After falling in love with cooking and the world of hospitality Jason Roberts rose the ranks quickly to become head chef of one of Sydney’s most important restaurants of its time Bistro Moncur. But just when the physical and mental stress began to burn him out, and opportunity to cook on television transformed his life and opened up to a whole new world – both in Australia and the US. After decades traversing the globe, the pandemic landed, and for the first time he found solace in a home base, and set about building a community, connecting through food and rebuilding who he is. With a new outlook he’s now focussed on evolving creatively, becoming limitless and feeding off the collective energy he puts out into the world.
