It has long had a reputation of being a boom or bust fishery but there are several operators who, by applying contemporary business strategies have found themselves at the leading edge of this exciting industry.
Pavo and Heidi Walker, of their eponymous Walker Seafoods Australia, own and operate one of the most dynamic and progressive fishing operations in Australia.
From their home port of Mooloolaba in South East Queensland they fish the East Coast of Australia for premium quality fish that will ultimately be served in some of the best restaurants in Sydney, Tokyo and New York
