During the last segment of the episode, Parashakti Jill, chants each mantra 27 times, in succession, creating a strong transmission of Shakti through the Japa (or repetition of mantra) with proper pronunciation and cadence according to her mantra lineage. THE KEY FOR 2023 and the LUNAR NEW YEAR OF THE RABBIT is Flexibility. Be ready to receive what the Universe throws your way, and discern whether it is a time to jump forward and ride the incoming wave of change, or if you need to integrate, and rest and retreat.Early January offers opportunities to reboot, reset and integrate, before Lunar New Year arrives early this year on 1/22/23. Increased vibrations of light were hitting the planet at the end of 2022, we must use the first three weeks of January to integrate this light infusion on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level before the big energetic upgrades arrive during the 3rd week of January. The Winter Solstice is one of eight annual Solar Festivals. The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year, marking the return of the Sun in the Northern Hemisphere. The Ancients and native cultures have always celebrated these Solar Festivals as powerful times that were worthy of ceremony. Fires were lit to honor the Winter and Summer Solstices, thus the tradition of lighting the Yule Log derives from our pagan ancestors. Theosophical teachings which emerged in the late 19th century, derived from the Vedic wisdom of India, predicted the increasing importance of honoring the full moon, new moon, equinox and solstice cycles during the coming Aquarian Age. Well we are now in that Aquarian Age, and any ceremony or ritual, prayer or mantra that we perform on December 21 will be empowered at this Winter Solstice. I recently lead a workshop in which I shared a journey to the Future Self/ or 5th Dimensional Self. First we must let go of the past. This includes deep healing of wounds from the past or the wounded inner child or younger selves. When planets travel retrograde it’s a good time to practice the “RE” words, related to the archetypal energies of a specific planet. Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, felt a deep heartfelt connection to Yogananda,because of the book Autobiography of Yogi. The only book that Steve had downloaded on his Apple iPad 2 for regular reading was – Autobiography of a Yogi. It is an autobiography written by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1946, in which he discusses his life story,and which introduced many Westerners to meditation and yoga. The book describes Yogananda’s search for a guru, and his encounters with leading spiritual figures such as Therese Neumann, the Hindu saint Sri Anandamaya Ma, Mohandas Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Nobel Prize-winning physicist Sir C. V. Raman, and noted American plant scientist Luther Burbank . There is the famous story of Steve Jobs discovering Autobiography of a Yogi at the age of 17 and reportedly read it every single year of his life until he passed away in 2011 at the age of fifty-six. So that’s nearly forty times. Not only that, but he gifted it to every single person who came to his funeral services. Paramahansa Yogananda was an Indian Saint who was born January 5, 1893 and died on March 7, 1952. He was labeled a “Prema avatar” or incarnation of love. He is best known for his pivotal book, “The Autobiography of a Yogi,” which was published in 1946 and hailed as one of the most important spiritual books of modern times. He began the organization, SRF, Self Realization Fellowship in 1920. Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) is a worldwide spiritual organization fo legally incorporated as a non-profit religious organization to serve as Yogananda's instrument for the preservation and worldwide dissemination of his writings and teachings. SRF continues to educate many on his teachings, and Kriya Yoga, which were the yogic, breathing and meditation techniques taught by Yogananda. . This is a powerful window of time which will have repercussions in the upcoming months as we witness changes in our personal and collective lives. The New Moon Solar Eclipse of April 30, 2022 occurs in the sign Taurus. The Lunar Eclipse of May 16 2022 activates Scorpio with a Full Moon in Scorpio with Sun in Taurus. As you can see, the signs of Taurus and Scorpio are directly affected by these upcoming eclipses.Scorpio and Taurus are money signs. Taurus in our chart indicates our value system and resources, which includes money we make, what we like to spend our money on, and how we cultivate resources and what we value. Scorpio in astrology relates to shared resources, money we receive from others, partner’s money, death, transformation and rebirth.
