While rising the ranks in some of Australia’s best restaurants, Malcolm Meiers (Food + Wine, Food for Thought fundraiser) was struggling with anxiety and would unknowingly disconnect himself from friends and family. A lack of work/life balance lead to self-destructive behaviour until the day he decided to reach out and ask for help. It not only set him on a path to heal, but one that addressed the stigma and raise awareness about mental health in the hospitality sector too.
