Weapons of our Warfare
Have you ever felt agitated without cause, discouraged without reason, or tempted beyond usual? Have you ever had senseless bickering with your spouse, or weird misunderstandings with a friend? These can be examples of spiritual attacks that we all go through. There are spiritual forces of evil at war with spiritual forces of good fighting over us in the unseen realm, which is just as real as the material, physical world in which we live even though we often are unaware of the battle we are in. Today, Pastor Gary teaches about the weapons of our warfare that help us to fight these battles.

Generous Giving
Did you know that giving is one of the Christian disciplines like faith, speech, knowledge, diligence, and love for others? That’s exactly what Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 8:7. The Bible has more than 2,300 verses about money and material things. Jesus spoke more about money than He spoke about faith and prayer combined. Messengers Among Us: What the Bible Says About Angels - Part 1/2
There are a lot of misconceptions on the subject of angels. Many picture them as little chubby cherubs playing their harps in the clouds, but that could not be further from the truth. The Bible has a lot to say about this supporting cast of characters and their role in human affairs. In today’s study, Pastor Austin addresses questions such as, “What are angels?” “What do angels look like?” “What do they do?” “Do they have bodies?” “Are there different kinds and ranks of angels?” and many more.
Finding Perspective in the Pain

Outside Conflicts, Inside Fears
Have you ever had a conflict with someone? Have you ever battled fears? Of course you have! Everyone has. In 2 Corinthians 7, Paul admits to “outside conflicts and inside fears.” He dealt with physical distress on the outside from those who were opposed to him or his message, and he also battled emotional distress from fears within. Pastor Gary addresses these common issues that we all struggle with today in a teaching from 2 Corinthians 7.
The Yoke’s on You
The Bible encourages us to befriend unbelievers so that they might hear about Jesus and see Him in our lives, but the Bible also discourages us from forming partnerships, unions, or bonds with unbelievers. Paul warns us about this for two reasons: incompatibility and influence. Christians and non-Christians have different views, values, standards, and perspectives that will cause friction and strife within a partnership or union. In addition, the nonbeliever has the potential to influence the Believer in ways that might compromise him or her. Pastor Gary helps us to understand the wisdom of this passage in relation to dating, marriage, business relationships, and legally binding arrangements.

Don’t Disgrace God’s Grace
God’s grace is His unmerited, undeserved favor toward us. We are the recipients of God’s grace in various forms. Someone once defined “GRACE” with the acronym: God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. In 2 Corinthians 6:1, Paul warns us that it’s possible to receive God’s grace “in vain.” In other words, we can treat God’s grace with disgrace or contempt by how we behave. In today’s study, Pastor Gary warns us about the five ways we can receive God’s grace in vain.
