To develop a love in G-d where you are delighted as you would be with sweet delights, with a great and immense joy and yearning for g- is not in your hands alone. You need to develop "the terrain" being your best, and G-d will do the rest.

";Keser" (Lit. crown) is a euphemism for an encompassing transcendent energy of G-d, which is not normally compatible with the finite and limited nature of the world. This Divine energy will be palpable in Messianic times.

G-d responds the same way we behave to others.

One should not be so exacting one's giving, but go beyond limitation. This elicits a parallel Divine compassion toward us- something we are all in need of.

G-d blessed you. But another person's staples to survive come before your luxuries. Be a giver in a time of need.

Your mind is powerful! Your emotions are born out of what you comprehend and connect to. Think about G-d!

Your pristine G-dly soul years for a relationship with G-d alone. This soul will allow you to negate all obstacles and serve G-d with total dedication.

The quality of mercy is a "beautiful" attribute to have. It allows you to give with discipline. Your kindness will be on display, while you temper it with the perfect amount of constraint.

Although ashes are from wood, they have lost (almost) all comparison to their original form. So too, is the distance from (Abraham's) love of G-d- a characteristic of the Divine soul- and it's Source i,e, G-dly love. Although our capacity to love G-d is a derivative of G-dly love, it is so vastly reduced in its human expression.

Since our sous originate from the Divine and mirror It, we can extrapolate from our own soul-structure a miniscule perception of The Divine structure. Nonetheless, despite the parallels, they are also incomparably distant from one another.

Every year on Rosh HaShana there is a newer and more sublime Divine energy than the previous year, that flows into creation. It becomes manifest by virtue of our good deeds and Teshuva.

The Holy Land of Israel is positioned to receive Divine energy from its Supernal counterpart. This flow is renewed more generally every Rosh Hashana, and particularly each day. It becomes manifest by virtue of our Teshuvah.

G-d's abundant kindness is in store, not only for the individual whose character is likewise expansive, but also for the G-d fearing, who is more introverted.

Regardless of your personality type, divine service demands that you leave that comfort zone. Serve G-d with all your being.

While there exist two very distinct soul-character types- one more introverted, discreet and contained, the other extraverted, flagrant, expansive- we should strive for inter-inclusion, incorporating the opposite trait as well. Ultimately, both stem from one G-d, and both can elicit His unlimited benevolence.

During prayer, the light of the spiritual world is in it's full intensity. This crushes the evil, and transforms it into light.

By nature, the People of Israel are charitable. Kindness thus prevails over judgement.

Bringing about peace and harmony throughout creation is elicited by our Tzedaka. The ultimate peace, though, will only be at the End of Days.

Chessed (kindness) is and (outward) downward flow; 'Gevurah' (restraint) is an (inward) upward flow. Naturally they are contrary.

An awareness that everything comes from G-d- to the extent that it makes a person constantly joyous with his lot- causes that "hidden good" should become "revealed good".

Being conscious of one's faith in The Creator, Who is only good, and runs creation continuously, will bring one to a spiritual state of equilibrium, experiencing all occurrences as only goodness, and transforming apparent negative to positive. It also results in transcendence from material pursuit and constant joy in life.

G-d's limitless kindness and compassion are what we need, given our deficient state.

Teshuva happens in the heart. Still, one needs an action based Mitzvah to draw the Divine light earthward. By virtue of one's generosity with the needy, one merits similar behavior from G-d.

The advantage of Torah- study over other Mitzvos, given the two fold unity achieved. The analogy of Torah to food, which nourishes and nurtures one within, and Mitzvos to clothing, which protect and envelop one from the outside.

Torah and Mitzvos observance have certain definitive guidelines because the Torah and Mitzvos have descended in to this world through the G-dly attribute of Gevurah.

The source of G-dly energy that is evoked through Torah and Mitzvos is infinite. However, in order for this energy to flow into our limited world and be generated through action based Mitzvos, this energy needs to first go through a contraction.

In these times- the advent of Moshiach- Tzedaka is of prime importance, and plays a vital role in manifesting the Redemption.

All out engagement in worldly or business affairs out to be in order to channel the Oneness of Hashem on earth. Hence, in these times, Tzedakah is paramount.

Giving Tzedaka is analogous to seeding. For just as with a seed, what is produced by the seed far exceeds the seed both in quality and quantity, so too with Tzedaka.

In resolution of the question posed yesterday. The analogy of a seed being the impetus for immeasurably greater growth than it itself contains. This is possible since it serves merely as the trigger for the unlimited potential inherent in the earth.

Giving charity before prayer elicits G-d's Kindness. If so, why is my service necessary at all? Because G-d also has the attribute of judgment. The act of Kindness or charity elicits the Kindness of Hashem.

"He sows acts of charity" Why the term "sows". In Isaiah there is a reference to the term sewing- to charity as well. The manifestation of Divinity is granted to man by G-d's loving Kindness flowing. If not for His kindness, we would become subsumed by His light.

Now we address the question regarding the word "lot". This represents the light that is unique to a specific soul. There are commandments that are unique to specific souls, that kindle a particularly luminous revelation, inspiring us to be exceptionally scrupulous in that specific commandment.

Here we will answer why G-d is referred to by Jacob/Israel as "Kail", the name that denotes kindness.Jacob represented all of the people of Israel and contained all souls of Israel.

In continuation to yesterday's portion; G-d's name, a radiation from Him, vivifies and radiates down in this world, in a cascading fashion in a descent that is gradually contracted. The ultimate purpose is man. The rays subdivide in to 613 parts, which then subdivide infinitely.

In reference to our relationship with G-d, words used in parts of our liturgy include "lot" and "portion". What do these mean in relationship to G-d?

All creation comes from an infinite variety and permutations of the letters of the Divine Speech. Physicality gets its life force from the external energy of this life source.

Creation is primarily from the Yud, G-d's seminal Wisdom. The physical world emanates from the Hey. The upper Hey, or lower Hey? This portion of Tanya explains.

The form of the letters is derived from the Seminal wisdom,of G-d. The external matter of the Divine Letters, come from the breath of G-d.

Those who give charity every day, "make" G-d's Holy Name. How so?

"Charity shall cause to go before Him" This verse teaches us that when one gives charity before prayer, this causes the inwardness of one's heart to serve G-d within prayer, bringing it closer "before Him".

Once our heart is truly cleansed from evil, we can feel how G-d is our life force. Giving charity is a spiritual hack to accelerate the necessary spiritual detox.

The divine presence within each person, yet it can become covered up due to sin. Repentance removes that doublecover of insensitivity.

Charity brings redmption.

The light being brought down by the act of kindness, is far greater than all the light in the world of Being.

Just as a coat of mail armor made of many scales, acts of charity join together to protect the soul. Garments formed from the energy of the commandments surround the soul and protect it, as they can not enter the soul for their power is greater than the absorption mechanism of the levels of the soul found in this world. Charity however creates an opening to allow the force of Divnine Kindness to be felt down below. While at the same time, returning back up to create a scale on the coat of mail, protecting the soul from harm.
