Cacao is one of the most sought after and traded commodities on the planet and is mostly grown in third-world countries in tropical zones, but is consumed in large amounts in the first world in the form of Chocolate. After working in plantations in the South Pacific and connecting with growers, workers and chefs of the region leading chocolatier Jessica Pedemont (Chocolate Artisan and South Pacific Cacao) started a social enterprise dedicated to helping the people in the South Pacific through cacao and the impact is changing lives.
