Where Did We Come From?
An in-depth study of 1 Chronicles 1-2.
The Rise of AI and the Future of the Church
We are headed into an AI-dominated world. Some might think that statement an exaggeration, but if you turn on the news, you’ll quickly notice that artificial intelligence is everywhere you look and negatively impacting the next generation. In today’s message, Pastor Austin addresses this subject directly; encouraging the church to think Biblically about the rise of AI, its current impact on the modern church, and the way it may be used in the future deception that is to come.

Dead or Alive?
We are all born dead. Does that sound like a contradiction? It’s not. This paradox is the theme of Ephesians 2: that we are all born physically alive but spiritually dead, and that the only way we are made spiritually alive is by trusting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He takes our dead lives and makes them alive! Paul tells us there are three things that work to keep us dead, and three things that work to make us alive. Find out in today’s study as Pastor Gary shares a message entitled, “Dead or Alive?”

The Answer to Identity Confusion
We are living in a world of identity confusion. Our culture is wrestling with questions about sexuality, biology, and definitions of “male” and “female.” Would you be surprised to learn that this is nothing new? Ancient cultures wrestled with the same issues, particularly in the city of Ephesus. When Paul stepped into Ephesus to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he encountered the same chaos that our culture is experiencing today. In response, he wrote Ephesians 1 to remind us Christians of our identity in Christ, so that we can know who we are and whose we are! Only then will we be able to deliver the Gospel to this identity-confused world.

You Reap What You Sow
There is a principle in life that the Bible teaches called the law of “sowing and reaping.” It’s particularly true for Christians who have a choice about whether they will feed their spirit or their flesh. The spirit is that part within us that is redeemed and eternal; the flesh is unredeemed and temporary. The spirit wants to please the Lord, and the flesh wants to gratify the sinful nature. If we nurture our spiritual nature we will reap eternal life. But if we nurture our fleshly nature, we will reap destruction. Follow along today as Pastor Gary teaches the Biblical principle of sowing and reaping and how it applies to different aspects of life.
The Battle of the Flesh and Spirit
When a person becomes a Christian, a battle begins between the flesh and the spirit. The flesh is that part of our lives that desires sinful things; the spirit is that part of our lives that wants to glorify God. Our flesh always wants to dominate, but the Bible tells us to die to self and live in the spirit. Paul writes about this spiritual battle in Galatians 5, and he gives us three practical ways we can win the war within. Follow along in today’s study as Pastor Gary explains this battle of the flesh and spirit.

When Truth Draws Enemies
After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, many are feeling grief, anger, and sadness. Paul asked the Galatians, “Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16). Unfortunately, when we live the truth and tell the truth, many will see us as their enemy. Jesus said that some will even hate us (John 15:18-19). Nevertheless, God calls us to love people, to be bold ambassadors of the truth, and to be unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s time for the church to be the voice of Biblical truth to a dark and evil world!
One in Christ
There are many differences among people—including ethnic, socio-economic, and biological differences. But that does not matter when it comes to our standing in Christ. Paul says that all Believers are ONE in Christ. But the culture views things differently. The culture either denies our differences altogether or exploits our differences to divide people through class warfare and race-baiting. But the church should be the most diverse and unified group of any people on the planet. Join us for today’s Bible study, “One in Christ.”

Reverse of the Curse
The Old Testament Law tells us that anyone who violates just one of God’s commandments is guilty of breaking them all, and that every “lawbreaker” is under a curse. But the good news is that Jesus Christ bore the curse intended for us when He was nailed to a tree! Jesus reversed the curse! Follow along in today’s Bible study as Pastor Gary shares the importance of faith over law and how we are justified by faith alone in Christ alone.
Overcoming "Quiet Christianity"
Sometimes Christians are reluctant to be bold in their faith for fear of what others may think. Even the apostle Peter briefly fell into this trap, and Paul had to confront him about his hypocrisy. "Quiet Christianity" is when you act one way around some people, and a different way around other people who do not share your beliefs. In today's study, Pastor Gary gives us steps to overcome "quiet Christianity" so that we can be bold and courageous in our faith.

Jesus Plus Anything Ruins Everything
Many well-meaning people believe that being a good person is good enough to get to heaven. But the truth is, there is only one way—salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone! Jesus is the only way to heaven. In the book of Galatians, Paul addresses this important truth and says that any person or demon who tells you a “different gospel” should be accursed! Join Pastor Gary for today’s study from Galatians 1.

A Thorn in the Flesh
“A thorn in the flesh” can be anything or anyone that causes you pain or suffering. Paul did not define exactly what his was, but it may have been physical affliction or external opposition. Either way, his "thorn" was painful and difficult, and he learned much from his trial as he persevered through it. How well do you handle the pain in your life? What is your “thorn in the flesh” and how should you persevere through it? Pastor Gary gives an encouraging word to help those who are going through trials in today’s study from 2 Corinthians 12.

The Hope of Heaven
In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul spoke, in the third person, of a revelation of heaven that was too wonderful to describe so that he would not appear to be bragging. But there are more than 575 other passages in the Bible that describe heaven. Pastor Gary shares seven points about the “Hope of Heaven” and invites people to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior so that they can enjoy heaven for eternity after they die. Are you certain that you are going to heaven when you die? Join us for today’s teaching so that you can be sure!

The Ministry of Satan
In a recent Barna study, a mere one fifth of self-identified Christians believe that Satan is living and impactful. However, the Bible is clear that Satan is not only a real, living being, but he is also hard at work in our world seeking to wreak havoc and oppose God and those who follow God. In today’s message, Pastor Austin unpacks the “ministry” of Satan so that we don’t fall prey to the strategies of the Enemy.
"Why, God?" Trusting God in Tragedy
In light of the Texas flash-flood that claimed the lives of more than 120 people, including 36 children, many people are left with unanswered questions. The most common question people ask when struck with tragedy is, "Why, God?" Have you ever asked God, "Why?" Have you ever been through suffering that has left you confused and wondering why God didn’t seem to intervene? In today's teaching, Pastor Gary addresses the hard questions people ask when facing tragedy and offers hope and comfort.

Samson: Pointing to Christ
Samson was a man of great potential, empowered by the Spirit, and given a task from his mother’s womb. But he lived a life of compromise. The little ways that Samson gave way to sin soon grew, leading to terrible consequences that culminated in his death. But even from this fallen man we can see an imperfect type of Christ: a prophesied deliverer who defeated the enemy most in his death. We can also learn that despite how far a person drifts from the Lord, we serve a faithful and merciful God who still draws near to those who cry out to Him.

Have you ever felt agitated without cause, discouraged without reason, or tempted beyond usual? Have you ever had senseless bickering with your spouse, or weird misunderstandings with a friend? These can be examples of spiritual attacks that we all go through. There are spiritual forces of evil at war with spiritual forces of good fighting over us in the unseen realm, which is just as real as the material, physical world in which we live even though we often are unaware of the battle we are in. Today, Pastor Gary teaches about the weapons of our warfare that help us to fight these battles.
