The Seattle Seawolves played their most dynamic match of the season showing themselves to truly be the best team in Major League Rugby, overcoming perennial favorite Glendale Raptors 23-19 to claim the America’s Championship Shield.

The Major League Rugby semis, though predictable in their outcome, were, none-the-less EPIC. Two fantastic contests pitted San Diego Legion against Seattle Seawolves and later Glendale Raptors faced Utah Warriors. The guys revisit the weekend of action plus big news flew in from the coast on Sunday.

This week in Major League Rugby action, Utah Warriors secured their place in the playoffs by defeating the Houston Sabercats, while San Diego Legion sheared the wings off the Glendale Raptors on Saturday night.

The Glendale Raptors proved they’re #1 in the league with a win over Seattle, and the USA Eagles notch a great victory over Scotland. Aaron recounts his time in Houston, closing a bar down, singing Oh Flower of Scotland and trying to locate Greg Laidlaw.

We're in week 8 of Major League Rugby action and there has been another shift in the standings. The Raptors find themselves back on top following a bonus point win over the SaberCats. Currently only Houston have no chances to make the playoffs due to their six losses. But somehow, NOLA gold still has a shot provided they win and everyone else but Austin has bad days at the office. San Diego moves back into playoff contention after their defeat of New Orleans but will face a hungry Austin team next weekend that currently sits third in the Standings. Utah having moved out of the top 4 during their bye week also controls their own destiny.

In week 7 of Major League Rugby we've seen Austin defending their home ground against Utah to remain undefeated in Round Rock. Zin Zan Elan-Puttick had a great performance from fullback with two tries. All that plus news, views, abuse and lots of match coverage.
