This weeks hero is my transcendental meditation teacher and LA director of the David Lynch Foundation, Lynn Kaplan!Before I me Lynn, I thought the goal of meditation was to levitate out of your body. Which I guess is shocking that wasn’t reason enough for me to stick with it. But it wasn’t, I could never keep up a practice, I didn’t know meditation was exactly what I needed, until I stuck with the practice for a few weeks. The longer I did it, the more I realized the gift I was receiving was a 1000 better and cooler than floating out of my body. I was growing a safety and security being in my body I had never felt before. I can not speak highly enough about a daily meditation practice, and TM is the first that worked for me. This week is a rebroadcast podcast of episode #10 because my computer ate this week's new podcast!! This week’s podcast stars friend, paranormal TV star and hero Bill Murphy and his friend John Huckert. John lives in a house with a ghost. The ghost is his roommate and friend. The ghost loves him, and he loves the ghost. They love each other. The ghosts name is Wright with a W. Wright communicates with his human roommates in many ways, with strange sounds, sensations and even touches them. But, that’s not all!! The most extreme communication from Wright, is also the most extreme and compelling evidence I have ever seen documented of proof of communication with the dead! Wright communicates by writing words in what looks like smoke or mist, and the words can only be seen when developed on the film of a camera, specifically a Polaroid camera. It took John quite a while to figure out how to communicate with Wright, but once he did, there are several 1000 photos of questions answered and what seriously looks like smoke letters, like, imagine a mini skywriting plane, flying all around a room writing stuff in the air, sometimes he writes in Latin! This is really the most compelling case I have ever heard of. This is the most heartwarming tales of paranormal friendship I have ever heard! (It also is one of the most extreme and cohesive cases for proof of the supernatural. Whether this is proof of spirit guides/ghosts/life after death, or that love/energy between two people can manifest physically in the third dimension by visual and elaborate writings in ectoplasm, it is an amazing story!!! I think we start out, or are eternally our best true selves. Not that we become that as we grow. The idea is more that when we come to earth, we are our best highest self, but then we are programmed and conditioned to fit in. When we try to fit in, jam ourselves into other peoples ideas of how we should be, and stifle our true being, we suffer, and the suffering can become unbearable. That’s why it’s so important to me that people be seen and heard for who they truly are.
