All Things New: Essays on Christianity, culture & the arts By Jeremy W. Johnston | Foreword by Janice Van Eck This is a collection of essays on Christianity, culture and the arts, most of which appeared in Barnabas magazine over the past decade. The essays are split into 6 sections, focusing on art & creativity, the artist’s call, literature, music, cinema and faith & culture. The idea of the essays is to engage Christians to think through how their faith impacts their interaction and involvement with arts & culture, specifically in seeing the value of the imagination, the enrichment creativity brings to all of society and the delight the arts bring to daily life.

Particular Baptist Heritage Books (PBHB) is a non-profit publishing ministry founded in connection with a local Baptist church (PBHB team) located in the United States, working in harmony with an auxiliary advisory board consisting of Baptist Pastors, Professors and Historians who seek to preserve the history, theology and relevancy of the Particular Baptists by republishing their literary works.

In this week's episode the cohosts interview Jimmy Johnson and Ryan Pendergraft on the doctrine of Irresistible Grace. This episode defines and demonstrates this doctrine. It further defends and devotes this teaching. We hope you are encouraged and profited by this discussion.

In this episode, we speak with Brother Tim Hoak about his teaching series titled "Gospel Parenting in an Upside-down World." The aim of this conversation is to lay some general principles about parenting from a biblical perspective. We cover topics like 1) parental responsibilities, 2) discipline, 3) resources, 4) encouragement, etc.

As a native of Southern California, Eric was graduated from The Master’s University. He served as a youth pastor at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA in the 1980’s while attending The Master’s Seminary (TMS). After a 20-year career in many management and executive advisory roles at FedEx, Eric returned to TMS to complete a Masters of Divinity. He then pastored churches in Kentucky and Bryan, Texas. Eric is currently completing his Doctor of Ministry at TMS. The title of his nine-sermon preaching project is: Work in a Manner Worthy of Your Calling: Practicing Biblical Principles in the Marketplace. As the Sr. Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at The Master’s Academy International (TMAI), Eric provides strategic global communication and reporting to TMAI’s expanding partners and major donor constituency. His Dallas/Fort Worth office location allows Eric to travel both domestically and internationally for his responsibilities at TMAI while remaining involved and under the elders at Countryside Bible Church in Southlake.

Though written thirty-five years ago as Sam Waldron’s ThM thesis, Political Revolution in the Reformed Tradition brings crucial perspective to guide the church and the Christian through perplexing ethical and societal questions that have emerged in the present day. Does the Bible support or prohibit political revolution? What did John Calvin, the founder of the Reformed tradition, believe on the topic of political insurrection, and did his thoughts line up with the Word of God? Does Romans 13 call us to obey the government blindly in all situations? What is the relationship between subordination to civil magistrates and obedience to the same authorities? You’ll find answers to these questions and more in this scholarly examination of the tension between living in the kingdom of God and, simultaneously, in the kingdom of man.

A few years ago we interviewed Dr. Craig Carter and Dr. Chris Bolt on the Covenant Podcast. The topic of our conversation was “Christian Metaphysics, Epistemology, and Apologetics.” Since that time, discussions on Aquinas, Van Til, classic theism, and classical apologetics have been continual and sometimes people have talked past one another.
