The World of Outlaws show at Jacksonville Speedway was a wild one last night, and we are back today to recap it, plus get you ready for a busy weekend of racing for the Outlaws, All Stars, Lucas and USAC. There is also driver and team news from CJB Motorsports.

Coming off the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series weekend at Bristol I wanted to chat with one of the series' full time drivers about the experience, and who better to have then the hottest driver with the series lately. Carson Macedo joins me to talk through his Bristol experience including his performance, whether there is a comparison for the track, how he approached the weekend, and more. We also discuss his 2021 season to date with Jason Johnson Racing, the Ohio to California pipeline that currently includes his brother Cole, and my big championship question. Macedo is such a good guy to chat with, as he's very thoughtful and his passion for sprint car racing is massive.

We found out yesterday that Christopher Bell has put dirt racing on hold for now, and today we've got details and a reaction. We've also got news from Darrell Lanigan and Eldora Speedway, and we'll get you primed up for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Jacksonville Speedway tonight.

Stewart Friesen stayed hot last night, winning with the Short Track Super Series in Delaware, plus we've got a bunch of wild dirt racing stats for you to ponder on this Wednesday.

With Tyler Courtney's recent move to the winged sprint car ranks, there has been a lot of talk about drivers migrating away from the non-wing side. One driver who has bucked that trend though is Paul Nienhiser. The 2019 MOWA sprint car champion started driving winged 410s when he was 15 and has been nearly exclusively a winged guy in the years since. That was until very recently. Paul is currently in his rookie season with the USAC National Sprint Car Series, driving for KO Motorsports as a teammate to Chase Stockon. He currently sits 10th in the USAC national points and is coming off an up and down weekend in Pennsylvania. He joins me on this episode to talk about his transition and getting the opportunity, gaining experience out on the national tour, why he made the move, where will will see him again in a winged car, and a lot more.

In recent weeks we've talked Pennsylvania and California on this show, so I couldn't leave out our Ohio friends when it comes to big time sprint car regions. Jacob Hord from OhioDirt.com and the Ohio Dirt Track podcast joined me, with my original plan being to talk nothing but Ohio. But things sort of blew up yesterday, so we kicked it off talking about the Brent Marks/CJB split, plus where this leaves the All Stars. We then dove into what's been happening in Ohio at places like Attica, Wayne County, and Atomic and what to expect going forward. We also talked about the interesting California to Ohio sprint car pipeline that has sprung up in recent years.

California is always high on the list of dirt racing areas in the country, and after a brutal 2020 due to COVID regulations and restrictions, the state and it's dirt racing are coming back to life. This time on the show I'm joined by Gary Thomas, who announces at Placerville Speedway and works with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour and more, to talk all things California including a bunch of sprint car stuff. We covered off on a bunch of the tracks, the NARC King of the West Series, the Sprint Car Challenge Tour, and talked about a bunch of drivers. Gary is a guy that is super locked into the dirt racing community on the west coast and it was great to chat with him.

We finally got the Eldora Speedway announcement we've been waiting for. Today we look through their 2021 schedule, plus we have news from ASCS, Big Frog Motorsports, a busy week for MLRA, and more.

Chance Crum is a sprint car and midget racer from the state of Washington who's won a ton on the west coast, and in 2021 got the opportunity to run at the Chili Bowl for Clauson Marshall with the Tony Elliott Foundation. He's hoping his impressive C-Main result will translate into more opportunities for racing this year, but for now is making some big changes. As we'll talk about, an upcoming move to Indianapolis will get him much closer to the action. He joins the show to chat about his background, running the Chili Bowl, getting sprint car opportunities, his education with digital media, and a lot more.
