Ep 1334The Santa Class (Hallmark Channel - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHPrettyLitter.com/DTH - 20% off your first order + a free toy Kate reluctantly works at her family's business, North Star, a year-round operation that trains Mall Santas nationwide. Despite its festive name, it’s a big commitment that's made her a bit grumpy about Christmas. When her dad decides to step away, Kate steps in, but the business is a mess. Her sister, Bailey, agrees to help her out.Her rival and top instructor, Dan, works for a different Santa school. This school wins the Christmas Cup every year. After Dan gets fired for making too much money, he approaches Kate—despite their awkward past (they once went on a date, or a "scheduled gathering," if you will). He wants to join forces and win the Christmas Cup. She can't say no to that. They carpool on the first day and have to screech to a halt when a Santa walks in front of them in the road. He's very confused. He doesn’t know his name or what he's doing. It’s at this point that they see Santa's reindeer and sleigh fly away. Is he the real deal?! They decide to bring him to the school so they can keep an eye on him. They get to the school, and Dan is immediately concerned. It's a real ragtag group: an older fellow who just wants to be Santa for his grandkids, a woman who wants to prove she can do anything she puts her mind to, a ventriloquist and his dummy, some actor named Paul Campbell, and then there’s Nick...who has a giant bowl of cookies and just downs some milk. The Santas begin to train, participating in obstacle courses and learning how to properly "ho-ho-ho." Santa Nick begins to have weird memory flashes whenever he touches someone but doesn’t know how to make heads or tails of it.The next test is a big one—they have to actually deal with kids at the mall, and it’s intense for all of them...except Santa Nick. He crushes it. He knows what all the kids want. But he also sees what Kate’s dad’s friend, Ned, wants—he wants to buy the school. So Kate has a conversation with him, and she’s strongly considering his offer. There’s a gift exchange, and Kate gives Dan a nice gift—a Christmas sweater that says he's the "Best Santa Trainer," so obviously, she’s into him. He asks her on a date, and she agrees. And what better way to go on a date than by crashing a Christmas party? They have an absolute blast together. They get kicked out, and that leads to them making out... The next morning, they make out some more... AY AY AY!!!!Word gets out to Kate’s sister and the other Santas that Nick is the real Santa. It's almost Christmas Eve, and Nick still hasn’t regained his memories. Kate decides to try something—she shows Nick his Santa sack. He begins to go through it, and he gets a reindeer whistle and calls for his sleigh to come back.Dan finds out that Kate is considering selling the school, and that bums him out. He assumes that also means she doesn’t see a future with him, so he decides it’s best if he just leaves. It's time for the Christmas Cup. It ends in a tie. It comes down to sudden death. First person to beat the obstacle course wins! They draw names, and it's Nick's turn to go. Just then, Nick’s wife shows up. Turns out his name is Kris, and she is Mrs. Claus! The whistle told her where he was. She reminds him who he is. He goes to do the obstacle course, and he's behind the whole time until they get to the chimney climb. Somehow, almost like magic, Nick/Kris appears at the top of the chimney and rings the bell. After the win, Kate decides not to sell the school. Santa gives her tickets to Paris and tells her that she still needs to live her life. Kate and Dan make up, and they kiss... They all head back to her place to celebrate, and the doorbell rings. She goes to answer it and finds a box. Inside is a whistle with a note that says, "If you ever need any help with the school, give me a call." However, he gives her a new phone with a bunch of fancy apps on it. She responds, “Nah, I’ve got my reliable flip phone right here, bud.”With no reason to stay in Chicago, she hops in her old van and heads home to Ed’s Christmas Tree Farm. It’s a family-run lot, and her parents are thrilled to have her back.Cut to New York City, where we meet two siblings who clearly don’t like each other and whose dad has just died. Their lawyer is reading the will, and one item in particular catches their attention: a board seat that will go to whichever sibling has a higher net worth at Christmas. He’s Archer, and she’s Piper. They didn’t have a normal childhood or normal Christmases, but they do have a picture of themselves in front of Ed’s Christmas Tree Lot.Back at the lot, Maggie’s best friend asks her to consider directing the Christmas play.Archer is staring at the picture and decides to search for the lot. He rents a cabin and heads to the lot. When he arrives, he tells Maggie’s mom he wants to get a tree for the first time as an adult. There’s still a lot to figure out, but she’s interested.Maggie’s dad gets on social media and talks about the app, which goes viral and causes Archer’s net worth to rise. When Piper finds out, she leaves with the kids.Archer has a heart-to-heart with Maggie, and the sparks are flying, but she gets a call from her old manager and considers going back to work with him. Archer thinks that’s a bad idea and tells her she’s better than that guy. It’s the night of the big Christmas play, and they’re going to live-stream it on the app. Piper shows up with the kids, and they make up and agree to sit on the board together.Just as the performance is about to start, the power goes out, but that’s nothing for some small-town charm. They manage to get the power back up, and the show is a hit. The kids sing, and then it’s Maggie’s turn. She crushes it, and the app loves her. After she gets off stage, Maggie makes up with Archer, and they share a kiss. Leah is blown away—it’s everything she’d hoped for.But then… Graham’s mom happens. She’s super serious, very intense about her schedule, doesn’t allow anyone to just rip open presents, and insists on fancy Christmas pajamas instead of fun ones. Don’t worry, I’m not moving. On Christmas Eve, Graham gives Leah… a gift basket. She’s like, Oh, this is… nice. Meanwhile, she’s gone all out, giving him a memory book filled with every single date they’ve ever been on.But then, a twist: Graham’s mom suddenly does a 180 and starts showering Leah with praise, calling her so wonderful. Even Julia apologizes for overstepping. Things are really turning around for Leah!Except… she can’t find Graham anywhere. She uses Find My Friends and sees he’s at the general store. When she gets there, she’s stunned to see her parents are there too. They all end up back at Graham’s family’s house, where Graham announces, I didn’t just get you a gift basket for Christmas—I also got you this. They are airing a marathon of their popular Sugarplummed series, and viewers can win a home decorated for Christmas!Cut to real life: Emily is a mom of a moody, artistic teenage girl named Nina and a TikToking teenage boy named Max. She’s married to Ben, an architect who never understands what his son is doing—ever.Emily is very type A, complete with her Christmas checklist. Her family doesn’t care for her checklist; they just want to do their own thing. Emily’s a hot-shot deal maker with an assistant who spends her days watching made-for-TV Christmas movies. Emily explains that these movies are dumb and all follow the same rules. She says, “Of course, I’d love for life to be like one of these movies, but it’s just not realistic.” Her assistant encourages her to live in the moment instead of focusing on her list, and maybe she’ll be surprised.Emily’s mom collected ornaments, so when she finds out that night that they were delivered from storage to her office, she runs to the office to grab them. The box breaks, and they all fall onto the floor, including a star that says, “Whatever wish you make, it’ll grant.” She looks up and sees one of those Sugarplummed movies on TV, so she wishes for a Sugarplum Christmas. Just then, the star begins to glow, and all the lights in the office start to flicker. Suddenly, Sugarplum magically appears in her office. Sugarplum is just as confused as Emily and asks Emily to help her get back to her town of Perfection. Emily, overwhelmed, says, “I’m going crazy!” and runs to leave. Sugarplum follows her, and they figure out that people can see Sugarplum but don’t recognize her as Sugarplum.Sugarplum is confused by the lack of snow and explains that snow is part of the rules! Emily is shocked and asks, “The rules are real?” Sugarplum replies, “I mean, it’s a book!” She pulls out the book and says, “It’s pretty clear that I’m here to help you with your perfect Christmas list, and after I do that, I’ll get back to my home!”The next day, Emily wakes up shocked to find that Sugarplum has brought in a full crew to decorate her house like a winter wonderland. Emily is surprised to learn that the decorators are working out of the goodness of their hearts. Luckily, she has a bag full of princess tiaras from all the princesses she’s met. When Sugarplum finds out that Emily has a big-city job, she just has to tag along! She listens in as Emily has a meeting with a developer who wants to tear down a ski lodge. Sugarplum walks in and works her magic, even helping two enemies, Vic Webster and Fiona Gubelmenn, fall in love—and boy, is it steamy! Give those two a movie ASAP.The magic of Sugarplum continues. When they find out that the headphones Nina wants for Christmas are only available if you win a Christmas competition, Sugarplum absolutely crushes it.Emily is too busy to show up for Max’s career event, so Sugarplum agrees to go. At first, the kids make fun of her for being weird and make fun of Max for bringing her, but then Sugarplum pulls out a magic snow globe and causes it to snow indoors. It’s phenomenal. Max becomes the most popular kid in school.Emily gets great news—her newly decorated house has secured them a spot in the Harmony Channel Christmas house competition. But the magic begins to fade. The power goes out due to too many Christmas lights. Vic Webster wasn’t actually into Fiona; he just wanted to trick her into giving up the ski lodge. Sugarplum gets sued for cutting down a tree and then arrested for the snow in the school. The police are baffled by Sugarplum, seeing as how she has snowflakes as fingerprints. Luckily, Emily knows the law and is able to get her released. But it’s getting too real for Emily. Her son is suspended, and her daughter is mad at her for ignoring her. Sugarplum realizes the magic is fading. Emily thinks that as long as she wins the contest, they’ll be okay! That’ll be the amazing memory her family needs to keep the magic light burning. But things get out of control when she adds a ton more to try to ensure they win the contest. She doesn’t even realize that her family is absolutely hating it. Her kids say, “We didn’t ask for any of this. We want Christmas to be like it used to be.” They all leave her alone and go to the Christmas pageant like they used to do together.Sugarplum helps Emily realize that her family doesn’t need a perfect Christmas—they need her. Emily pulls out of the competition and makes it in time to see her daughter perform at the pageant. But Nina is freaking out and runs away. Emily goes after her, apologizes for being the worst, and tells her that she believes in her and that she shouldn’t worry about being perfect, just have fun.The performance is great, complete with some Christmas magic. Melanie is going to be the chaperone at the dance to keep an eye on Jenny and make sure she's doing okay. Jenny has autism and sometimes has a tough time with loud noises and whatnot. Things are going okay at first until things get a little too intense with the music and the snow falling. Jenny runs outside, and Melanie decides it's probably time to go home.Cut to one year later, and Jenny is excited to be a senior and eager to figure out what’s next for her, which she hopes is going to college in California. When Melanie finds out what school Jenny wants to go to, she’s shocked and tries to talk to her about it, but Jenny isn't having it.The next day, Jenny is talking with her friends, and they come up with the idea to create an alternative dance that is inclusive of all kids. What she doesn’t know is that Melanie wants to do the same thing, except she wants to make the dance inclusive by lowering the volume, getting rid of the strobe lights, stuff like that. There’s some pushback from the PTA because the dance is so close. That’s when hot teacher Daniel steps in and says he’ll be the liaison and help make sure this is possible. There’s a new boy in town named Will, who Jenny takes a liking to, and he agrees to help with the dance.Melanie and Daniel come up with an idea to make the dance fun for everyone – a silent disco. You can control your own volume, and it’s something new and fresh.Once it all comes out about both dances, they decide to merge them. It’s the night of the party, and bad news strikes: it’s snowing, and Jenny is afraid of the snow. But Will inspires her to conquer her fear and come outside. The party is a smash hit, and Melanie agrees to join Daniel in Paris on his sabbatical. They share a kiss, and then Will and Jenny join them outside, kiss, and they all watch the snow together. Ep 1323Our Little Secret (Netflix - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde & Jacklyn Collier

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH#Sponsored by BetterHelpBetterHelp.com/Hallmark - for 10% off your first month #adVisitGreenvilleSC.com/Things-To-Do/Winter/ The movie kicks off with a fun little animation telling the story of a secret that started in 1996 when Avery met Logan. They became quick friends. Avery could 100% be herself around him, and vice versa. As they got older, that friendship blossomed into true love—the kind that can get you through anything, like the loss of Avery’s mom.Fast forward: they’re adults now. Avery lands a job in London, and Logan is less than thrilled. It’s 2014, and on their last night together, Logan is driving the struggle bus. They’re in the middle of a fight, but it boils down to him saying, “I’m just really going to miss you, and I’m sad.”At her going-away party, her dad gives an emotional speech before handing the mic to Logan. Logan gets down on one knee, but before he can even pop the question, Avery blurts out, “No.” Logan does not handle it well and throws out, “If your mom were alive, she’d be disappointed.” Ouch. Avery breaks up with him and leaves.Cue a fun montage of the world’s biggest moments from 2014-2024 (shoutout to Stranger Things and Squid Game—Netflix wins again). Now it’s 2024. Avery is a hotshot dealmaker with a hotshot dealmaker boyfriend named Cam. Logan, meanwhile, is a contractor dating Cassie, who comes from a family where every sibling’s name starts with “C.” (More on that soon.)Avery and Cam head to her dad’s house, which is all packed up. Her dad, now remarried, is selling the family home. She says goodbye as her dad and stepmom leave for a holiday trip. Then it’s off to Cam’s very uptight family. At their gathering, guess who walks in? Logan and Cassie. Turns out Cam is Cassie’s brother (one of the “C” names).Logan and Avery are stunned but quickly decide to pretend they’ve never met. Avery, already intimidated by Cam’s mom (played by Kristin Chenoweth, no less), doesn’t need the added drama. But the awkwardness only grows. Cam has his own “former friend” story: a girl named Sophie who studied abroad and is now back. Cam’s mom loves Sophie.Meanwhile, Logan and Avery strike a deal: Avery will help Logan land a business deal with Tim Meadows, and Logan will make Kristin Chenoweth like Avery. This is where things go off the rails. Avery borrows a jacket, eats some gummies from the pocket, and discovers (too late) that they’re weed gummies. At church. She ends up rambling about her hands and turns a Christmas reading into a Kool & the Gang singalong. Kristin Chenoweth is not impressed, but hey, the pastor loved it.Later, the munchies hit. Avery eats a batch of cookies meant for a cookie exchange. To cover it up, she blames the dog, which backfires when the dog has to be rushed to the vet. Shenanigans ensue, but they manage to keep Kristin in the dark. The chaos ramps up when Cam’s younger brother, Callum, overhears Logan and Avery talking about their past relationship. He blackmails them into helping him get a booth at a Christmas market. Then there’s a bar scene. Guess who shows up? Sophie. Avery sees her getting flirty with Cam, and when she gets a call about her dad’s real estate agent needing access to the house, she leaves. Logan offers her a ride, and they have a heart-to-heart about her memories of the house. He encourages her to buy it, and they spend some quiet time there.Later, Logan catches Cam sneaking into the house late at night. Cam begs Logan not to tell Avery. Finally, everything blows up at the Christmas Eve gathering. Cassie surprises Logan by inviting his parents, and Grandma spills the beans about Logan and Avery’s past. Callum exposes Avery’s cookie crime. Just as she’s about to leave, Avery asks Cam if anything happened with Sophie. He admits it did. It’s over.Avery leaves, and Logan asks if he can call her. She says no.But when she finds out that Logan suggested to her dad that she should buy the house, she realizes he might be something special. She ensures his business plan gets to the right people. In the end, Avery’s dad surprises her with the keys to her childhood home. At her housewarming party, Logan asks for a second chance. They confess their love and kiss. A year later, they’re planning their wedding. Through animation, we learn they get married sometime after that. Her clients are always thrilled with her work. She makes it known, however, that she’s not going home for Christmas and tries to avoid the conversation altogether.Cut to Emily’s brother, Nick. Nick is stuck running the family farm, and it’s a big year—it’s the first Christmas after their mom passed away, but it’s also the 25th annual Christmas carnival. His best friend (and fellow hunk), Luke, has been helping out around the farm. When Luke hears how overwhelmed Nick is with planning the carnival, he suggests calling someone with a ton of party-planning experience… like Emily! At first, she’s like, “Hard pass,” but then she has a dream about her mom.So she hops on a plane FROM LAX, and when she gets home, she immediately bumps into an old friend. It’s good to be home. On her drive to the farm, she almost hits Luke while he’s crossing the road, and they have a very Hallmark-style shouting match. When she gets to the farm, she’s shocked to find that Luke is there. As she catches up with her brother, she learns that Luke is a light artist—or at least, he used to be. When Emily sees some of his work, she gets inspired. What if they incorporated his art into the carnival to make it really special? She goes to ask Luke for help, and at first, he’s like, “Nope,” but then he’s like, “Okay, fine.” So, yay! But Luke realizes he needs inspiration—he can’t just art on command. Emily, ever the problem solver, comes up with fun activities to boost his creativity, like untangling Christmas lights in the middle of the night, decorating the farm, and even going to a Christmas market together.FINALLY, inspiration strikes while eating a cookie, and he rushes home. My guy is inspired. And let’s be honest… it’s Emily who’s inspiring him, because the sparks are flyinggggg! This carnival is going to be poppin’, so Emily calls in all her favors to get as much press and as many influencers to come out as possible. Luke’s not thrilled about the influencers, but he is thrilled about Emily, so… what can ya do?Luke finally shoots his shot and asks her to dinner. While they walk around town, she casually mentions that she’s definitely going back to LA after the carnival. He’s like, “Well, I’d still like to talk to you on the phone from time to time.”At dinner, they bond over how hard it is to take the plunge to become their own boss. He’s afraid to open a gallery, and she’s afraid to start her own party-planning company. Luke suggests she come home to start her business, but Emily says leaving LA would feel like she’s failing. She talks about her mom, and he talks about light. The date is a big success. Finally, it’s carnival time, and it’s a huge success with big light.Emily and Luke come up with a plan: she’ll start her own company, splitting her time between LA and the farm. Meanwhile, he’s going to open his own gallery. They make out. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? She’s inspired by it and wants to race herself.Cut to the present day, where we meet Anya. She’s heading to Finland for Christmas and to race in the race of all races—the 40th annual Joulurauha race. She and her best friend travel to Finland, where they meet all the other racers, including Manti, the racer who bumped her dad off the sleigh.Anya also meets Cole, a member of the press. When she finds out he’s a reporter, she’s very reluctant to talk to him. But he pitches her an idea: he wants to do an in-depth piece on her so she can tell her story, but she’s not having it.We get to the race pretty quickly, and Anya immediately makes her move on Manti. He’s already up to his dirty tricks with a big kick. Luckily, she recovers quickly and earns the final slot in the next round. She gives Manti a piece of her mind, but she’s pulled away because one of her dogs, Cupid, is injured and won’t be able to continue the race. She figures she’ll have to drop out, which stings because the race costs so much money. Her lovely cousin Lavi suggests they visit Santa and ask for help. Luckily, Cole is hanging around Santa and overhears. He offers his dog, Rue, for the race. There are some obstacles in getting this approved, but after the head of the race committee finds out that Cole is going to write about it, he gets excited about the press coverage and agrees.Sensing that Anya is stressed, Cole takes her for a cold plunge, and they bond in the sauna. She finally gets the new dogs to trust Rue, and she’s feeling great about it! Later, they spend the evening with her extended family, baking goods and playing in the snow. The next day, Anya finds out that the committee has added a new rule: all the sleds will now be pulling the same amount of weight. She’s very annoyed by it, but that’s nothing a fun night with Cole can’t fix. They go on a sleigh ride, and he lets her read his book that he’s writing. She gives him some more information for his article, but then she says, “Can I tell you something off the record?” And she kisses him! And it was awesome.Speaking of romance, Anya’s cousin Lavi and her best friend Alice are having a "will they, won’t they" situation, and it’s magical. It’s the day of the final leg, and Anya is really stressed, so she kind of yells at everyone. But they make up before the race. She talks trash to Manti, and off they go into the snow. At one point during the race, she finds Manti without his sled. He’s hurt and his sled and dogs are nowhere to be found. Anya helps him out, and they end up talking and understanding each other a bit more.Later, she tries to help free the sled from the side of a cliff but slips and falls off. She’s hanging on when one of the other racers shows up. Manti and Anya work together with the dogs to pull her back to safety. They hop back on their sleds and continue the race, and she wins! But Cole is nowhere to be found, so she goes to find him. While that’s happening, Lavi tells Alice he likes her, and they kiss!Cole is busy moping around but then realizes he has to shoot his shot! So, he goes to find Anya right as she’s about to find him. She gets a call from her Brother, a handyman named is Sal and he has big news: he has won a charity design project for the holidays. He asks Rose for some design advice. They have a charming relationship and aren’t working together on the family business. We then meet Bryson walking out of a hardware store, carrying a bunch of wood, as he is prone to do. He is annoyed to bump into his ex, who flaunts the fact that she is now engaged.Bryson works with Sal, and they are surprised to learn the funding for the project they are working on has been cut, but they need to get the project done on a budget for the Denver Chronicle for a feel-good Christmas story. The charity house they are working on will go to the town’s principal. Sal tells Bryson they need to bring Rose into the project to help finish it on time. Rose says no. But that's nothing some brotherly guilt can't overcome. Rose, who’s a designer and not an interior decorator, and who hasn’t been home since her parents died, is not thrilled about this reunion with holiday chaos. Rose drives into town and immediately bumps into Brysen and spills her coffee all over his shirt. Oh, and also, Rose finds out she’ll be staying in the same house as Brysen. Oh, and they share a bathroom, because of course they do.But hey, it’s for a good cause, right? So Rose and Brysen decide to coexist. There’s plenty of eye-rolling, sarcastic comments, and the occasional truce. Rose finds herself pulling out some pretty stellar design moves, and there’s even a Home Goods ad thrown in there that feels more like a real-life miracle than a product placement (no complaints—Home Goods is everything).Meanwhile, Rose crosses paths with Catie, the local EMT’s daughter, and her daughter Arabella, who are psyched about Rose taking on the project and share some tips on their family’s style. All seems cozy and heartwarming until Jake Hunter, the town reporter and former 6th-grade bully, shows up to cover the Christmas live show. He’s excited to capture the moment the Landrys receive their house, but he doubts they’ll finish it on time—until he hears Rose is involved.Brysen opens up to Rose about his parents which is why he’s crashing at Sal’s place. There’s even a moment when Rose and the Christmas tree farm owner work out a social media deal for a free tree, because sponsorships. Now we get to the montage! This movie has everything: paint splatters, hammering, some questionable Christmas music, and the surprising absence of decorating montages that are usually mandatory in these movies. The mayor checks in with only five days to go, sees that the place still looks like a war zone, and starts sweating bullets. But nope, they don’t buckle under the pressure! Instead, they head out to the skating rink for karaoke, because why not? Meanwhile, Rose and Brysen reminisce about high school, and there’s an actual moment when they start to like each other. But just when you think things are going smoothly, an icy tree branch falls and makes a hole in the roof, smashing some sentimental ornaments and sending Rose into an emotional spiral. Sal, the emotional support brother, comforts her. Then, the Landry family steps up to save the day. Even Jake puts down his camera and joins the fun. They all pull together, complete the house, and celebrate by making cookies. It’s here that Jake and Sal have an awkward-but-heartfelt talk about middle school trauma and they make up. In true dramatic fashion, Rose overhears Brysen’s ex bragging about their newfound reconciliation and decides she’s had enough of this small-town circus and leaves for Chicago. But wait! The Landry’s big reveal is on TV, and Rose realizes she’s made a mistake. She rushes back just in time to clear the air with Brysen, and they share a “finally, you idiot” kiss. No more running for Rose.As for Sal and Jake? They’re not making out, but you can feel the potential for a date over some peppermint hot chocolate and bad holiday movies. Because this is a rom-com, and everyone deserves a happy ending—even if it’s not the one they planned. They sneak out of their respective houses, walk through the snow, and make their way to the horse stables for some moody, teenage romance. They kiss, they swear eternal love, they give each other gifts like a necklace and a horse book. Suddenly, Austin's dad shows up like a human snowstorm of bad advice, telling him to just join the Navy. Charlotte is going to forget all about him and he'll be better for it. Fast-forward to the present, and guess what? Dad was right. They did go their seperate ways. Austin is now running her familes estate. Their grandma died and left her estate and the family businesses to three siblings who couldn’t be more different if they tried: Charlotte, the ambitious New Yorker; Henry, the mafia-adjacent sibling with questionable life choices; and Benedict, the fancy one with a fancy girlfriend and an even fancier fake accent.Cue Rachel Boston, who rolls up to the estate playing Annie Markel, the estate planner who is giving Mary Poppins. She has a purse that is full of contracts instead of candy and umbrellas, and she’s here to stir the pot. The siblings are suspicious. But Rachel Boston, being the MVP that she is, wins them over with her expert grief counseling and unsolicited life advice. She's basically the motivational speaker your mom would hire for a family reunion. She's Matt Foley but with a car instead of a van. She also makes them decorate the house because Christmas.Austin and Charlotte reconnect when he shows her that he’s still a horse-riding, stable-owning stud. He apologizes for ghosting her for the Navy. They work together to figure out how to make sure that doesn't happen. Amidst the chaos, they find old memories—Henry sobs about their parents' tragic death, Benedict uncovers an old engagement ring, and Charlotte suddenly realizes, "Hey, I still love Austin!" after seeing him bond with Cody. Then, in a classic holiday move, the brothers chop down a Christmas tree together and decorate it while debating what grandma’s wishes might have been. They decide to throw a Moorehouse Christmas gathering, hoping Aunt Eloise has a crystal ball or some insight. Spoiler: she doesn’t.Things heat up when Austin and Charlotte almost kiss, but an unexpected TUBA performance and a random holiday football touchdown stop them in their tracks. Henry gets roughed up by a mafia guy who threatens to cut off his fingers. But hey, Cody’s fine, and Rachel Boston finds him by the stables, where he asks her where her angel wings are. She laughs and says they’re hidden, which is both adorable and cryptic.Cue Benedict’s fancy British fiancée showing up for the Christmas party, because, of course, the plot thickens. Charlotte and Austin decide to try this whole love thing again. Just as things are looking up, Austin gets a job in Maine. He’s got to leave, but Charlotte, being the understanding goddess she is, lets him go.But Rachel Boston? Oh, she’s got a little holiday magic up her sleeve. She figures out a way for all three siblings to be on the board, with only one seat as chairman. Charlotte gets the coveted spot and rushes to tell Austin before he leaves. Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHJoinBilt.com/DTH - to start earning points on your rent payments!Christmas Vacation Tour - StandingOvationsLive.com The movie kicks off with Erin Cahill sleuthing around, and I’m very confused because Erin Cahill isn’t Lacey Chabert. She’s climbing rocks with one hand and gets up to a rock with some sort of message on it. Suddenly, the rock slides back, and she finds a notebook. She’s pumped. AND THAT'S THE CHRISTMAS QUEST!We're back in Boston, MA, and Erin Cahill is back home with her daughter. Her daughter gives her a compass as a Christmas gift. They cuddle up on the couch, and Erin opens the special book, sharing the story of the Yule Lads. Suddenly, it’s no longer Erin Cahill reading the story. Rather, it's Lacey Chabert, who is giving a lecture at Heast College about the book her mom found. Lacey's name is Dr. Baxter, Dr. Stefani Baxter! Her boss tells her she should go find the Yule Lads’ treasure. She’s skeptical, saying treasure hunters have been trying to find it for years, and her mom gave up. It’s impossible. But he insists, presenting her with a map that might be helpful, and suggests she try to figure it out during Christmas break.Off she goes and finds a box with the Yule horn in it—pretty easily, actually. The horn is the key to finding the rest of the treasure, but she can’t read the language on the horn. However, she knows someone who can—HER EX-HUSBAND, CHASE. He’s happy to see her until he finds out it’s just because she needs him to translate something. But when he realizes it’s the Yule Horn, he can’t help himself. When he finds out they’re going to Iceland to try to find the rest of the treasure, he also can’t resist. Chase is on the case! Off to Iceland!First stop is a church, where they find a message written on the bottom of one of the tiles. The second clue is a very cryptic message about light. They notice they’re being watched by some people as they continue their journey. They travel a couple of hours to an amazing cave and find another clue. That night, they go to a bar, and she talks to a friend about what happened between them. She loves him, but he was never happy with how devoted she was to her work and expeditions, so she let him go.At the next hunt, they get stuck in a cave. One of the people who’ve been following them agrees to help them out.We then get a montage of them finding another handful of clues. This montage includes a baking sequence, so we’re all better for it.The clues ultimately bring them to an art exhibit. The only problem is that it’s closed for a fancy Christmas party. They get dressed up and almost kiss but are interrupted. They head to the party and manage to sneak in. They can’t find the treasure anywhere, so they assume it must be in storage. They sneak a keycard from Hendrick. They get caught, so they just kiss to make the person go away. They find the final clue, and that’s when the guy funding the quest shows up and drops the bomb that he’s going to call the buyer to meet them! She says she thought this was going to a museum to help preserve history. He says, "As is." So she says, "I’m out!" But Chase says he’ll stay in case they need someone to read something. It turns out he just wanted to stay close so he could steal the clue back. He meets back up with Stefani. As they’re on their way to the final clue, Stefani realizes she may have been wrong about it. They head to the first location and find another tunnel. They figure out how to open the door, and on the other side, it’s a Christmas wonderland full of Christmas... trinkets. They’re both like, “What the heck? This isn’t treasure. This is just junk.” But then she finds her mom’s compass. She realizes her mom has already found all the clues and been in this room. She realizes that her mom suddenly stopped treasure hunting one day. She must have learned that the real treasure is the people in your life, not actual treasure. She finds a note her mom wrote her. They head out, and they hear the Yule Lads laughing as the door slams shut again. They kiss each other real big, the best treasure you can find. Then they go get some eggnog and kiss some more. Ep 1314Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story (Hallmark Channel - 2024)

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHFor King + Country's A Drummer Boy Christmas LIVE - in theaters December 5-9, 2024! The movie kicks off with Alana giving us the rundown on her family. Her parents met after their parents got season tickets to Chiefs games next to each other. Over time, they fell in love and kept up the tradition of having season tickets, and eventually, Alana came along. Her family now runs a Chiefs store! Alana tells the family that next Tuesday, someone special is coming. They assume it's a boy, but she's like, "No, no. We're finalists for the Fan of the Year award! If we win, it'll be huge!"And who is this person coming on Tuesday? It's Derrick. He's the head of fan engagement. Derrick is relatively new to the organization and to Kansas City. His coworkers encourage him to go to Norma and Nick's to get some authentic KC BBQ. He goes, and Donna Kelce is running the register. Naturally, Alana's mom is there, and when Alana walks in, she sits him down and immediately starts playing matchmaker. They invite him to come to Light the Block, which leads to him helping decorate. They spend the day talking and sharing Christmas traditions. Derrick explains that he doesn't really have any traditions because he moved around so much—he'd just write Santa a change of address card. After Light the Block, he comes into the store and is blown away. That's when they tell him about the magic hat—they have a hat that, if worn on Christmas Day, will take them to the Super Bowl. Grandpa was given the hat from Santa way back in 1969, and Santa said, "If you wear it on Christmas Day, your Christmas wish will come true." That year, they won the Super Bowl. But Grandpa lost the hat. Fast forward to 2019, someone brings the hat into the shop to sell it. They start wearing it again, and it works! It doesn't guarantee a Super Bowl victory, but it gets them there.Derrick expresses his doubts about the magic of the hat, and the family gets very offended and sends him on his way. The next day, he finds out that he has to go check out this amazing Chiefs store, which is a finalist for Fan of the Year. He's shocked to find out it’s Alana’s store. He walks in, and Alana is like, "You have to leave, someone from the Chiefs is coming." He responds, "It's me! Hi, I'm the problem, it's me." They show him more of the store, but Alana is just ruthless and quizzes him on his knowledge of Chiefs history, to which he fails miserably. He leaves but tells the other fan engagement folks about the hat, and they love it, especially the tie-in to Christmas.Derrick keeps finding reasons to go back and spend more time with Alana, including hosting a Gingerbread House competition at the BBQ restaurant (maybe?).One night, he goes to see one of the other finalists—a house that decorates with a Chiefs flair for Christmas. He goes for a walk and stumbles upon Alana’s family sitting out on the lawn drinking eggnog, so he just joins them. They end up singing Christmas songs, and Alana and Derrick hold hands! It’s the night of the celebration for the finalists, and he comes to pick her up. They go and have a great time. He shows her the empty stadium. They sit in her family’s seats, and she shares that the one year they didn’t wear the hat was because Grandpa was in the hospital. They end up kissing! They spend the evening walking through a Christmas festival, and the evening ends with ANOTHER KISS! They get the big news... THEY WIN! They're all going to be on the sidelines for the Christmas Day game, and it turns out it’s a MUST-WIN game! She is at this Chiefs event and has the hat on display, but the hat goes MISSING! She’s freaking out, but what can you do? He brings over a surprise: he got the original two seats where everything started. It’s very sweet, and I tear up.It’s at this party that it comes out that the hat is missing. The family is really understanding, though. She keeps thinking it’s going to show up, but it doesn’t, which leads to a big argument with Derrick because she thinks that the hat going missing is a sign they shouldn’t be together. The day finally comes for the family to be honored at the game, and she isn’t sure if she’s going to come. Finally, she decides to join the family just as Derrick is coming to get her. He surprises her by giving everyone in the stadium a replica of the hat. It’s very sweet. They kiss. The crowd cheers. They go back to their normal seats to watch the game, and magic Santa returns the hat to Alana. When Settie’s rival, Sue, shows up, they lie and tell her that Lilly and Juan are engaged. Juan agrees to stay, though he’s completely confused about what’s going on. But after meeting Sue, he realizes he can’t stand her and decides to stay for a while longer.Soon enough, sparks begin to fly between Lilly and Juan for real. But Juan is still struggling with writer’s block, even when it comes to the Christmas card. Meanwhile, Sue has been running things in town for too long—she even has rules about how people can decorate for Christmas. So, to surprise Settie, Lilly and Juan stay up all night decorating Sue’s yard with Christmas lights and lawn ornaments. They love the result. But the night isn’t over. Lilly and Juan run lines for a play she’s auditioning for, and they share a kiss—purely for the love of the art, of course.Sue thinks she’s figured out who Juan really is and confronts him at a Christmas party. But she’s wrong—he’s not in the mafia at all. However, it’s revealed that Sue doesn’t actually write her own Christmas letter. After the excitement of the party, Lilly and Juan share some big kisses.Juan gives Settie the Christmas letter she asked for, but she decides that she wants to write her own letter after all. The next day at breakfast, Settie reads the letter she wrote out loud, and it’s perfect—honest, heartfelt, and even admitting she hired a ghostwriter. She also explains how she fell back in love with Christmas, and how her family’s Christmas traditions are perfect just the way they are. The letter ends up winning the Christmas card contest, and we all cheer. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Ep 1302Jingle Bell Run (Hallmark Channel - 2024)

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHPrettyLitter.com/DTH - 20% off your first order + a free toyTylerShawMusic.com The movie kicks off with great animation, and that's how you know you're dealing with a heavy-hitter flick. We meet Avery, a school teacher who makes toddlers give speeches about Christmas ornaments. She loves crossword puzzles and juice boxes. While she's in the teacher’s lounge, other teachers keep congratulating her, but she has no idea why. Her best friend Ruby explains that she signed her up to be a competitor on The Great Holiday Dash, something that is definitely NOT The Amazing Race. Avery is not thrilled.Cut to Andrew Walker, selling juice—a real stretch for my boy AW. His character’s name is Wes, a retired professional athlete looking for his next big thing, and it turns out that next big thing is The Great Holiday Dash.Avery thinks it over and realizes it could be a great way to bring attention to her school and maybe even get some extra funding. So she starts training, even though she’s never done anything like this before. She ends up meeting Wes at the gym, and it does not go well. Classic treadmill situation. The competition begins, and Wes is shocked to see Avery from the gym there. The game is simple: there’s one silver bell hidden somewhere in America. The first one to find it wins. But this year, the contestants won’t compete individually—they’ll team up in pairs. Naturally, Avery and Wes are teamed up. The game kicks off with one team being eliminated after the first round. Luckily, Avery and Wes crack enough nuts to move on to the second round, which takes them to Boston. The next game involves shooting pucks, which works great for Wes.Producer Dirk pulls Wes aside and tells him to flirt more with Avery for the ratings—“Wes, you’re the star! A little flirting will really boost the numbers.” That night, Wes and Avery actually connect. Gotta hate when that happens. The next day, they head to New York City for a window display competition. Instead of immediately diving into the task, they spend more time talking and getting to know each other. Their theme is “Three French Hens,” so they go with a French theme for their display, and it looks amazing—almost like professionals came in afterward and finished it for them. And good for them—they WIN the round! They hug, and Producer Dirk tells Wes, “Good job.”Next, they head to Texas for a dance contest. This competition is a little weird, but their dance quickly turns sexy, and they win again. After a hitchhiking detour, they assume they’re out, but surprise—they’re not! So that’s a relief. They head to Oregon for the next round, but first, there’s an extracurricular gift exchange, for reasons that are unclear.Avery and Wes make it to the finals, and the sparks are flying. However, when Avery overhears a conversation between Wes and the producer, she gets really mad. What she doesn’t hear, though, is Wes telling the producer that he doesn’t want to play the game anymore because he’s really into her.The producer tells her about Wes’ feelings right before the final competition. They do a crossword puzzle and race to find the best gift under the tree. Wes falls and hurts his leg, so Avery continues on alone—and wins!!!They celebrate by announcing what they’re going to do with their prize money—both plan to give back to the community. In the end, they make up and and make out. Ep 1300Hot Frosty (Netflix - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde & Jacklyn Collier

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHTylerShawMusic.com The movie kicks off with some narration about the Christmas magic of snow in fairy tales. But this isn’t just any normal fairy tale.Cut to a house, all decorated for Christmas. The camera pans over to the house next door, which is dark and cold. Inside is Kathy, who is just as cold as her surroundings, while a truly awful version of "Jingle Bell Rock" plays in the background. We learn that Kathy runs a diner, and although her house may imply otherwise, she isn’t nearly as miserable as it seems. The diner keeps her busy, and she likes it that way.She goes to serve a couple some food, and they encourage her to get back out there. Before she leaves, they give her a scarf. While walking through the town square, Kathy comes across a very muscular snowman. She drapes the scarf around it and takes a picture. That night, the magic winds blow, and the snowman comes to life — with the long scarf still around his neck, if you catch my drift. He starts walking around town, taking in the sights and sounds, but soon realizes he’s not wearing any clothes. Desperate, he breaks into a store and grabs the first thing he finds to cover himself. The next day, Kathy parks her car and sees a man who appears to be talking to the other snowmen. He notices her and excitedly tells her what happened to him. She’s confused but invites him to her diner.Meanwhile, the police chief, Nate, investigates the break-in. "Stuff like this doesn’t happen in his town!" he declares, taking the case very seriously.Back at the diner, Kathy tries to figure out this guy’s name. The shirt he stole has "Jack" written on it, so they go with that. Jack explains that he was the snowman Kathy put the scarf on. Kathy thinks he’s crazy but also feels sorry for him since he’s freezing. She takes him to the doctor, who suggests that maybe Jack is telling the truth — who can say for sure? They discuss finding Jack a place to stay, but he insists on staying with Kathy because he feels safe with her.She reluctantly agrees, bringing him to her house and leaving him in front of the TV. After watching several channels, Jack snoops around her house and finds pictures of Kathy with a man and some medical forms about chemotherapy. That night, Kathy comes home and realizes that the police are looking for Jack. She tells him to lay low. In return, Jack shows her that he made homemade pizza crust and eggnog. He also asks her about her late husband, and she opens up to him.The next day, Jack finds the home improvement channel and decides to get to work fixing up Kathy’s house. But when a woman named Jane sees him shirtless, she crashes her car. She brings him to her house to help with repairs and later takes him to the diner, where Sheriff Nate is also present. He’s immediately suspicious of Jack and his strange habit of eating ice.Despite the sheriff’s suspicions, Kathy is moved by Jack’s hard work and enthusiasm. She tells him that he can help out at the school, where he quickly becomes a hit. Jack is loving life, and Kathy starts to enjoy his company, though she admits that she can’t love anyone until she learns to love herself first. As Jack helps decorate for the school’s Christmas ball, he realizes he wants to ask Kathy out. With some encouragement from Deputy Schatz, Jack finally works up the courage. After some hesitation, he tells Kathy, "I don’t want to lay low. I want to stand tall." She agrees, and they go fancy shopping and have a wonderful time.Later, they go to the school dance and have the best time of their lives. They step outside to cool off, and they almost kiss, but Jack pulls back. He says, "The more I fall in love with you, the more I can’t stand the thought of hurting you if I melt." They share a hug.On Christmas Eve, Kathy hosts a gathering at the diner. Suddenly, Sheriff Nate comes in and arrests Jack after finding a picture of him at the ATM. Kathy rushes to check on Jack and discovers he’s melting. She runs to get all the money in her safe, but it’s not enough. The townspeople, however, come together and contribute their own money — it’s a "It’s a Wonderful Life" moment. Sheriff Nate counts the money, but after seeing how much it means to the town, he returns it to Kathy. She rushes to Jack, who is in a bad state. The townspeople carry him out into the snow, but he doesn’t wake up. Desperate, Kathy leans down and tells Jack that she loves him before kissing him. She begins to walk away, but suddenly Jack stands up. They embrace, and Kathy notices something’s different. Jack says, "I don’t know what’s up," and shivers. Kathy exclaims, "You’re cold!" They kiss again as the crowd cheers. They spend Christmas together, repair the heating in her house, and then head off to Hawaii for a well-deserved vacation. Ep 1301A Reason for the Season (Hallmark Mystery - 2024)

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHTylerShawMusic.com The movie kicks off with a great rendition of Deck the Halls that might be the new theme song for Deck the Hallmark. Cut to a woman driving in a car, giving herself a pep talk and talking to herself and her baby, whom she is pregnant with. Suddenly, she feels a sharp pain, drives into a town, and runs into a diner, saying she thinks she's going into labor but that the snow is really coming down. Luckily, there’s a doctor in the diner who has personally delivered over 100 babies! The birth is successful, and the baby is healthy. She names her Evie Lang. The group takes a picture to celebrate—there’s a doctor, a police officer, a lawyer, and some other fancy folks. The doctor gives the baby a little checkup and realizes the baby may have an abdominal blockage, so they all work together to get the baby to the hospital. They save the baby’s life, take up a collection to pay the hospital bill, and send them on their way.Cut to the present day, when the mother, Elizabeth Lane, is giving a speech about the success of her skincare brand, Lane Cosmetics. Evie is now an adult, and her mom brings her up on stage to celebrate the success of women. Evie is clearly uncomfortable being on stage. She’s in fashion but isn’t having much success. Her mom tells her she’s been spoiled and needs to learn how to do something hard. So she gives her the Polaroid of the people who helped her on the night she was born. Her mom explains that Evie has to go and find these people and grant Christmas wishes to each of them. If she fails this mission, she’ll lose her trust fund. So, Evie heads back to the town and is disappointed by the absolutely massive inn she has to stay in. She goes by the name of Mary so as not to give herself away. She decides to go and ask the only attorney in town for help finding the people in this picture. He says, “I could do that, but why would I?” She says she wants to give them an award. He replies, “That’s not what this town is all about, especially dressed like that.” So, she goes to find an outfit that’s a bit more low-key. They go and grab a bite to eat, and the diner owner tells them the story of what happened that night.Kyle agrees to help her find the people, but they’re going to go at his pace. Up first is Roy, and Evie ends up being voluntold to be the elf in the town square. The diner owner quickly figures out who she is, and she comes clean. She asks what his wish is. At first, he’s hesitant but tells her to let him think on it. She is blown away by how nice everyone in this town is and realizes that’s going to make it hard for her to finish this project quickly. The next day, she ends up backing out and almost hitting a police car. Turns out, that cop is someone she needs to repay, but she doesn’t want to reveal her true identity, so she ends up getting arrested. Evie is blown away by the kindness and doesn’t know how she’s going to repay them. She finds out that someone has been this town’s Secret Santa—paying hospital bills, etc., for a long time. She calls her mom, and her mom explains that she tried to repay everyone many moons ago but couldn’t do it. So, good luck, kid. It’s just your trust fund at risk. The pressure is mounting, and what better way to deal with said pressure than by ice skating with Kyle? She decides to tell him the truth about who she is, and Kyle’s like, “Oh, yeah, I know.” But he was unaware that she was doing this just to make sure she didn’t lose her trust fund. You can tell he’s like, “Oh, boo hoo to you,” but they continue their quest, and he continues to just watch her from afar. The diner owner is impressed by Evie, and he calls Elizabeth to encourage her to come and see all the good that Evie has been doing in the town. So, Elizabeth comes, and she’s so proud of Evie. She has done so much good. She finds out that Kyle’s dad was the one who took the picture, so she has to make his wish come true. They have a birthday party at the diner for Evie, and she tells her mom she wants to do more of this kind of stuff with her trust fund. She asks Kyle what he wants, and he says, “I want you,” and they kiss. Everyone takes one more picture together. Ep 1299Unwrapping Christmas: Mia's Prince (Hallmark+ - 2024) ft. Ryan Pappolla

The movie starts with Mia in some sort of fantasy sequence that reminds me of a really weird fantasy romance novel. Turns out, she's just sleeping on the job. Silly Mia! Her friends wake her up and tease her for dreaming about that guy from her books again. It’s going to be a crazy week—busy, busy, busy! But if I’ve learned anything from the first movie, it’s that Mia will barely have to work in this one, with little to no consequences for the business.Mia’s sister asks her to watch her cat, but Mia is allergic, so she ends up falling asleep at the office again. She dreams about the book prince once more when there's a knock at the door. Gotta be honest—the lower third of his face looks a whole lot like the lower third of the dream prince’s face. He buys something and hands her a $100 bill. The next day, her friends tease her, thinking she's still dreaming, but then he shows up again. She’s not dreaming! Turns out, his name is Beau Cavannagh. The Cavannagh family is super wealthy, and Beau is next in line to run the whole thing. This is the type of family that has his entire life planned out, including who he’s supposed to end up with. In fact, he’s already engaged. But he keeps coming around, and the sparks are flying. There’s a lot of "will they or won’t they?" I think they will. She tells him this isn’t going to work—but then it does. They kiss. Yay. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Ep 1298'Tis the Season to Be Irish (Hallmark Channel - 2024) ft. Tyler Shaw

Rose Walsh is a home renovator who insists on being present anytime there's a showing of one of her properties. She’s interested in a cottage in Ireland and puts in an offer to a man named Sean—though her approach is unnecessarily spicy. When she arrives in Ireland, Sean recognizes her on the street and tries to talk to her, but she’s immediately wary—like STRANGER DANGER. She later shows up at the cottage, only to be shocked when she discovers that Sean is the same guy from the city. She declares that she’s going to flip the house, but he argues that house flipping is the worst thing to ever happen to homes. She insists, "Just show me the house."To her dismay, the house is an absolute disaster—she’s been house-fished. Sean tells her she should have read the fine print, and she’s left feeling discouraged.Things take an unexpected turn when she discovers that Sean essentially runs the town—he’s everything from the fire marshal to the local real estate agent. Although Rose is dead set against selling the house, the townspeople are eager for her to do so. Sean offers to help make the situation right. As Rose works on fixing up the house, Sean spends as much time with her as possible. They go out drinking, stay up all night, and somehow manage to form fully functioning sentences—so, things are going pretty well. They eventually agree that what the house really needs, more than a functioning roof or repairs, is a Christmas tree.Rose finally gets the house ready for a showing, and a couple expresses interest. When they ask why she’s selling, she admits, "I don’t know. Maybe I want to stay after all."In a wild twist, a woman—who turns out to be a famous pop star who’s recently shaved her head—arrives in the town, hiding from the public eye.Rose struggles with whether or not she should sell the house, even after receiving an offer. Sean keeps urging her to make a decision, not only because the buyers are pushing for an answer, but because he’s also super into her. During a romantic picnic, they almost kiss, but Rose says she needs more time.On the day of the cold plunge, Rose arrives and tells Sean she’s found a home—not with the cottage, but with him. He tells her that they don’t have to stay in Ireland; he’d go anywhere with her. They head to the water for the cold plunge, share a kiss, and run into the sea together. Ep 1297Trivia at St. Nick's (Hallmark Channel - 2024) ft. Danny Pellegrino

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHJoinBilt.com/DTH - to start earning points on your rent payments! Astronomy Professor Celeste is super excited about the annual Christmas Trivia Contest at Nick's Bar. It's a big deal—and not just for bragging rights. The winner gets a trophy called "The Stan," named after the best trivia competitor Nick's has ever seen. Celeste feels really good about this year because she has Richard, a two-time Jeopardy! winner, on her team! She loves everything about the university where she teaches—except for football. Speaking of football, meet Max, the offensive coordinator. He doesn't really have any plans this holiday season because his parents are going on a cruise. We're one day away from the first round, and Richard backs out. Celeste is really stressed. So stressed, in fact, that she gets mad at Max over how he handles the buffet—something she's downright wrong about. It's time for the first round, and Max shows up just to watch. But when the first round turns out to be about sports, they pull Max in to join the team, much to Celeste's chagrin. The first round ends, and they're down by one point. The rest of the team loves Max and wants him to stay for the next five days. Celeste protests, saying, "I'm sure he's busy." Max responds, "I'm actually wide open." Celeste is annoyed, but she knows winning is everything.Celeste clearly cares about this more than the rest of her team. She stays up all night studying and shows up the next day feeling incredibly intense. But does it help them win? No. In fact, they come in last place on night two.Max decides that the problem is they forgot to have fun. The next day, he invites the team to play a game of "Capture the Star" on the rock wall—an old classic. His theory? "If we have fun, we'll be happy. And if we're happy, we might just win." Celeste is hesitant but gives in—and ends up having a good time, maybe because they’re winning.Afterward, instead of studying, Celeste goes with Max to buy a Christmas tree, and they actually end up having a great time talking and getting to know each other. It's time for round three, and the "fun" strategy works! They go double or nothing and win first place in the round. Celeste and Max celebrate with a hug, and the sparks fly. He walks her home, and they connect even further. Max is pumped! The next day, they all gather for a Christmas Scavenger Hunt because Celeste thinks it could come in handy for trivia. But worst-case scenario, at least they’ll have fun! They split into teams of two, and of course, Celeste and Max team up. She’s shocked to find out that he’s a big reader—and it turns out this is the reason they don’t win the hunt. But she’s actually okay with it.It’s time for the next round, and they CRUSH IT! The team morale is at an all-time high, and Max and Celeste aren't tired at all. So, she takes him stargazing, and they have the best time. The good times keep rolling—at one point, they even hold hands. But they lose track of time. They’re rushing back for trivia when they have to swerve out of the way of some reindeer and end up with a flat tire. While waiting for a mechanic, Celeste snaps at Max for how they’ve lost focus on what's important. They make it back just in time for trivia—but not in time to save their first-place standing. They fall back to third. The next day, Celeste tries to get in touch with Max but can’t reach him. She assumes he’s mad at her. It turns out his phone broke, and he spent Christmas Eve trying to find a replacement. They make up and share a big kiss. They arrive just in time for the final round, and thanks to Max actually studying, the team ends up winning! Everyone celebrates by kissing. The provost speaks with Celeste and tells her that her new telescope has been approved—thanks to the money the football team brought in this year. Maybe football isn’t so bad after all. Max and Celeste agree to participate in trivia again next year, sealing it with a kiss. Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHHomeAloneTour.com Olivia, a little girl, writes a letter to Santa asking him to reveal who her one true love will be. They go to sleep and wake up the next morning to find Santa has brought her a dollhouse. Stupid Santa. She thinks, "I'm sure Santa will give me a name soon—how long could it really take?"Fast forward 25 years: Olivia is now a hotshot dealmaker who always rates her Uber driver with stars and hands money to the Santa ringing a bell on the street. She works as a designer for sets at Style Home Network. As she's preparing for an upcoming shoot, Olivia gets called into her boss's office. They're interested in having her on camera! She's pumped—this is what she's worked for. But her excitement is quickly extinguished when she finds out Chris Davis is directing the special. Chris directs a show called Model Home, which Olivia thinks is tacky. She’s unsure how to feel, so she hops into her Uber and vents to the driver, Rodney, about how she thinks Chris is the worst possible choice. Rodney encourages her to give Chris a chance. Olivia asks, "How did you know his last name?" and then realizes, to her surprise, that Rodney isn’t really Rodney—it's Chris Davis in disguise.Chris explains that the network bought Olivia's childhood home for the remodel, and it’s going to be the feature of the special. Olivia protests that the house needs too much work for a one-episode show—it should be a full season. But Chris doesn’t budge, even when he almost falls through the wall.Olivia invites her sister Darcy over for some inspiration, and while they’re there, they hear a strange ringing in the walls. Olivia reaches inside a vent and finds a letter addressed to her. To her shock, it’s the letter she wrote to Santa all those years ago. She opens it, and a mysterious rhyme reveals her one true love's name: Nick. Olivia scoffs and throws the letter in the trash, but the next morning, it reappears in her possession. She throws it away again. Then, Olivia has not one, but three rom-com-worthy meet-cutes. She has an encounter with a Nick A in a coffee shop after a coffee swap, spills her coffee on a Nick B, and narrowly avoids getting hit by a truck thanks to a Nick C, who rescues her. And the letter keeps showing up!Olivia gets all three Nicks’ numbers and decides, "When life gives you three Nicks, you go on three dates." But will she even have time? She’s got a meeting with Chris at the house. The meeting doesn’t exactly go well. Her date with Nick A is next. He’s rented out an entire ice rink for just the two of them. They have a great time—until she accidentally pops a bottle of champagne cork right into his eye. Their romantic evening ends with a trip to the hospital, but they laugh it off.Back on set, Olivia and Chris’s relationship is still tense, but there's some undeniable flirty energy. Then, Olivia and Darcy visit a custom woodworking shop for potential show inspiration—and it turns out Nick B owns the shop. The pair head to a Christmas festival, where Olivia accidentally hits Nick B in the head with a snowball during a competition with Chris. He jokes, "Guess I'm a knock-out," but it’s hard to ignore the growing tension between Olivia and Nick B.Olivia’s date with Nick C is a disaster. He’s a firefighter who’s posing for a calendar, and after a cookie incident that triggers his nut allergy, he ends up in the hospital. Womp womp.Olivia is starting to freak out—what is she supposed to do? That’s when the letter in her purse changes again. This time, it says she must choose the right Nick by midnight on Christmas Eve. Darcy encourages her to date all three Nicks as much as possible before then.Cue the dating montage. While at her childhood home, Olivia finds Christmas decorations she thought were lost forever, bringing back fond memories. Chris stops by and suggests using some of her old sketches as inspiration for the remodel, which could save money on the set design. Olivia begins to warm to Chris, especially when he implements ideas from her sketches in the dining room.On a date with Nick C (still everyone’s least favorite), Olivia is inspired to put a giant bow on the house. Oddly, Chris agrees with the idea. He shows her the dining room, where he’s incorporated her childhood designs.Olivia starts to soften toward Chris. He’s actually pretty great, and they both want the same thing. But just as things start to look promising, Nick B arrives with a handmade reindeer. They talk about where to go on their date, but Olivia feels a disconnect with him. Then, she shows up at Chris’s house to decorate his tree, but when he invites her in, she insists she’s got plans. They try hugging twice, but it doesn’t quite happen, so they settle for a fist bump. Olivia giggles and walks away.On her date with Nick A, they’re under the mistletoe. He leans in for a kiss to take her mind off work, and sparks fly.The next day at work, Olivia and Chris watch the final cut of their pre-recorded segment. To ce

Ep 1294Meet Me Next Christmas (Netflix - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde & Jacklyn Collier

The movie kicks off in... Chicago. But if you think that the Pentatonix are only popular in New York City, you'd be incorrect. Layla is at the airport to catch a flight home to New York City, but her flight is delayed. She FaceTimes her boyfriend, Tanner, and says, "Don't worry, I'll be home before our annual Pentatonix Christmas concert." He rolls his eyes and reminds her—and us—that they go every year. She says, "AND IT'S AWESOME." Tanner, not so sure. But she’s taking the delay well because she gets lounge access. While getting food, she bumps into a good-looking fella with a ton of layers on, and he has a couple of teacups in his hands—he says they're Christmas gifts. She sits down, prepared to watch It's a Wonderful Life on her phone and drink some wine, but ANOTHER hunk sits next to her. They immediately start hitting it off. His name is James—some might say Jimmy, but who knows? She finds one of the teacups in her bag, and he's like, "Just keep it. Maybe you can fill it with..." and they both say "paperclips" at the same time. She introduces him to Pentatonix, and he’s like, “I gotta get out of here ASAP." His flight is boarding. On his way out, he shoots his shot—he says, "In one year, if for some reason you're single, let's meet up at the Christmas Eve Pentatonix show." She says, “I’m flattered, but probably not happening, maybe.”Cut to one year later, and she did use that cup for paperclips and whatnot. She is still with Tanner. She goes home early to set up a romantic night with Tanner, but... he’s with another girl! IT IS SO OVER WITH TANNER! She’s moping around with her BFF and talking about airport James. Her friend tries to look up airport James on social media. Suddenly, she remembers THE PLAN! But she doesn’t have Pentatonix tickets this year because Tanner wanted to go see Macklemore. And tickets are sold out. She’s bummed, but then she sees a picture of James buying a ticket on the website! She’s committed to getting the tickets! But no luck. So, as a last-ditch effort, they decide to give Impromptu a shot—a service that can get you anything you need, at a cost. And who works at Impromptu? Teacup guy from the airport. His name is Teddy. Layla is going to be his client. He knows he knows her from somewhere but can’t place it. He looks up to see if they have a ticket in the database, but no luck. He says he knows a guy, but he has to go see him in person. She insists on going with him. His guy is nowhere to be found, but she thinks she found a guy who’s willing to sell his ticket to her. So, they go to meet him at this bar. She pays him more than she has by giving him a necklace. Turns out, it was a ticket for last year! While that’s happening, Teddy has slid into the Pentatonix DMs. They don’t respond right away, but Teddy keeps sending them info, including that he got pepper-sprayed—he really needs that ticket. While waiting to hear back from them, Teddy gets a lead—one of his clients is interested in potentially selling his ticket. Turns out, the clients are very odd but interested in giving them the ticket in exchange for them picking up a Chanel purse for him. They get to the Chanel store and have to wait in a very long line. Teddy flirts with a Chanel worker, and it’s looking good because that worker is going to snag the last one for them. But Layla gets "Christmas shoe'd" and decides they deserve the bag instead. Teddy keeps messaging Pentatonix, and Pentatonix is now cheering for Teddy and Layla to end up together. And after Teddy cooks her an amazing meal, Layla might be rooting for that too. Suddenly, Teddy gets good news—his cousin has two Pentatonix tickets. When they get there, they find out it's a bit more complicated. In order to get those two tickets, they have to team up to win a Christmas lip-sync competition. They work on it, then take a pit stop in the kitchen, and it’s at this point that she sees the same little teacup. It all comes together that they met last Christmas. There's a baking montage, and the sparks are beginning to fly hard. She ends up falling asleep on the couch. The next day, they go to the performance and crush it... AND IT ENDS WITH A KISS. They... get second place. The Pentatonix have been keeping up with it on social media, and even though they think Teddy and Layla should be together, they think Layla has the right to make a well-rounded choice. So, Layla is going to get a ticket, but Teddy has to come too and play Santa. Turns out, the Pentatonix just want to know if Teddy has a crush on Layla. And it turns out Layla has completely fallen for Teddy. She decides she’s going to go to the show to get TEDDY, not James. So she heads out into the snow as that classic Christmas song, "Hallelujah," plays. James gets to the venue and stands outside, flowers in hand, waiting on Layla. He starts walking away as she runs in. She gets her ticket from the box office and decides she needs to see Teddy ASAP. She goes to run backstage and bumps into James first. She sa

Ep 1290Five Gold Rings (Hallmark Mystery - 2024)

We’re on a beach, which might make you think it’s not Christmas—but it is. How do we know? Well, a grandma and her granddaughter are wearing Santa hats! The grandma finds a St. Nicholas locket and explains to her granddaughter that with the name on the back of it, she’s going to work hard to find the owner. The girl, Audrey, shows Grandma a drawing she made for her for Christmas. They go back to Grandma’s shop, where they put the locket in a secret spot and frame the picture.Cut to the present day: Audrey is now a big-city artist. She’s heading back home for the holidays for the first time since Grandma passed away. Her mom tells her that Grandma left her the old desk in her will and requested that Audrey look in the secret spot. Inside, there’s a letter and five gold rings. In the letter, Grandma asks Audrey to work to return these five gold rings to their owners, just like they used to do every Christmas. She also insists that Audrey ask Finn O’Sullivan for help. So, Audrey goes straight to Finn’s office—he’s a private eye. Finn was actually the first person she and Grandma returned an item to. He was just a kid back then, but now he’s all grown up. They quickly catch up on the important stuff, like whether either of them is in a relationship—they’re not. Then, they get to work on the first ring. They’re able to figure out that it has something to do with a dancer who played Clara. After a few dead ends and a snowman-making break, they finally track her down. She’s thrilled!Onto the next: one night, Audrey is looking at one of the rings that has a small box attached. It pops open, revealing a key. After some sleuthing, they discover it opens a drawer in an old desk. Inside is a transcript for a book. They find the author—or rather, the author’s son—who didn’t even know his dad had been writing it. He’s overjoyed to have it.In the meantime, they track down a few more owners, which leaves them enough time to make a ton of homemade ornaments. They end up going to a ball, slow dancing, and almost kissing. Then Finn drops a bombshell: his grandma had already paid him for his services. Audrey thought he was in it for the love of the mission, so she’s upset. But he explains that his grandma paid him because his business was struggling. Finally, there’s one more ring left to return. They trace it back to a Santa, who reveals he actually made the ring for Audrey on behalf of her grandma. Audrey gives him a drawing she made of him. And then—she and Finn kiss. Ep 1289Unwrapping Christmas: Tina's Miracle (Hallmark+ - 2024) ft. Ryan Pappolla

We enter All Wrapped Up, a shop that specializes in wrapping presents, with four employees: Mia, Olivia, Lilly, and, of course, Tina. Tina is put in charge of the Christmas gala, so she’s running around trying to gather everything needed for the event. She goes to a store, and a girl there starts snapping Polaroid pictures. The girl then hands the photos to her father, Michael Alonzo, for later.Despite it being the busy season at All Wrapped Up, Tina spends most of her time working on the gala. She even has a to-do list. Lucky for her, Michael Alonzo is walking right behind her—definitely not following her every move—and he asks her out. She declines, saying she’s too busy.Tina goes to check out the venue where the gala is held every year, but there’s bad news: it’s been sold. She discovers that Michael Alonzo is the one responsible for the sale. The next day, Michael visits her shop with his daughter, who snaps another photo of Tina without consent. He asks her out again, and this time, she agrees to meet up because she has something to discuss. She confronts him about the sale of the venue and the fact that it will be torn down. Michael says he’ll talk to the buyer, but only if she comes over for dinner—and it’s definitely not a date. She agrees, and when she shows up, his daughter takes yet another picture—four now, if you’re keeping track. They end up having a great time together, almost kiss, but then daddy duty calls. The next day, they do some charity work at a church, and their connection deepens. However, when Michael finds out that Tina has done some research on him, he gets angry.Tina later shows up at his house to apologize, admitting she was wrong about him. They go out to dinner and share a slow dance in the snow. Meanwhile, Tina is doing some digging and discovers an old deed. Long story short, the house never belonged to Michael Alonzo; it actually belonged to the people, which means it was never his to sell in the first place.Michael decides to open a school for his daughter in the building, and they can still hold the gala there. The event goes off as planned, and they share a kiss. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Ep 1288Holiday Mismatch (Hallmark Channel - 2024) ft. Justin Kirkland

Barbara is newly retired and really into keeping the house clean. She decides to join a Christmas committee. The meeting is supposed to start at 9:00 AM, but when she arrives, no one is there. Ten minutes later, the group leader, Cath, shows up and says, “Oh yeah, it’s a flexible 9.” The rest of the committee arrives, and they’re quite the characters. Barbara is clearly annoyed by this fly-by-night committee. When the opportunity arises for her to head up the committee budget, she jumps at it, but she’s shocked to discover that Cath has just been keeping the receipts in a literal shoebox. We meet Barbara’s son, Shane. She thinks he is lonely, so she wants to find him a date for the holidays using an app called Holiday Matchmaker, which she signs him up for without his approval. Then we meet Cath’s daughter, Lauren, and wouldn’t you know it, her mom also signed her up for the same dating app. They end up getting paired together.Lauren and Shane meet for coffee, but it doesn’t start well. Shane overhears Lauren talking to a friend, complaining about going on a blind date her mother set her up for. However, they end up hitting it off while discussing their mothers. Shane tells Lauren he plans to sell his theater business, but he’s feeling super stressed. To keep their mothers off their backs, they agree to pretend to date for the holidays.Unfortunately, both moms want to meet their children’s special someone. They decide to meet at a Christmas festival, and they’re both clearly disappointed that their kids ended up together. They conclude that the only logical thing to do is sabotage the relationship. So Barbara and Cath quickly devise a plan to break them up. After learning that Shane isn’t very handy, Cath has an idea: invite him to help pick out a Christmas tree with her and Lauren, forcing Shane to figure out how to get the tree on the car himself. However, the plan backfires when Shane and Lauren end up failing together. When they finally get the tree home, they discover there’s a rat inside. Shane is terrified of the rat, but Cath asks him to get it out, which he does, impressing Lauren. Plan failed.Next, Barbara comes up with another idea: invite Lauren to one of Shane’s shows. She hopes Shane will get upset if he thinks Lauren is pushing for the relationship to work. Plus, Lauren has bad stage fright, so when Shane invites her on stage for a quirky improv Christmas Carol, Barbara is excited. To her surprise, Lauren ends up having fun and is really impressed with the show. When their plans don’t work, Barbara climbs through a window to convince the volunteer playing Santa to come out after he locks himself in a room because he’s scared. Cath and Barbara work together to encourage him to get out there. They realize they make a pretty good team and need to work together to break up these two lovebirds. They decide to start hanging out, acting like they love each other, and really push this “big happy family” narrative in hopes of freaking Shane and Lauren out. However, they notice that Shane and Lauren might actually be good for each other—Lauren encourages Shane to go all in on theater, and he helps her step out of her comfort zone. While on a trolley, singing Christmas carols, Shane and Lauren both admit they’re actually falling for each other and agree to go to the Christmas Ball together.Barbara finds out that the relationship is fake but assumes it’s one-sided to get her off Shane’s back. She tells Cath, who gets really mad and advises Lauren to break things off with Shane because he’s a bad guy.At the ball, everything comes to a head when Barbara and Cath confront Lauren and Shane about the fake relationship. Lauren freaks out and ends things with Shane due to all the drama. Barbara and Cath start arguing at the ball, and Barbara quits the committee.Barbara’s husband, who hates being around her during this turmoil, encourages her to fix things with Cath. They make up and decide to work together to get Shane and Lauren back together. Cath shows up at Lauren’s workplace to apologize for meddling, and Barbara does the same with Shane. Lauren and Shane decide to give their relationship another chance, and they kiss! The families then spend Christmas together, which seems a bit fast. They kiss some more and sing songs. Ep 1287Our Holiday Story (Hallmark Channel - 2024)

Chris shows up at his girlfriend Joanna's parents' house expecting to meet Joanna, but Joanna is running late. A couple of hours late, in fact. He's like, "I'll just wait on you." She's like, "Oh, they're definitely watching you from the window, so you're gonna have to go in." Just as Joanna is about to give him a piece of advice that starts with "Don't ask them about…," her phone dies. They invite Chris in to help decorate for their Christmas party. It's stepmom Nell and Dad Dave. Dave makes fun jokes like, "We might poison you with nuts." They sit down to get to know each other a little bit, and Chris asks a question: "How did you two meet?" They light up. It was 10 years ago to the date. He gets on this train full of people in ugly Christmas sweaters. Apparently, it's the inaugural ugly Christmas sweater convention. He finds the one person not wearing a Christmas sweater and sits across from her. It's Nell. He says chit-chat is hard, and she doesn't immediately tell him to get lost. She's a keeper. They begin to hit it off. The train stops due to ice, and he sees a sign for Fredo's Fruitcake, which she also happens to love. Two people who love fruitcake on the same train! He's like, "You know what, I’m gonna go get some." As he's in the store, the train begins to move. It leaves him behind! To make matters worse, they both remember each other's names incorrectly, with no way to contact each other!Dave is talking to his daughter and says, "I just hope that fate brings us back together." But he's a busy bee. Dave is a woodworker who is planning the town’s Christmas festival. He gets a letter from the city and has to call a woman named Eleanor. Who could that be?! Turns out she's against the festival because it isn’t good budget-wise, so the phone conversation does not go well. The next day, Dave and his daughter are walking around town, and she goes to pick up some coffee. Suddenly, Dave and Nell bump into one another! They realize that they both had the names wrong, and they're flirting hard! But then Dave gets an SOS text from his daughter. He calls, but there's no answer. So he's like, "I gotta go make sure she's okay, don't move!" Before he gets back, Nell has to move her car to avoid getting a parking ticket. Womp womp.Joanna can't believe that he didn't get her number again! So, she posts a "Missed Connection" on his behalf. Believe it or not, they bump into each other again! This time, they exchange numbers immediately! Well, they try. He doesn't have his phone, so he tries committing it to memory but can't because people on the street are just yelling out numbers. And she puts his number in her phone but ends up dropping it before she can save it!Wouldn't you know it, she ends up finding "his" missed connection. So she messages him, and Joanna gets it and asks her out on a date on behalf of Dave. So she comes over for his Christmas party, and they are having a great time. They're slow dancing when suddenly it all clicks for Nell—Dave is the David she's been arguing with about the Christmas festival. So she leaves and ghosts him!Dave and Joanna are so confused, but it all becomes clear to Joanna when she joins Dave for a meeting about the festival and sees Nell. So she convinces him to leave. She decides to try to make this work by getting Nell to meet with her and tell her that she knows who she is, but her dad still doesn't. So Joanna comes up with a plan to help Nell tell David the truth. She shows up at his farm with a fruitcake, and he gives her a tour of the festival. She begins to realize how much work he's been putting into this festival and that maybe it's not an entire waste of resources. She finally comes clean about who she is, but before she can, he tells her that he really likes her. The moment is so romantic, and she can't find it in herself to tell him the whole truth. Oh hey, back in the present, Joanna finally shows up after a bunch of travel hurdles. They don't quite get off to a strong start. He tells her that he loves her, and she creams him with icing and runs off. He decides he should just leave. Back in the past, Nell is about to tell Dave the truth, but he ends up bashing "Eleanor" before she can. Then the fire marshal shows up and shuts the festival down. She feels so bad, so she finally goes to tell him the truth. She starts by saying how much she likes him and how great he makes her feel. Just as she's about to say who she is, the fire marshal comes back in and is like, "GREAT NEWS, you pass!" and hands Eleanor the report, and it all becomes clear to David. Dave is really mad. She says she was scared to tell him the truth because what if David and Eleanor can't be together? "I just want to be Dave and Nell." He's like, "Well, maybe we aren't meant to be," and leaves.Back in present day, Joanna texts Chris, "I love you," and her parents encourage her to go get him. No regrets. Back to the story that matters, Eleanor goes to find David and tell him that she was wrong and that
