enhancing their understanding and obtaining guidance from experts in various fields. Therefore, this scripture underscores the value of knowledge exchange, which is central to the unique advantages of podcast interviews in today's digital landscape.I have a FREE offer just for you. S1 Ep 70Why Every Coach, Thought Leader, & Subject Expert Should Start a Podcast

Why Every Coach, Thought Leader, & Subject Expert Should Start a PodcastFebruary 7, 2024Romans 10:14-15 "And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:14-15, KJV)This passage from Romans speaks to the importance of disseminating information and sharing messages. In the context of highlighting the growing influence of podcasts in the digital age, this scripture can be seen as analogous to the role of podcasts in spreading information, knowledge, and ideas. Just as the scripture emphasizes the need for a preacher to convey messages, podcasts serve as a modern medium for coaches, thought leaders, and experts to share their insights and teachings with a broader audience. The reference to "beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things"can be interpreted as an appreciation for those who use their platform, like podcasts, to spread positive, insightful, and beneficial messages to the world. In this way, the scripture underlines the significance of reaching out to and educating others, a key element in the growing influence and importance of podcasts today.I have a FREE offer just for you. S1 Ep 63Business Owner or Business Operator – Robert Poole

Business Owner or Business Operator Robert PooleHow many of you are running a business?  Now, don’t get hung up on that term, “running a business.”  If you are working for a company, you are “running a business.” You are trying to do your job, obtain recognition, pay raises and job security. You’re in the business of promoting yourself. Amen.If you are in full time ministry – I guarantee you are operating a business. If you are self-employed – you are running a business. If you are in the corporate world, you are running a business. Basically, unless you are already in Heaven and have left this earth, you are in the process of “running a business.” Amen! Don’t shout me down when I’m preaching good! Our guest today is Robert Poole, a West Point graduate, and because of that, of course, he is a former Army officer. He has worked in Commercial and Residential real estate; in corporate recruiting, and investment sales – all prior to co-founding “Total Business Results,” a B2B cold calling, appointment setting and lead generation marketing company. As an experienced business to business marketer, Robert Poole and his marketing business was thriving. They specialized in cold call marketing for businesses for more than 22 years. Then, unexpectedly, he lost his business partner and found himself now running the company, by himself, with the workload that usually kept two people busy. We can understand how that king of stress would rapidly build up to a dangerous level, with not enough time in the day – every day - and how that would drastically affect his personal life as well. But, he found himself drawing closer to God and, as usually is the case, God opened a way to untie himself from the day to day operations of the business and become an “owner” of the business instead of an “operator” of the business. He now helps other entrepreneurs make that transition from “operator” to “owner” and gain that free time – and if you’re honest with yourself, is probably the reason you entered the business world anyway! Amen! Praise God! I know I can use this information we are going to learn today. Amen!  Come on!  I know I’m not alone out there.. Praise God!  Help me welcome to the program, Robert Poole!  Praise God!  Robert, thank you for taking the time to join us today! I do appreciate it! The first question I always start with is this. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Robert Poole?”As we get started, I want to thank you for your time in military service. I try to recognize every veteran we have on the program because, as we discussed prior to starting the recording, my twelve years in the military is still a very big part of who I am today – and I just enjoy talking to other vets who are blessing others in what they do as well. So thank you for making that sacrifice of that part of your life. Let’s jump to the big upset in your life that got you where you’re at today. You lost your longtime business partner in 2017 and that changed your trajectory for both, your business and your life.
