Wendy Adamson is an author, activist, speaker and mother. Wendy believes that only by telling our personal stories can we heal the shame and eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness and addiction. With over twenty years of experience in the field of addiction and mental health, Wendy is a seasoned professional, who not only possesses a comprehensive understanding of the recovery process, but psychiatric issues as well.
Wendy shares her dramatic story of shooting her husband's mistress in a drug-induced psychotic break, to becoming a writer and alcohol/drug counselor who's 25 years sober. Sarah and Wendy discuss forgiveness, soul work, and the trappings of the ego.
