This set leans into warm grooves, deep soul, and musical intention—house music that feels lived-in, emotional, and grounded. It’s not about chasing peaks; it’s about letting the music breathe, telling a story that unfolds naturally while people talk, listen, move, and connect. MIXED SESSIONS AT MARTHA’S – ELECTRONIC EDITION Last night’s Mixed Sessions at Martha’s was a deep dive into the stripped-down, tracky, electronic side of DJ Disciple’s sound. For two hours, the bakery transformed into a late-night lounge—hypnotic rhythms, driving basslines, sharp percussion, and layered synth patterns rolling nonstop from start to finish. This session wasn’t about vocals or big anthems—it was about movement: steady grooves, underground energy, and the kind of minimalist house that builds into a spiritual pulse. Disciple blended modern electronic textures with classic warehouse sensibilities, keeping the room locked in a steady, head-nodding flow. Perfect for fans of rolling beats, deep textures, and clean, focused club energy—this was Disciple in full electronic mode, showcasing another lane of his versatility while still maintaining the signature warmth that defines his sets at Martha’s.

On September 13, 2025, DJ Disciple recorded this Mixed Sessions set live at Martha’s Country Bakery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn—a venue that has quietly become one of the longest-running DJ residencies in New York City. While the sound here leans more electronic, commercial, and accessible than his soulful deep-cut reputation, this balance reflects Disciple’s lifelong approach: bridging underground credibility with global reach. What many don’t know is that Disciple’s Martha’s residency has lasted nearly a decade, outliving entire Brooklyn club cycles. He has transformed a bakery into a hub for local nightlife, culture, and house music education, spinning weekly for an audience that mixes neighborhood regulars with international visitors who seek out his sets. Few DJs in New York can claim to have consistently played through every generation of nightlife shifts—from bottle service Manhattan clubs, to underground Brooklyn warehouses, to community-driven spaces like Martha’s. This set captures that tension: accessible grooves for a wide audience, yet layered with Disciple’s history—a DJ who has played 275+ clubs across 40 countries, yet still centers Brooklyn as his home base. The commercial electronic edge here isn’t a compromise; it’s part of his ability to adapt, survive, and still deliver house in new forms, three decades into his career.

DJ Disciple Mixed Sessions July 11, 2025 by DJ Disciple(NYC)

🇺🇸 DJ Disciple – Mixed Sessions at Martha’s (July 4th Edition) 🔥🎧 Recorded live from Williamsburg, Brooklyn – July 4, 2025 As fireworks lit the skies over New York City, the real spark was on the inside—right here at Martha’s in Williamsburg. This July 4th Mixed Session is more than just another set—it’s a tribute to the soul of a city that never stops moving, dancing, or dreaming. For the past few years, Martha’s has been my safe haven, my lab, and my living room—where locals sip cappuccinos by day and nod their heads to underground grooves by night. It’s not your typical club, but that’s what makes it beautiful. No bottle service ego. No velvet rope politics. Just vibes, movement, and real energy shared between the DJ and the people. This mix captures the essence of that spirit. I reached deep into the crates and blended across eras and styles—Soulful, Deep, Afro-tinged grooves, with a few curveballs to keep the heads guessing. I’m talking extended transitions, emotional builds, moments of release and raw, unfiltered expression. Music that celebrates independence—not just of a country, but of thought, sound, and identity. You'll hear tracks from producers that deserve more shine, remixes that breathe new life into classics, and selections that channel my personal journey through this ever-changing house scene. This isn’t a copy-and-paste festival set. It’s a window into where I’ve been, what I’m feeling, and how I connect with the room in real time. There’s something magical about playing for a crowd that doesn’t expect anything but ends up getting everything. Tourists, locals, music lovers, random passersby—everyone finds a little piece of themselves in the music. That’s the Martha’s effect. And it keeps me inspired. 💬 If you were there, you know what this night felt like. If you weren’t, this mix is the next best thing. Whether you're BBQing on the stoop, driving with the windows down, or just zoning out at home, I hope this mix brings you joy, freedom, and a little dose of Brooklyn magic. 📍 Live from Martha’s Country Bakery – Williamsburg 📆 July 4, 2025 🎙️ DJ Disciple a.k.a.
