Happy Whiskey Wednesday! Since it is the holiday season and we know you all are spending money on gifts for family and friends, so we reached down low and pulled out a Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond, Old Grand Dad Bottled-in-Bond, Eagle Rare, and Larceny to give our tasting notes and talk a little bit more about finding a quality bourbon for under $30 dollars. #rethinkhowyoudrink and you can have a great experience on a budget. We were lucky enough to have one of our good friends @alildabofbourbon visit us in person in Nashville to help us drink some of the 2017 Yellowstone Limited Edition Bourbon that the good folks at Limestone Branch were nice enough to send us, as well as teach us a few things since she's a Whiskey Sommelier! Since it wouldn't be a Dads Drinking Bourbon episode without a blind tasting, we also put Jim Beam Distiller's Cut up against Bookers' and a Lincoln Road Knob Creek Pick. Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We wanted to make sure you had something fun to listen to if you had to drive, so we made sure we got this one out to you in time. This week, we put two Four Roses juggernauts against each other: 2017 SmBLE vs. Al Young. For good measure, we also put two picks from two of our favorite stores in the blind tasting because their recipes can be found in the other expressions: an OESK from Elixir Spirits in Spring Hill, TN and an OBSV from Carothers Wine and Spirits in Cool Springs, TN. It's Pappy season, and although we aren't lucky enough to say we've got our hands on one this year (Nashville's rough y'all), we relied on some kindness and generosity to put up an Old Rip Van Winkle against two Weller Antique 107 store picks, one that was non-chill filtered and one that was chill filtered, in a blind tasting in an attempt to see if there's really that much of a difference besides a few extra years of aging.
