Life Abundant: Man On the Mat and Jesus Risen | April 12, 2026
What are you measuring your life against? This Easter message takes us to John 5 and the story of a man stuck for 38 years beside a pool—waiting, comparing, and hoping for change. When Jesus steps in, He doesn’t just heal him… He asks a deeper question: “Do you want to get well?” From the pool to the mirror, this message challenges us to examine what we’ve been looking at, what we’ve been believing, and what’s been keeping us stuck. Jesus didn’t come to leave you where you are—He came to call you up, forward, and into life abundant. This is the story of Easter: Once dead, now living.Once stuck, now moving. Once defeated, now walking in victory. Pastor Andy Cass TEXT: John 5:2–9, John 10:10 Big Idea- A distorted mirror lets you stay the same. A true reflection invites you to be transformed. Questions: Do you want to get well? Do you actually want abundant life? How long are you going to sit where you’ve been stuck? What are you measuring your life against? Two distortions: Comfort Christianity → makes you look better than you are Shame Christianity → makes you look worse than you are A distorted mirror allows you to stay the same but a true reflection invites you to be transformed. WHO JESUS IS Jesus sees you Jesus loves you enough to confront you Jesus heals you Jesus conquered death Jesus invites you beyond belief and into discipleship (following). Crave Different: Spiritual Gifts- Wisdom and Knowledge | March 08, 2026
Pastor Andy Cass Spiritual gifts often begin in seed form. The question is not only whether you see them, but whether you recognize where they come from. In this message, we explore the Word of Wisdom and the Word of Knowledge—two supernatural gifts of the Spirit that reveal what cannot be naturally known and guide us toward the right action at the right time. Through the life of Jesus and examples throughout Scripture, we see that these gifts are not talents to impress people but Kingdom tools used to build, correct, encourage, and transform lives. TEXT: 1 Corinthians 12:1; 1 Corinthians 12:8; James 1:5; 2 Timothy 4:2; Proverbs 3:12 John 8:1–11; John 4:16–19; 1 Kings 3:16–28; 2 Kings 5:20–27 NOTES: Five Guiding Principles: Word of Wisdom and Word of Knowledge Spiritual gifts go beyond personality, talent, and natural ability. 1. The words of wisdom and knowledge go beyond the surface. 2. They are effective Kingdom tools. 3. They are used for encouragement and correction of the believer 4. Are you open and willing? A Vessel or a recipient? "Most of you have been a recipient of God’s gifts- however we missed giving credit to where it truly came from, God." The fruit of wisdom is transformation. The fruit of knowldedge is clarity and transformation. If I Won the Lottery: Flip Your If | February 08, 2026
Pastor Andy Cass Before the big game, it all comes down to a coin flip—heads or tails, winner or loser. In life, we do the same thing more than we realize. We flip coins, pull straws, roll the dice, and leave decisions up to luck. But what if faith was never meant to be left to chance? TEXT: John 4:4–15, Genesis 28:12–15, 20–22, Matthew 27:35, Malachi 3:10, 2 Chronicles 16:9 NOTES: -The Problem: Too often, we leave our faith, generosity, and obedience up to luck. -The Plan:Put down the coin. Lower the first bucket. Give to Jesus strategically, in obedience, by the first-things principle. “Will you give me a drink?” - Jesus 4 Key Words: -Power- Even exhausted, Jesus is more capable than we are at full strength. Giving first is alignment, not depletion -Opportunity- If Jesus had not asked her for water, she might never have received what He came to give. The ask opens the door to transformation. The tithe isn’t a loss—it’s an opportunity for overflow -Trust- Will I trust myself, or will I trust God? Water was secondary; willingness was the goal -Possessions- Jesus asked the Samaritan Woman for possibly the only thing she could give. Water! A woman marked by reputation. Limited. Overlooked. Empty-handed by the world’s standards. And yet, Jesus started with what was in her hand. Big Question: Will you flip your if—or will you trust God with your first? There is More: For you | February 01, 2026
Pastor Christy Cass In this message, There Is More — For You, invites us into a moment of permission, not pressure. A reminder that God’s dream for your life is bigger than what you’ve settled for and that the enemy’s greatest lie is convincing you that this is all there is. TEXT: Ephesians 3:20, Habakkuk 1:2–5, Habakkuk 2:1–3, Habakkuk 3:2, 18–19, 1 Corinthians 2:9, Ephesians 2:10 NOTES: There is more peace. There is more purpose. There is more freedom. There is more faith than fear. Wrestling with God is not walking away — it’s staying engaged God is working even when you can’t see it You can’t receive new vision while holding on to old perspective If God says it, He will back it up When you realize there is more for you, you begin to want more for others. That’s why we serve. That’s why we give. That’s why we show up. If I Won the Lottery: Permission to Ask | January 25, 2026
Pastor Andy Cass "Neediness" is by design. Jesus teaches us that our neediness is not a flaw—it’s an invitation. We are invited to ask, to knock, and to trust that God gives good gifts to His children. TEXT: Luke 11:5–13, James 1:5, James 4:6, James 5:16, James 2:16 NOTES: -God is a Giver, and Satan is a Taker. -God gives permission to ask, and Satan takes your confidence in asking God by whispering, “You’re annoying. You’re too needy. You’re too much.” OR God gives permission to ask, and Satan takes your humility and replaces it with pride by shouting, “You deserve it. You don’t have as much as they do. What’s wrong with God?” ART OF ASKING // According to the Book of James -Permission — James -Posture — James 4:6 -Person of Good Reputation — James 5:16 -Pay It Forward — James 2:16 Action Step: Permission to ask, so ask way The Problem: We forget that we are designed to be needy, or at other times we are just too whiny about what we don’t have. The Plan: Ask in order to give, appreciate what you receive, and become more like God the Giver. If I Won the Lottery: Patch the Pitcher | January 18, 2026
Pastor Andy Cass In this message from the If I Won the Lottery… series, we confront the lie of scarcity and discover a better way forward. Jesus reframes losing, finding, and generosity through three powerful stories — a lost sheep, a lost coin, and a lost son. God is a giver, which makes us winners — but distraction, waste, and isolation can cause us to live like we’re losing. TEXT: Luke 15:3–12, Ephesians 2:10, Joel 2:25, John 10:10, Hebrews 10:24–25 NOTES: Big Idea: Patch the Pitcher and Pour out the first 10% God gives purpose — Satan takes purpose and replaces it with distraction. God gives restoration — Satan takes what is broken and exploits it. God gives community — Satan takes community and isolates. If I Won the Lottery: God is a Giver | January 11, 2026
Pastor Andy Cass Blessing in the Kingdom is never the finish line; it’s the starting point. The question isn’t if God has given, but how we will respond. Will we live like winners who steward what God has entrusted, or like takers who believe the lie that there’s never enough? TEXT: Luke 19:1–5, 8–13; Luke 12:48, Matthew 4:8–10 NOTES: Zacchaeus encounters Jesus and responds with generosity and restoration. Blessing is not luck, success, or entitlement—it is responsibility. If God is a giver, then we are His servants. God gives; Satan takes. -God gives truth, Satan takes truth and replaces it with lies -God gives abundance, Satan takes contentment and creates scarcity -God gives unconditionally, Satan is transactional Stay Connected: Give: https://theecho.churchcenter.com/giving Online Service: Sundays 9 AM (YouTube & Facebook Live) Connect: https://theecho.churchcenter.com/people/forms/113001 Instagram: @wearetheechochurch #EchoChurch #ChristianSermon #FaithGrowth #BibleTeaching

TEXT: Mark 1:35–38, Ephesians 1:18, Acts 9:17–18, 2 Kings 6:16–17, Mark 2:18–20 NOTES: The Problem: We have limited patience and limited perspective. -Wake Up -Stay & Pray -Prayer Brings Perspective Why Pray & Fast? -To clear the board. -To remove cluttered perspective. -To say no to what you know so you can say yes to what you don’t yet see. Pastor Andy Cass and a conversation with Chelsea Reynolds God brought the good news close. Not to kings. Not to priests. Not to the powerful. But to shepherds, ordinary people doing ordinary work in the middle of the night. TEXT: Luke 2:15–20 NOTES: Big Question: What are you selling?
