How to Survive a Slasher Movie
The audio which you are about to hear is an account of the tragedy which befell two podcasters on an ill-fated Atumtun's day. It is all the more tragic in that they were young. But, had they lived very, very long lives, they could not have expected nor would they have wished to see as much of the mad and macabre as they were to see that day. For them, an idyllic afternoon drive became a nightmare. The events of that day were to lead to the discovery of one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of Podcast History, The Second Annual Disaster Artists Spooktacular.Grab some official merch at https://www.teepublic.com/stores/disasterartistsJoin the conversation on Discord https://discord.gg/Vf4eaAaFollow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/DisasterArtistsSubscribe on youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPoo2pc6CLnIDXw7iNox6ng Hosted on Acast. IT, Derry, and The Deadlights
Derry, Maine is not like any town you've ever visited. People disappear six times the national average.... and that's just the grown-ups, kids are worse. This week Johnny and Shane face their fears at 29 Neibolt Street, walk through grey water, and try to kill that f**king clown."It" is a 1986 horror novel by American author Stephen King. It was his 22nd book and 18th novel written under his own name. The story follows the experiences of seven troubled children as they are terrorized by a cosmic entity that exploits the fears and phobias of its victims to disguise itself while hunting its prey. The book has won numerous awards and is commonly blamed for igniting the fear of clowns within popular culture.Long thought to be "unfilmable" the first half of the novel has recently been adapted for the screen to both critical and commercial success. Stephen King has authored 50+ Novels, 6 non-fiction books, and more than 200 short stories. He was awarded the National Medal of Arts by President Obama in 2014. Hosted on Acast. (Part Two) Fifty Ways The World Could End
We continue our discussion on the fifty ways the world might end.NOTE: This episode was recorded days before the Machester and Syria attacks, and so neither are mentioned in the discussion of terrorism at the beginning of the episode (08mins 04secs). We would have skipped the topic entirely had it happened before recording but being that the events unfolded the way they did, it would seem dishonest do just edit it out of the conversation. If you find the topic too depressing or are sick of hearing about it, skip to 19mins 16secs. SnakePocalypse
This week we tackle the most inevitable of apocalyptic scenarios, "What if snakes took over the world?" Would it spell the end of humanity as we know it? or would we be able to do like St. Patrick before us, and banish them into the fiery pits from which they sprang. The only thing that's certain, is we've had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking island!Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, known to have driven the snakes off the island. While not exactly true, it sure makes for an interesting scenario. We talk about it, the real Paddy, how to survive a snake bite, and much more, in this Saint Patrick's Day Special. You can now keep track of what we're up to, find out where to find us, or download episodes directly, from our new website: www.DisasterArtistsPodcast.com. Old Man Logan/Rogan?
Nobody knows what happened on the night the Internet fell. All we know is that podcasters disappeared with it, and evil triumphed. Johnny and Shane have a plan though: to deliver a package to a rebel group that might be able to restart the Internet and restore the power to the people. But to get there, they're going to need a little help... help from a legend, that maybe... still lives.Old Man Logan is an alternative version of the Marvel Comics' character Wolverine. This character is an aging version of Wolverine, living in an alternate future universe (designated as Earth-807128) where supervillains have overthrown the superheroes and evil reigns.
