Jay Rothman has been a professor, practitioner, and author in the field of conflict resolution for the past 30 years. In the course of his career, Jay has worked with diplomats, business executives, opposing leaders of embattled communities, union leaders, university leadership, school boards and superintendents, community activists, and students around the world. He has lectured and taught around the country and the world, including the University of Cincinnati and Antioch College in the U.S., and Hebrew University and Bar Ilan University in Israel. He is also the founder of the Aria Group, an independent firm focusing on conflict resolution, consultation, and training. In today's interview Jay provides detailed examples of his work with Israelis and Palestinians and also racially charged tensions regarding police conduct in Cincinnati.
