EHave something to sell, but no one to sell it to? Then sit back, grab a notepad, and crank up the volume for this episode of Dropping Bombs. Today, you'll hear Brad talk with Jon Nestorovic, the lead generating, internet marketing ninja at Auto Lead Kings. Specifically, about how easy it is to get an abundance of qualified leads… just as soon as you get out of your own head. Here are some highlights: The biggest challenge for businesses is taking imperfect action online. That's because perfection kills progress. Accept that you'll never get it perfect the first time, learn from your mistakes, and just get it done. You need traffic to turn on your lights, and you should expect to pay for it. Stop depending on organic searches to drive customers to your door. There is no such thing as fast, free traffic in the beginning. It takes MONTHS to rank, maybe years if you're in a competitive space. The best return on investment isn't better quality leads, it's training the people who pick up the phone and call that lead to close the deal. About Jon Nestorovic Jon Nestorovic founded Auto Lead Kings, a group of automotive lead generation experts who have perfected the pay-per-lead model that offers an unbeatable ROI to dealerships. ES2 Ep 120Guest: Jay Doran. Start thinking! Episode 120 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EJay Doran's second appearance on Dropping Bombs is even more explosive than his first (one of the top episodes to date!). Jay and Brad have a certain alignment in their core values and their mission, but that doesn't mean they always agree. Here are some of the nuggets you will hear on today's episode: At this moment in history, thanks to major developments in technology, the spoken word is more powerful than the written word. Everyone in the world has the power to teach and educate, the power to spread the knowledge. The goal is to get the knowledge from the people who have it to the people who need it. Be selfishly selfless and read, write and speak daily with an attitude of openness, curiosity and observation. Execute on that and tell people your truth. How do we eliminate conflict? Over time, with the evolution of social consciousness, people will think more which, in turn, will increase their love and acceptance of each other. You are a filter between what is not yet, what can be and what you manifest through your word, thought, ideation, belief, action, reaction, habituation and alignment of other individuals. Read a book (or listen to an audiobook), any book and write down everything you disagree or agree with in that book - you will come out being a better person in the end. Culture Matters helps executives bring out and define their knowledge and share it with their company, now Jay Doran wants to talk to you. The purpose of Jay's company is to help people uncover their genius, their vision is to live in a world where every man, woman and child takes responsibility to read, write and speak every day. Jay thinks that each and every person has something to say, so he encourages you to start today and write down your thoughts about this episode (whether you agree or disagree) and send them to Jay Doran on Facebook or Instagram and he will have a conversation with you. Don't forget to share this episode!
S2 Ep 119Bomb of the Year. Episode 119 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EFor the 119th episode of Dropping Bombs, Brad sits down solo to talk directly with the Bomb Squad about a timely issue right before New Year's resolution time: Start liking—and believing in—yourself. Today. Want a taste? "Too many people don't know what they believe it, what they'll go to war for, what they'll die for. All they do is parrot someone else's ideas. You need to figure out who you are, throw your own thoughts down, and figure out what YOU stand for." True happiness doesn't lie in a nice car or a yacht. It lies in reaching your potential. But, to do that, you need to understand what you value and what it is you're capable of achieving. So, go ahead, press play, and think about what YOU are capable of achieving starting today.
S2 Ep 118Guest: Steve Sims. Get Back Up. Episode 118 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
ESteve Sims, Founder of The Bluefish luxury concierge company, returns for the 118th episode of Dropping Bombs. Over a bomb-packed episode, Brad and Steve talk about how to stop over-complicating shit. Here are some highlights: Why can't people understand authenticity? You're either who you are or you're not. Everyone's wearing too many shields, it's the emperor's clothes all over again. Don't change the way you treat people; change the people you treat. There are so many kind people who get screwed and wind up bitter. Instead, continue to be kind and stick around people who appreciate you. How to teach your kids strength of character. You see someone in a 5K suit, expensive watch and, financed car--all the landmarks of a successful person--but they don't open the door for someone. You've got to trust your gut when evaluating others. Money isn't the best currency, relationships and value are. Audit your inner circle. Stick with the people who will stick with you. On the flip side, you need good friends who challenge you—in a GOOD way. Never follow the herd. No one who's done anything fantastic has done so by following others. At the end of the day, you only do the stuff you work on so that you can spend more time doing what you love to do. Make hay while the sun shines, but don't forget to spend time doing what you love. S2 Ep 117Guest: Casey Adams. Don't Compete. Collaborate. Episode 117 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EFor the 117th episode of Dropping Bombs, Brad sits down with 18-year-old entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Build Your Empire, Casey Adams. Build Your Empire goes further than your average mastermind group. Instead of meet-ups, members can actually move into the Build Your Empire house where they'll be given all the resources any up and coming entrepreneur needs to succeed! By providing an educational platform, bringing mentors to the table, and keeping members motivated 24/7, Build Your Empire inspires members to invest in themselves while creating a cult-like brand. Since both Casey Adams and Brad are all about getting knowledge from the people who have it, to the people who need it so we can live in a more successful world, you know there's going to be some serious bombs dropped! Here are the highlights: Patience isn't a good thing to have. It's bullsh*t and you don't want it in your life. Ask yourself, "How can I prove myself and be different from the other people in this space?" If you want to teach someone correctly, you need to start with good content. Then, you need to repeat and practice until you learn it, then you can teach it. The difference between training and going to an event, is the difference between making $1000 and $100-million. Stop looking for someone to recognize your status. Invest in yourself, become better than you are, and you'll get recognition. Understanding your audience is important, because putting out content that you believe in AND resonates with them in a genuine way is the key to growing your brand following. Want to learn more about Casey? You can follow him on Instagram @CaseyAdams1 or @BuildYourEmpire. And, don't forget to follow Casey's podcast, The Rise of the Young!

EFor the 116th episode of Dropping Bombs, Brad Lea sits down with Tyler the Hypnotist to discuss reality, your mind, and the incredible power behind it. Over an hour, Brad and Tyler explore challenge each other's ideas and comfort zones in the name of growth. Here are some highlights: Quit having opinions on shit you don't know about. Confidence should be internal. Don't let external things dictate the quality of your life. You should feel obligated to achieve financial stability to grow and achieve your own potential. If you aren't true to yourself, you're building a false foundation. Seek discomfort, seek rejection, and you will grow.
S2 Ep 115Guest: Wyatt McClure. Never Give Up. Episode 115 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
ECheck out this special edition of Dropping Bombs! Brad sits down with Wyatt McClure. At a whopping 10-years old, Wyatt has already landed a prominent role as Billy Sparks on CBS's Young Sheldon—a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. While 10 might seem pretty young to start enjoying success, Wyatt shares that it wasn't always an easy road to arrive where he is now. Over the five years since he's been auditioning, Wyatt McClure has experienced his fair share of rejections--something he has in common with every entrepreneur. You'll be surprised at the number of bombs dropped in this one! Here are additional highlights of Episode 115: How do deal with disappointment: "I don't think about it. If you get the bad stuff out of your head and keep the good, your life will be great." On giving up: "Never quit. If you can put all your work into it, eventually, you'll get it." On the importance of making friends: "If you don't socialize enough when you're young, you won't be able to stick up for yourself at all when you're older." On reaching your goals: "If you want to achieve it, work hard. If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself. Don't work for somebody else. They'll take all the credit for your hard work!"
S2 Ep 114Guest: Nick Long. The Entrepreneur Whisperer. Episode 114 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EIs there anything about your life you'd like to change? Then plug in your headphones and shut off any distractions, because today Brad Lea sits down with Nick Long; entrepreneur, business leader, and CEO of MediaMix365. Nick is known as the "entrepreneur whisperer" for his success in helping men gain clarity and live a life in four-dimension. That means taking care of your physical body, your relationships, your bank accounts, and your overall being. Nick calls this approach the "Four B's": Body, Being, Balance, and Business. In this episode of Dropping Bombs, Brad and Nick talk about the importance of consciously touching on each of those four areas daily. That means asking yourself, "What did I do for my body, my being, my life balance, and my business?" each and every day. Here are a few highlights: You are your own guru. You're the greatest solution you've ever had access to. Your money is a reflection of the value you place on yourself. It's the measuring stick for self-worth. No one WITH money says money doesn't buy happiness, it's only the people without it. Stop whining that money won't do what you want and start figuring out how to get some. Why watch everyone else's life? Why not create a life that deserves to be watched? Anxiety occurs when there's a disconnect between your heart and your mind. Make an effort -- through journaling or meditation.Comparing your life to someone else is a joy-killer. You will ruin all the happiness in your own life when you start comparing it to someone else's. It takes 28 days to start or stop a habit, but you don't see those results right away -- you need to stay committed. Give your all to something for 90 days and you're guaranteed to see results. S2 Ep 113Guest: Ryan Milton. Get the Fat Off. Episode 113 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EFor the 113th episode of Dropping Bombs, Brad Lea sits down to chat fitness with Ryan Milton of TeamFFLEX. Ryan has eight years of personal training experience under his belt, and now draws from his expertise to offer online coaching to fitness clients all over the world. While he's still talking shop, today Ryan took a break from his main mission to try and drop a record-breaking number of bombs. Here are the highlights: Not taking care of yourself might lose you more than self-esteem. You can lose out on opportunities, job offers, and the girl or guy of your dreams because they can spot your lack of discipline from a mile away. Fitness isn't just about looking great, it's about confidence. It's about what you can achieve when you believe in yourself. So, ask yourself, what are you robbing the world of by not going after your goals? No one is perfect the first time around. Take a chance, solve your problems, then make adjustments. If you are fat, it's because you're making bad choices. Stop rationalizing. Stop eating until you're full. Stop making excuses. Start producing results. Put forth your best appearance. If someone is judging you BEFORE I meet you, you have less of a chance of getting what you're looking for in life--whether that's a mate, a job, or an opportunity. Are you interested in the convenience of online coaching to help you reach your fitness goals? Check out TeamFFLEX at www.functionalflex.com or follow Ryan Milton @TeamFFlex on Instagram to see his client's results!

If you don't do it, no one's gonna do it for you. The definition of "making it" is highly personal to each person who wants to achieve it. Think money can't bring happiness? People have a skewed perspective on finances, that's why they're broke. Money can be spiritual. If you're fulfilled at a higher level because you can give to others, then that's success. Knowledge is the way to confidence. The more knowledge you have, the more empowered you are to overcome your own objections and fears. Are you an entrepreneur interested in tactics to achieve greater success? Don't miss this episode that's packed with tips to take your business to a higher level!

EWhat can businesses learn from the grassroots marketing efforts used to promote political campaigns? In the 109th episode of Dropping Bombs, that's exactly what Brad will explore with guest Phillip Stutts. Here are a few highlights of today's episode: Is what's wrong with our current political system something that can be fixed? And, if so, who's best to do the fixing? #BradLea2028! Hundreds of CEOs shared their frustrations, and Phillip found a solution to their problem: Marketing that's all tactics and no strategy makes for poor ROI. EVERYTHING is about personal relationships and strategy. That means, our marketing plan isn't just paid activity. It's everything from the way your staff communicates to your customers and clients. It's how your brand is represented from the top, down. Bottom line: If you master marketing, you'll never be broke. And, if you're not quite there yet, Phillip Stutts is offering the Bomb Squad a FREE, 5-minute marketing audit that can help you grow your business by up to 50%! S2 Ep 108Guest: Fam Mirza. Fail Faster, Scale Faster. Episode 108 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EFor the 108th episode of Dropping Bombs, Brad Lea is joined by Fam Mizra. Fam is a serial entrepreneur determined to create businesses that give back. Most recently, he founded a smash-hit with the startup 1:Face — a philanthropic watch brand that allows customers to make a difference by giving a whopping 50% of each purchase to the charity of your choice. Today on Dropping Bombs, Brad and Fam talk about building brands that change lives. Here are a few highlights: You're SURROUNDED by opportunities! In the middle ages, the average person only met 100 people in their lifetime. Now, a photo can get liked by 20,000 people and a status update can change the world. Don't mistake activity with progress. You can't go from watching motivational videos to Netflix n' chill and expect to accomplish anything. The average human lives 26,000 days. You have to use that time correctly. The lessons learned in your life will come from your failures, not your successes. Give yourself that hour when you wake up in the morning, it'll change your life. Yoga, meditation, a gratitude journal. Unplug from your phone. The first hour of your day determines your day. Use that time to create a positive loop for yourself. Focus on the thoughts that should be a priority Not only have both Brad and Fam demonstrated what their businesses can do to give back, but they both also excel at teaching others how to succeed. You don't want to miss this bomb-filled episode!
S2 Ep 107Guest: Jay Adkins. Let's Get Real. Episode 107 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EFor the 107th episode of Dropping Bombs Podcast, Brad sits down with Jay Adkins. As one of six coaches at Agency Sales Academy, Jay helps train insurance agencies on how they can generate more revenue. Today, he and Brad go beyond talking money to identify different measurements of success: How do we break down the walls we've built up over the years? Being honest, open, and vulnerable inspires trust. By doing so, you're showing people that you care. On the flip side, it's important to have the confidence to show people who you really are! Remember, they'll judge you no matter what. It's your job to open your mouth and prove them different. Relationships are the new economy. Your relationships build trust and create new opportunities. Think of all the opportunities you miss by NOT being open. Finally, know that you can ALWAYS get better. Always be learning! Train every day. Improve every day — even if it's just 1%, always be better than yesterday. Remember, if you want the results, you have to be willing to endure the struggle to get there. How does Jay Adkins out-do yesterday? He trains his team EVERY DAY using a mix of the LightSpeed VT platform and weekly live calls. "My team income up 48%. My production is up 62% over ANY OTHER YEAR," says Jay. Brad's response? "I just gave you the scalpel. You're the one wielding it in a way that's creating success." S2 Ep 106Guest: Sean V. Bradley. See. Do. Get. Episode 106 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL).
EFor the 106th episode of Dropping Bombs podcast, Brad sits down with Sean V. Bradley to chat about what it really takes to make it. Here are a few highlights: Relationships are the new economy. You have to be able to build trust. If you get someone else to see your vision, believe in your vision, then you get to recruit allies without having to spend any money. The biggest advantage you can have when faced with obstacles is your mindset. The skills and tools required to get there are only half the battle. If you believe the world is against you, have a victim mindset, or that you don't have what it takes to be successful, you won't be. You have to BELIEVE that you can do something to achieve it. If you're surrounded by individuals who perpetuate a poor mindset, that culture is ingrained in your mindset, you have to put effort into shifting your perspective before you can achieve success. Want to hear more of Sean's advice? S2 Ep 105From Resources to Relationships. Episode 105 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Mike Calhoun
EMike Calhoun is the CEO and Founder at Board of Advisors, a private, closed-door mastermind with a select group of the nation's most disruptive business owners, real estate investors, technology providers, and marketers. While Mike assembles members from all four corners of the globe to complete powerful meetings each quarter, today he met up with Brad to talk about the importance of carefully cultivating your network, and what happens when a grade-A group is paired with talented leadership. A few highlights from their chat include: At Board of Advisors, our success is a direct result of focus. A lot of people like to diversify. But we set out to be the top mastermind group on earth. Think of what you want to be, and program yourself. Then your team, then your members. One day, someone decides that phrase you keep saying should be on a pen, mug, or t-shirt. Eventually, that phrase is what you become. Start intertwining yourself with the individuals who can get you where you want to be. You become the mirror of those you surround yourself with. When you're not sharp, someone else is. Treat every meeting like you're one introduction away from the person who can help change your life. On the flip side, when you get to a certain level, you need to invest in the people around you. Bring them into the fold. By helping them to improve, you're leveling up your immediate network in a way that pays off over the long term. Leadership is about integrity. If you say something, you have to do it. You have to follow through. Learning to be a leader will carve against you while you're doing it -- but it makes you better, stronger, and more successful over time. The Q4 Board of Advisors Mastermind is October 29th - November 2nd. Quarterly Board of Advisor's events are only for official members and privileged guests. However, if you think you'd be a good fit, fill out the interview form at www.boardofadvisors.com and they'll give you a call!

ECarl Scaramuzza, otherwise known as Credit Carl, is with Credit Blueprint. Carl sits down with Brad Lea to talk about the difference between credit repair and credit enhancement. Here are a few highlights from their chat: If your payments are bigger than what you can afford, you don't have a credit problem -- you have a spending problem. There's a difference between circumstantial bad credit and habitual abusers of their credit line. The secret to becoming wealthy is leveraging a bank's wealth. You have all the opportunity, while they take all the risk. How can you mirror Carl Scaramuzza's credit success? Head to Creditcockyonline.com and check out his four-part course that helps position your credit in a way that can help build wealth for YOU -- not the bank. EToday Brad Lea is joined by Naveen Jain, a notable entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a rich history of building successful, socially-conscious companies. Naveen is the founder of Moon Express, inome, Intelius, TalentWise, World Innovation Institute, Infospace, and now Viome Gut Testing. Despite his wealth and numerous accomplishments, Naveen still speaks about his humble background and states that the credit for this successes is not his alone — but belongs to the many people who helped him along his way. Throughout this hour podcast, Brad and Naveen dive into a mutual passion: Solving challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship. Here are a few of the topics they discussed: Why it's important to focus on innovations that improve the lives of others. "I don't want to make money, I want to solve problems," Naveen says."I am focused on how to give back because so many people helped me get to where I am today. But, those who helped me don't need my help. So, the best that I can do is to pay it forward." Philanthropy isn't about giving money, it's about solving problems. I want to solve problems that, if we are successful, would improve the lives of millions. The best thing you can ever do in your life is NOT to become an expert in the things that you're doing. The day you become an expert in a field is the day you become useless in that field — all you can make at that point are incremental improvements. If you really want to change something ten-times over, you have to revisit, rethink, and reinvent the foundation of the field that its experts have taken for granted. The biggest strength you have is when you start something and admit you know nothing. How can you mirror Naveen Jain's success? Stay focused on your mission, not the money! Naveen is staying focused with his newest project, Viome. Viome aims to take on chronic disease, not with medicine but by providing customers with tailored dietary recommendations based on a submitted sample of that individual's gut bacteria. Just for the Bomb Squad, Naveen is offering a discount on Viome! Head to www.viome.com/friendofnaveen and get your kit and personal digestive health assessment today! S2 Ep 102None Of This Is Guesswork. Episode 102 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Patch Baker
EIn episode 102 of Dropping Bombs, Brad Lea sits down with Patch Baker of Mobius Media Solutions. Patch Baker has been an entrepreneur since his early 20's. The Marine Corps Combat Veteran has built and sold five companies with a talent for expanding and diversifying client sourcing and revenue streams. Throughout his career, his true passion has always been about the "build" and the "chase" of the next major milestone of growth. To entrepreneurs and business owners seeking out expert assistance, Patch has a message: "If you're telling a consultant what to do, you're doing it wrong. People will pay you to help them, then they want to tell you what to do. When's the last time that you hired a lawyer, then told them how to argue your case?" Want to hear more of Patch's no-nonsense advice? Don't miss this episode of Dropping Bombs! Highlights of what was discussed include: Stop telling people to buy your shit. No one is going to buy. You need to build a RELATIONSHIP with people before you ask them to give you their business. Give away knowledge to build value in what you're talking about. If you're doing that and doing it well, people will listen when you offer your services. If your product is bad, there's nothing advertising can do to build your business! Before you worry about getting attention, worry about what you're going to do when you get the attention. Too many people think about marketing; think about what you're delivering to keep customers coming back. If Facebook isn't working for you, you're doing it wrong. "None of this is guesswork," states Patch. "It's important to get the right message to the right person at the right time." If you're a Veteran interested in working with Mobius Media Solutions, visit their website or Instagram to learn more.

It's important to invest in yourself, and get around the big players. Proximity to power. The power of relatability. If someone can see themselves in your situation--whether struggles or success--you have the ability to change lives. Embrace your difficulties and share how you overcame them. The more struggle you go through, the more prepared you are to meet the next set of challenges you'll encounter. To be a successful entrepreneur, you have to change perspective. Too many entrepreneurs aren't willing to put themselves in someone else's shoes. Ask questions, perform surveys, understand someone else's problems before you try to solve them. Most people miss opportunities because they're disguised as a risk. Do you want to succeed at those opportunities? Make good choices and you'll get there. Remember, the desire in your heart has to change. If you don't sacrifice for what you want, what you want becomes the sacrifice. EBrad Lea sits down with Brad Martineau in the 99th episode of Dropping Bombs. Martineau is the founder of Sixth Division, an agency laser-focused on helping brands grow and scale with marketing automation. That passion for process comes from Martineau's 7+ years leading the Product Development team at Infusionsoft. In today's Dropping Bombs, Martineau shares some valuable insights to help make sure your team never leaves a lead unfollowed, including: Why tools should never precede strategy. Buying a new tool isn't a be-all-end-all fix, especially if it doesn't communicate with your other automations to create a cohesive process. Per Martineau, "If you just do automation for the sake of automation, it's soul-sucking." How automation is about the experience—both for your leads and existing clients, as well as your internal team. The experience you deliver is the single greatest leverage point you have to grow and scale your business. Why "journeys" are greater than funnels. Journeys organize your process and create consistency in the way people move through your business so that they have a cohesive experience. How marketing automation can maximize your capacity. By taking care of tasks that consume your staff's bandwidth, you can create a better experience for a greater number of people without needing to hire a small army. S2 Ep 98Under Promise, Over Deliver. Episode 98 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Jasmine Star
EMarketing strategist and creative hustler Jasmine Star dropped out of law school 13 years ago to pick up a camera and follow her dreams. Now known for her award-winning photography and legendary Instagram presence, Jasmine joins Brad Lea to share some of what she learned along the way. Here's a taste of what they covered... On owning social media: Leverage whatever is popular in the now. Blogging, twitter, facebook. Whatever the next iteration is, get there because it's free to use, the land is cheap, and you can build a resort on it. Swapping like-for-like makes social media a transaction instead of a conversation. Instead, look at it like a great, big cocktail party—and only you get to decide how much fun you have. Curate your feed in a way that feeds you. On starting your dream business: We all suck when you first start doing something! What people see today is 13 years as a hustling entrepreneur who had to teach herself everything. Don't compare my 13 years of experience with your two years. Two years in, you're not going to be driving a hot car and invited to the big parties. It takes time to be great. When we do the same thing over and over, we run the risk of having it become rote. Stop defining your possibilities by your current role. You won't grow by staying comfortable. What is your value proposition, what makes you different, and how can you use it to help others? At the end of the day, it's your job to create different iterations of your business that keep you inspired, but also give you the ability to impact lives. Working harder doesn't always guarantee. You need to have a strategy. What got you here won't get you there. You need to step back and ask yourself "What isn't working?" On following your dreams: There was a time in my career where I had nothing, I was nothing, I owned nothing. I couldn't come from any other place than sheer authenticity. And, somewhere in the middle of my career when the awards and accolades starting coming in, I thought I had to be somebody that I wasn't, and people can smell it. Be authentic, be yourself. Because you'll repel the people who shouldn't be around you and attract the ones who should. My number-one attribute is resiliency. I Spent most of my life never being cool enough, smart enough, fast enough, or skinny enough. But I was the person who kept working hard. Want to learn how to curate your own party like Jasmine? S2 Ep 97Stop Motivating, Start Activating. Episode 97 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Steve Sims
EMeet Steve Sims, the modern-day Wizard of Oz. Steve is the founder and owner of The Bluefish, an international, luxury concierge company that's known for arranging anything their client's desire. Bluefish provides the impossible. We're talking the highest level of personalized travel, transportation, and cutting-edge entertainment services to corporate executives, celebrities, professional athletes, and other discerning individuals interested in living life to its fullest. Sure, Blueish service has some limitations. Says Steve, "I won't work with anyone I don't get along with, and I won't arrange something that I don't agree with. (Heads out of the gutter, kids.) With that in mind, when we say "anything," we pretty much mean it! Here are just a few of the experiences Bluefish has arranged: Married in the Vatican, officiated by the Pope Down to the Titanic Flying a supersonic jet in Russia Met the rock band Journey. (Steve thought that was too lame, so Bluefish put him on stage and he sang four songs with the band as well.) Guitar lessons with ZZ Top Drum lessons with Guns n' Roses Piano lessons with Elton John In this episode of Dropping Bombs, Steve sits down with Brad to talk about being a "connector"--the type of person who can bring network with the best of them--and how to monetize that networking skill. Here are just a few of the insights they shared: If you want to earn money, you've got to be able to talk to people with money. To negotiate with them. The easiest way to piss off anyone in power is to put a price on their time. Instead, I try to get them involved in the passion of it, why they should be interested. How important it is to get out of your comfort zone and ask. People aren't scared of failing; they're scared of others seeing them fail. But, how can you get something remarkable done if you're too afraid to ask? Know HOW to ask. If you pose a yes/ no question, you'll most likely hear a "No!" Instead of asking, "Can I get in?" Ask, "What's got to happen for me to get in here?" and you're far more likely to get your foot in the door. Be conversational when you're asking. Make sure you're conversational and enjoyable to talk to. After all, no one's ever going to help an a**hole. Always wear your suit when you might run into the Pope. What value is money if you can't spend it? Money is there to give you better cocktail stories. If you get a "No," you're asking the wrong person or the wrong question. So, how does Steve Sims open the doors for so many unbelievable moments? "If you're spending time worrying about how impossible something is, you'll never get it done. Instead, ask yourself, 'Why shouldn't I be throwing the opening pitch at a ball game or taking a selfie with my favorite band?'" "By asking 'Why not?'" Steve says, "you'll be AMAZED at what you can achieve. Want to learn how to open doors and make things happen to like Steve Sims? Check out his book, Bluefishing: The Art of Making Things Happen. Or head to www.stevedsims.com, where you can find "The Course." A steal at $297, Steve's course teaches you how to communicate effectively and ask questions without hearing the word "No."
S2 Ep 96Get Out and Do Something. Episode 96 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Phares Martin
E"Somewhere down the line, people heard that you only have to work eight hours a day. For an entrepreneur, that's just not true. Eight hours into my day is just gettings started." Phares Martin knows a thing or two about hard work. Growing up in the Mennonite church, he started chores as soon as he could walk, working on the farm, and even lived without electricity. All that hard work taught Phares the value of, well, hard work. So, what gave Phares Martin the courage to risk debt and start his own business despite being cut off from family and friends after leaving the Mennonite church? "I'd rather take a risk for myself than work for someone else." 💣 People overthink when they want to start a business. Just get two or three people and get started. Once you get started, you figure it out. Getting started is the most important thing. 💣 Learning is something that you never really stop doing. 💣 Half of something is better than all of nothing. 💣 Too many people are more worried about what someone else is doing on Facebook or Instagram than getting some work in. 💣 The most important thing in business is to do what you say you're going to do, and keep people updates as you go.

S2 Ep 93Imperium. Episode 94 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Cole Hatter
EEntrepreneur, investor, and award-winning speaker Cole Hatter is the guest for our 94th episode of the Dropping Bombs Podcast. Brad chatted with Cole about a wide range of topics related to making your money matter. Cole knows a thing or two about building 'for purpose' businesses that build more than his bank account—Cole and his wife have founded an orphanage in Mexico and have worked with other philanthropic organizations around the world. Brad and Cole talked about: Why happiness depends on making your money matter--not just making money. How you can live your dream life guilt-free by sharing the abundance with others. That you can't help others if it takes your full-time effort to stay afloat. How to pursue wealth, not as a defining characteristic of who you are, but by what it allows you to do going forward. Why sales can be the foundation of all your success. You'll never find a come-up story that doesn't start with some sort of selling. Why it's important to ask yourself, "What do you want to solve in this world?" How, with the right knowledge, anyone can succeed. That influence matters. You might not be able to give a million dollars. But, if you can influence one million people to give one-dollar each, you can create the same amount of good. Brad also spoke with Cole about "Thrive: How to Build a 'For Purpose' Business," an event founded by Cole to help entrepreneurs do just that. Brad will be speaking at this year's Thrive event and invites all the members of the Bomb Squad to save 30% on their tickets by using the code TRBL at checkout.

"What do I do if someone's a great fit, but they don't have the talent for a certain position?" he asks Jamy. "Look," Jamy replies, "you're in the people business. Despite Evolve Pest Control sounding like an entry-level sales person's paradise, their turnover is hovering somewhere between sixty to seventy-percent. S2 Ep 88Two Surefire Ways To Double Your Income. Episode 88 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Gady Medrano.
EAt Dropping Bombs, we're big on the idea of MORE. Doing more, making more, giving more, achieving more. Listen long enough, and you're sure to hear Brad tell you his secret sauce how: Work your ass off doing double, or get twice as good at what you're doing now. "Let's say you're doing door-to-door sales," says Brad. "There are two ways you can earn more: Knock on twice as many doors. Or, improve your sales pitch you hear two-times as many yeses." Gady Medrano, a Las Vegas realtor who's skyrocketed to fame with the international-hit show Flipping Vegas, had something to add to Brad's more-equals-more wisdom: "For me, it's important to do make sure my effort is effective. Don't try to improve what you suck at. People get too down on themselves when they do something wrong. But you're always going to screw up." Instead, take inventory, suggests Gady. "What are you good at? Figure that out, then give it all you've got. If it feels like a challenge, you might be doing the right thing."
S2 Ep 87The Salesman vs. The Speaker. Episode 87 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Coach Burt.
E"Often I'd try to sell employee training, and a prospect would say 'No, we don't train.' But that same business will spend fifty-thousand advertising their product or service. That doesn't make sense," says Brad Why should those businesses consider even a small investment training employees to capitalize on new customers? "Because, if you're not training your employees, then your customers are." Coach Burt uses a different angle — for him, it's all in the follow-up. "Most people don't go the distance to understand their prospect. How you follow-up matters," he says. "Don't just say 'I'm checking in' or 'I'm following up.' Instead, say 'I believe we lose 10% every day that we don't take action' to drive your sale." Ready to learn more? Click play for an entire podcast dedicated to creating sales and inspiring action.
S2 Ep 86Move Forward by Giving Back. Episode 86 with The Real Brad Lea (TRBL). Guest: Shawn Porter & Nick Llewellyn.
EIBF welterweight titleholder from 2013 to 2014, Shawn Porter has spent his life training for "what if" moments. "What if I get hit? What if I forget to breathe? What if I get knocked down?" The mindset of being prepared for anything shaped Shawn's daily training for over two decades. Now that those efforts have paid off, he's looking to give back outside the ring. Enter Shawn's friend Nick Llewellyn. A US Marine and father, the frequency of school shootings left Nick feeling powerless to protect his daughter. Not one to sit around, Nick designed the BOLO Bag-- "BOLO" is shorthand for "be on the lookout." And, BOLO's backpacks help kids to just that. A versatile, lightweight design, BOLO Bags are also bulletproof. That bulletproof backpacks are can withstand bullets up to a 7.62 mm. (The round used in AK-47s and equivalent rifles.) "Is it ideal to think that we live in a world where we as parents have to prepare our children for an active shooter situation the same as a fire drill? No," explain Shawn and Nick. However, school shootings have become an unfortunate reality we face and need to prepare for. While this bag is hopefully never put to use, it's better to be prepared and not need; than need and not be prepared. For Nick and Shawn, the plan doesn't stop at just selling BOLO Bags. They also hope to raise awareness by speaking at schools across the country about bullying, mental health awareness, and the power of kindness. "Success is about giving back," says Shawn. So, how will you be successful today?

It's easier to rain on someone else's parade than make a parade of your own. Check out more in this episode of Dropping Bombs!

He says it's also important to not let whatever happened in your past dictate your future. With that mindset, it makes sense that Rondi started a business that perfects helping others overcome their difficult pasts as well: Fortress Credit Pro. Tune in to episode 84 of Dropping Bombs to hear tips on developing optimism, guaranteeing your work, and building a credit score that reflects your future potential — not your difficult past.
