ENP59: Fructose and Liver Disease

Fructose is sweeter than glucose and is often added to processed foods as a sweetener, commonly in the form of high-fructose corn syrup. Some studies suggest that fructose consumption may be associated with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, and some new research, recently presented at ENDO, addresses this issue.
