Colonizing Red States with Green Grift | 12/4/24

We begin today with the rumor that Trump is offering DeSantis the chance to be secretary of defense. I dispel some myths about the circumstances and offer some initial thoughts on the opportunities and challenges of this offer. Either way, Trump is moving in our direction on some issues, and we need to be ready to capitalize on this unique opportunity. Next, we’re joined by Oklahoma state Rep. Jim Shaw (R) to discuss Governor Stitt’s plan to colonize the state with wind turbines, solar panels, and transmission lines. Shaw defeated an incumbent by promising to end the land-grab for foreign companies that are destroying America’s heartland with the Green New Deal. He explains how we are funding our own demise by taking land out of food production and using it for expensive and anti-environmental energy sources that will lead to the destruction of oil, gas, and coal. He is planning a legislative counterattack against this dystopian agenda and believes that local farmers, ranchers, and residents are ready to rise up. Learn more about your ad choices. The Moral and Economic Case for an Immigration Cool-Off | 12/3/24

The time has come for Trump to fulfill his 2016 campaign promise to reduce legal immigration. As some Trump confidants make a push for expanding legal immigration, I make the case for Trump to speak with moral clarity on the need to get American workers off the sidelines. I go through the numbers, history, and types of visas to show how we have never had this much immigration. If we merely deport most of Biden’s illegal aliens and nibble around the edges on legal immigration, in five years from now we will be back to square one — or worse. Later on, I discuss how the South Carolina Freedom Caucus is showing us the power of conservative scrutiny of red-state legislatures. We also need to educate Trump early and often on red-state primaries so that we don’t face the same interference we’ve suffered in previous cycles. Learn more about your ad choices. The Two Most Important Issues for Next Year | 12/2/24

Today, I explain why everything will hinge on our ability to cut spending for real and to hold the line on immigration. There is growing concern that the GOP, led by industry lobbyists, is planning to preserve major parts of Biden’s Green New Deal. Unless Trump leans in against these RINOs and is willing to buck his own donors, we will not cut spending, reduce inflation, and succeed in general. I call on Trump to push a reconciliation bill that not only contains tax and regulatory cuts but full elimination of a number of government programs plus a reduction in foreign workers. Unfortunately, many of his donors are pushing for an increase in already high levels of immigration. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Subversive GOP Lie of Cutting 'Waste, Fraud, and Abuse' | 11/26/24

Nothing embodies the GOP and everything that is wrong with it more than Sen. Joni Ernst’s “budget” proposal she sent to the DOGE. Today, I explain how the very RINOs who created the debt bomb wait until they are on the hook for a primary challenge and then suddenly claim to care about spending. But rather than becoming converts to our cause, they promote subversive ideas that are designed to elicit positive headlines from conservative media and defuse a primary challenge – all the while failing to advance the ball on policy. So I delve into her spending cuts to show how 90% of them are built on lies and subterfuge and the rest are notional, speculative, unactionable, and designed to distract us. Finally, I propose a messaging strategy for Trump to push welfare reform by pairing it with reductions of foreign workers. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

A Balanced View of Trump’s Cabinet | 11/25/24

Now that Trump’s Cabinet is pretty much set, I go through my unique perspective on his individual picks and the direction of his administration in total. I’m very concerned about his picks for Treasury and Labor, mixed together with some of the others who will oversee domestic policy. There are three outcomes of this administration, and I raise concerns that one of them is the creation of a new centrist/lean-left coalition that permanently marginalizes conservatives. My concern is that we get all of the left-wing components of populism but not the right-leaning components. With that said, I’m not as concerned about some of the HHS picks as some of my allies. Although the surgeon general pick is terrible, the more consequential positions will likely be occupied by COVID heroes rather than COVID zeroes. We need to remain vigilant to achieve enduring victories before Democrats come back into power, and right now this can go either way. The realm of outcomes is actually, ironically, perfectly represented in this mixed bag of top government appointees. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Future of Fiscal and Social Conservatism | 11/22/24

On today’s special show, I’m joined by Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation, for a wide-ranging discussion on the future of fiscal and social conservatism. Kevin outlines some of the unique opportunities we have to change direction and fuse populist campaign rhetoric with conservative outcomes on budget and inflation. We discuss the need to devolve programs to the states, thereby achieving durable policy victories that will survive a Democrat resurgence. We also discuss the more challenging aspects of social values that are eroding even on the right. Heritage is working on a family policy plan that will cut through the false choices that are presented to women these days. Kevin’s vision is presented in his new book, “Dawn’s Early Light.” Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Election Did Not Change the GOP. We Must Do It | 11/21/24

Both at the federal and state levels, if we fail to put pressure on the GOP, the same leaders and influencers will continue to subvert our mandate. I begin with federal news by noting that Nancy Mace’s fake fight against transgenderism is actually subversive because she is the source of the problem. Also, I delve into Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy's op-ed about “DOGE” and raise some concerns that they are skirting the big spending problems while giving the impression that they are discovering some innovative way to cut inflation simply by making the government more efficient. Next, I go through a list of red-state RINO problems, including the incoming speaker of the Missouri House, Jon Patterson. We’re joined today by Missouri state Rep. Justin Sparks, who is challenging Patterson for the speakership. Sparks warns that Patterson blocked ways to defeat the abortion amendment on the ballot, wants to treat abortion as the law of the land, opposed banning chemical castration, and supported denying organ transplants to those who didn’t get the COVID shots! He warns conservatives to stay engaged in legislative affairs because if they fall asleep, the same bad guys will continue to run the party and the red states into the ground. The RINO Problem Has Not Changed | 11/20/24

After some uplifting news following the election, I bring you back to reality. Congress still has a massive RINO problem. It’s just that members like Nancy Mace ride our wave of success and ingratiate themselves using the successful fight against transgenderism, even though they continue to believe in the radical feminism and gender-bending that created the problem. Also, I’m very concerned about Dr. Oz being elevated to administrator of CMS. Next, we’re joined by Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) who warns that Republicans have not changed their attitude in Congress, and absent outside activists pressuring them, they will return to the same old behavior. In fact, he lists a bunch of bad bills they are already promoting. Chip also lays out the case for massive spending cuts, a cool-off on immigration, welfare and health care reform, and how to utilize leverage points to fulfill the mandate. It's Time for Us to Capture the Youth While We Still Can | 11/19/24

There are signs that Gen Z is fed up with the Left. But we have not yet educated Gen Zers on affirmative good – the constitutional and biblical values that will rebuild civilization. Today, I broadcast with Rick Green from Patriot Academy’s campus, where we delve into the Patriot Academy program to bring college-age kids down to its mock legislative chamber to go through a simulation of a legislative session. Patriot Academy teaches biblical citizenship in a way nobody else does. Rick and I also delve into knotty issues, such as the cultural rotgut on the right, godless conservatism, and why Republican parents are raising Democrat daughters. It all stems from biblical and civic ignorance. If we don’t plug the gap now, we will not have a red America for the next generation. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The GOP Must Become the Daddy Party | 11/18/24

You can win elections on mommy messaging, but you must govern like a daddy. The time has come for Republicans to be honest with the American people. The reason we have inflation is because of the programs people are addicted to. Today, I present a strategy and messaging for Trump to use the veto pen and his bully pulpit as leverage on the few spending bills and reauthorizations of programs that matter. Republicans must lead by example and refuse to spend money on their own pet projects. Next, I delve into immigration. We must stop promoting mommy messaging of “illegal bad, legal good.” Unfortunately, that is the direction many Republicans are headed. Finally, I discuss the need to be the daddy party and categorically oppose the gender-bending of our women. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

How RFK’s Third-Party Run Might Alter History and Is a Lesson Going Forward | 11/15/24

The nomination of RFK Jr. to HHS is a dream come true for the medical freedom movement. But others in the media are missing the salient point about how we got here. Trump was forced to concede the vaccine issue to RFK because he was willing to follow through with an independent run in a way that would have assured Trump’s loss. Today, I make the point that we need to play the same hardball with RINOs who win primaries and demand a seat at the table. This is coalition government at its finest. I also outline what RFK can do administratively without changing laws. Finally, I warn about what it will take to cut spending and that we don’t need a Manhattan Project to downsize government. We just need to be honest. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Without Reforming the Fed, Inflation Will Soar | 11/14/24

Now is the time for serious governing. We need to cut expensive programs and reform the government’s role in our lives. With that said, I explain why I am pessimistic about the current leadership in Congress and their will to change their priorities. I also discuss my thoughts on Trump’s Cabinet picks and note that it’s the West Wing leadership that will control the direction more than department heads. The main course today is a deep dive into how the Federal Reserve is responsible for inflation and the housing crisis and how to reform it. Famed economist Brian Wesbury joins us for a comprehensive analysis of how the Federal Reserve’s mission creep into quantitative easing has contributed to inflation. Brian makes a case for terminating the Fed's ability to focus on employment, ending its authority to buy up assets, and reform its personnel and culture. Learn more about your ad choices. How Trump Can Avoid the Mistakes of the First Term | 11/13/24

Conservatives are celebrating Trump’s Cabinet picks, and undoubtedly the foreign policy and national security choices are great. However, the real shortcomings of the first term were in domestic policy. On that front, we still have a lot of work to do. I explain how success in dealing with inflation boils down to several proposals on cutting corporate and individual welfare and devolving them to the states. Any discussion about “waste, fraud, and abuse” is a fraud. Moreover, we just re-elected the same congressional leaders. Yet the Trump media mob are trying to demand that DeSantis appoint Lara Trump to the Senate rather than using their influence to go after RINOs. Learn more about your ad choices. Transactional Gold in the States Is Our Escape Hatch from Socialism | 11/12/24

First, we review the good, the bad, and the ugly of Trump’s appointees so far. I make the case for shooting down Kristi Noem as Homeland Security Secretary and Scott Bessent as Treasury Secretary. Also, with Marco Rubio becoming secretary of state, I argue that the best person to fill his Senate seat is James Uthmeier, DeSantis’ chief of staff. Next, we’re joined by my colleague Kevin Freeman, author of “Pirate Money,” for an update on his plan to enact transactional gold in the states. He offers a sobering view of the feasibility of ever cutting spending at the federal level. He believes the best we can do is work with the Trump administration to facilitate the designation of transactional gold as functional and legal tender. We are facing unavoidable economic pain; we as may as well build an escape hatch. Kevin has the most realistic plan to do just that. He believes that if Texas and Florida adopt this plan, it will be more transformational than anything we can hope for in Congress. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We’re at the Greatest Crossroads Ever | 11/11/24

We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to forge transformational change, but only through a narrow path of issues and leverage points. Today, I explain how we are only in the pregame show and have not faced the adverse headwinds that will determine whether we succeed or not. On the personal level, going forward, I will not presuppose victory when it's not there yet, nor will I pre-judge failure based on problems with Trump’s first term. Part of utilizing this opportunity is finally leaning into primaries. Many conservatives are upset at GOP senators for supporting the same McConnell-style candidates for majority leader, but they should have gotten involved in primaries. Many of these RINOs are up in 2026, and the time to start planning is now. I also go through some of Trump’s political appointments. Finally, I warn about the coming “economic populism” canard from Democrats and how to disarm it. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Now It’s Time to Break the Democrat Permanent Majority Over Ideology | 11/8/24

We’ve defeated Democrat control electorally, but now it’s time to break the Democrats' permanent majority over ideological issues. Today, I offer a provocative thought – that even as Democrats failed to win a permanent electoral majority, they have created a permanent ideological majority. Republican officials and even their voters now subscribe to so many liberal ideas on fiscal and social issues that are to the left of Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign. Next, I analyze Trump’s appointments and the race for Senate majority leader and offer a principled but pragmatic way to staff Trump’s Cabinet. Conservatives are concerned about the prospect of John Thune for majority leader, but the reason he will likely win is because they slept through red-state Senate primaries. I go through the list of red-state senatorial and gubernatorial elections for 2026 so you can see how big our opportunity is to change the party. If we actually build a movement, we can elect 15 red-state governors who govern like DeSantis, but only if we stay focused and get Trump to make the right endorsements. How to Finally Break the Failed Cycle of Politics | 11/7/24

Now is when the real work begins. Voting is like a gun, but legislative activism is like the bullet to load that gun. Today, I offer a unique presentation on why spectacular electoral victories for the Right always end in both policy and political failure within two years. This time will be no different if we don’t change our approach. Weaving together some electoral observations from the election results together with policy analysis, I offer an agenda built on empowering states to go separate ways on a bunch of critical issues. Rather than promising to cut spending and then never doing it, Republicans should use the few leverage points they have to devolve welfare, agriculture, transportation, and education programs to the states so that they can go in separate ways. We also need to fortify red states from the inevitable Democrat comeback, and that will require a new focus on primaries. We must strike while the iron is hot. We will never enjoy more political capital than today. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

A Historic Mandate … If We Use It | 11/6/24

This time must be different. Today, I explain why and how Republicans can use the mandate they have to save the country and build a durable electoral coalition. If they merely act the way they always do, they will not only screw us on policy but also lose their electoral viability. I explain the mixed bag on coalition shifting, how Republicans might not even win the House, and why the House didn’t track with the presidential election. Based on this assessment, I list some immediate challenges and opportunities. They have a clear mandate on crime and immigration, and those are the best issues for their coalition. Whatever Happens, We Must Make Our Stand in Red States | 11/4/24

Not everything hinges upon the presidency. Today, I take a deep dive into the doctrine of the lesser magistrate and how conservatives can and must create impervious red islands through which to govern in accordance with God and the Constitution. Thankfully, new data shows that people are self-sorting and this is already beginning to occur. If Trump wins, blue states will teach us a lesson in the power of federalism. They are already planning to implement their policies at the state level. We must learn from them and do the same thing if Harris wins. But here’s the kicker: Even if Trump wins, we must fortify red states while we still can. I explain how even some of our federal focus should be directed toward devolving power to the states. We have so much energy behind voting Republican in a presidential election. My final message for this year is that we must harness that energy every day in between presidential elections to focus on red-state primaries and legislative sessions. The Silver Bullet to Solving Illegal Immigration in the States | 11/1/24

Nobody is putting forth a realistic solution to the twin economic and illegal immigration crises we face — regardless of who wins the election. We briefly broach the economic issues to show how we will suffer stagflation regardless of the outcomes, and we need serious thinkers to create escape hatches in the red states. As for illegal immigration, the solution is much easier. We’re joined by Ronald Mortensen, fellow at Center for Immigration Studies and a retired career U.S. Foreign Service officer, who has put forth a comprehensive list of ideas for states to clamp down on identity theft. He makes the case that ID theft is the critical path to illegal aliens remaining in the country and that if states only enforced and augmented those laws, we wouldn’t even need to deport many of them because the employment magnet would dry up. He offers some specific ideas on how states can enforce these laws. Going after ID thefts is the best political, strategic, and legal path to ending the problem, and it can all be done in red states. Florida Amendment 4 as the Turning Point of the American Right and the American Church | 10/31/24

While every conservative media personality is obsessed about cheesy election memes, red states are voting on life-altering ballot initiatives. The Left is outspending us everywhere, and outside Florida, there is no organized leadership at top levels of the party to fight these initiatives. Florida is the one place where churches are fully engaged thanks to the governor. We’re joined by Erik Dellenback, the faith- and community-based liaison to Gov. DeSantis, who shares his work with churches on raising awareness about Amendment 4. He explains the proper role of pastors in this fight and why they have an obligation to fight when politics steps into God’s dominion. He believes that because of their other initiatives, they have successfully created a model partnership with faith-based communities that should be replicated in other states. We also discuss why Republicans have been losing on abortion and how Florida’s efforts on behalf of child adoption are helping staunch that bleeding. Overall, we must engage churches on issues within God’s kingdom if we ever hope to stop the bad actors from "California-ing" red states. Learn more about your ad choices. The Truth About the Federal Response to Western North Carolina | 10/30/24

First, we begin with a roundup of down-ballot news throughout the country. We continue to lack leadership on any of these issues and races outside Florida. Next, we’re joined by Blaze News investigative reporter Steve Baker for a riveting update on the recovery operations in Western North Carolina. Baker has been on the ground with private veteran groups for two weeks and has formulated a clear vision of what is and isn’t going on there. We cut through some of the misinformation on both sides to conclude that yes, the state Guard, FEMA, and the military have been on the ground, but in shockingly low numbers given the magnitude of the tragedy. He explains how during every other equivalent domestic and even foreign natural disaster, we have used a much larger military presence. He also observes how a well-organized cadre of former special operators have changed the way we respond and are building plans and infrastructure for the future. Finally, he discusses his personal fight with the FBI, as he faces prison time for simply reporting from the Capitol on January 6. We discuss the need for Trump to win and pardon nonviolent offenders but also the need for our side to prepare for resistance from terribly misinformed Republicans. Learn more about your ad choices. Republicans Always Surrender Today’s Fight to Chase Tomorrow’s Squirrel | 10/29/24

In our continuing coverage preparing for Republican governance on the other side of the election, I diagnose the problem with the GOP overall. Republicans always focus on yesterday’s issue that is no longer in contention or tomorrow’s distraction that is outside the Overton window. But on the issue in front of us now, which is enough to destroy civilization, they walk in lockstep with Democrats. With that thesis, I give an update on immigration and crime to show how Republicans are actually doing nothing to fight those battles but use cheap talking points about oblique parts of the issue. Likewise, Republicans are basically acquiescing to feminism and gender ideology but are opting to focus on cheap talking points about female sports. I share shocking new survey data showing how feminism and the war on femininity are the source of the transgender problem.   Reply Reply all Forward DH Learn more about your ad choices. What Is the Plan to Deal with the Coming Economic Collapse? | 10/23/24

Everyone thinks that our survival hinges upon the election results. Obviously, we don’t want Democrats, but let’s not kid ourselves into believing Republicans will do anything to forestall the financial collapse, unless we change the policies and personnel. First, I warn about some concerning figures on Trump’s transition team and how we need to be prepared as a movement to veto bad Cabinet picks. Next, I’m joined by Tracy Shuchart, an expert in financial and commodities markets, to discuss the unprecedented market signals we are observing. We go through all of the signals from the S&P, gold, Treasuries, and economic data to show how we are facing an intractable stagflation bomb with the likelihood of a credit and housing collapse. We prove how there is not a single viable policy on the table to prevent this. In the meantime, Tracy offers some investment advice. A Checklist of Action Items if Trump Wins | 10/22/24

We need to seriously prepare a plan to hit the ground running if Trump does pull this one out. I raise some concerns about personnel choices, congressional leadership, and the upcoming lame-duck session. Trump must make it clear that Congress should not pass any transformational bills during the lame duck and that all disaster spending must be paid for with unspent funds from the Green New Deal. Republicans Will Never Solve Border Invasion Until Their Lobbyists Ditch Cheap Labor | 10/21/24

We have a very soft movement that is not willing to power through disruptions in order to pursue good policy. This is true across the board, but particularly on the issue of illegal immigration. I explain how illegal immigration would end overnight if Republicans were willing to go after labor brokers and actually enforce employment laws. The problem is that the Left, through an amalgamation of fiscal, cultural, and immigration policies, has created a self-fulfilling prophecy of Americans not wanting to do construction jobs. Republicans must be willing to power through a temporary disruption by removing illegal aliens, raising wages, and fixing our broken education and welfare incentives. Conservatives need to lead by example. No policy change will happen on its own, and the election will be moot if we don’t build a movement willing to message and implement through adversity. Counterpoint: We Actually Have an Under-Feminization Problem (Among Women) | 10/17/24

Most people are not insane enough to refer to themselves as the opposite gender, but so many of us still act transgender. On today’s special evergreen episode, I share and expound upon Joy Pullmann’s excellent essay “How Feminism Makes Everyone Transgender.” She argues that conservatives have misdiagnosed our societal ills as stemming from too much femininity injected into government by liberal females. But, in fact, those women are extremely masculine and dysregulated. It’s a lack of femininity among a generation of women that is driving them to project their insecurities on society. I make the case that the lack of femininity among women is an even bigger problem than a lack of masculinity among men, and it’s a problem even on the Right. Too many on the Right are harnessing feminism to supposedly fight transgenderism, when feminism is what caused transgenderism and is even more destructive to society. Why the Babylon Bee Is Actually the Most Important Outlet on the Right | 10/16/24

The FBI has now revised the crime statistics to reflect reality. I explain how Republicans have missed an entire decade of messaging and policy opportunities to win back suburban voters on the crime issue. Instead, they pushed jailbreak and bailed out Democrats from their own radical policies foisted upon them by their quixotically unreasonable base. Next, we’re joined by Seth Dillon, CEO of the Babylon Bee. He explains how the Bee is aiming not only to evoke laughter but also to powerfully use the weapon of satire to deconstruct the absurd prevailing narratives in politics and culture. We also discuss the concerns about the growing “woke Right,” which is becoming as mindless as the woke Left. He promises to continue illustrating that absurdity as well with some satirical pieces. Finally, we discuss his activism as a Floridian in fighting Amendment 4, which will kill thousands of babies. The Lifesaving Work of the Florida State Guard and the Need for Strong State Militias | 10/15/24

We begin today’s discussion by observing the budding of a national divorce in Western North Carolina. It’s become abundantly clear that the feds are not really interested in helping, nor are the people interested in accepting the help. We are headed toward red state self-sufficiency, and this effort will be led by veterans. To that end, we’re joined by retired Marine Colonel Mark Thieme, who is now executive director of the new Florida State Guard. He explains the need for the Guard and all of the lifesaving work they have done during natural disasters, as well as missions in North Carolina and at the Texas border. Unmoored from bureaucracy and from any federal control, Thieme is able to recruit talented people with the desire to serve and efficiently utilize their skills for maritime and aviation operations, reconnaissance, and search and rescue to augment the other state agencies. They are light and nimble to focus on the need of the hour. They have gotten so many recruits that they already had to turn away people. The Florida Guard has also been a landing place for veterans who left the service but still want to protect Americans without dealing with woke politics. Republicans Need a 'Day One' Plan to Deal with Inflation and Invasion | 10/14/24

The Truth About the Weather | 10/11/24

There is simply no reason to suddenly believe the recent weather disasters are anything but natural. I discuss the problems with the woke, reactionary right constantly mimicking the left and the need to be more disciplined and effective in pursuit of the truth. We’re joined by veteran meteorologist and long-term forecaster Joe Bastardi of Weatherbell.com to explain the natural phenomenon behind this active hurricane season. He notes that while there might be cloud seeding technology that could potentially induce a snapshot, localized effect on one storm, it is absurd to believe that humans can control the entire atmospheric system that induced this weather pattern. He predicted last year, based on weather patterns across the world, that this would be an impactful hurricane season in the Gulf of Mexico. He also believes we can do a better job forecasting and communicating risk assessment of hurricanes. But ultimately there needs to be humility when dealing with this issue and a recognition that only human problems can be controlled by humans. Let’s leave the atmospheric problems to God. The Bloody Fight to Fully Repeal the Green New Deal | 10/10/24

It’s deja vu. Remember how Republicans promised to repeal Obamacare and then actually preserved it? Well, unless we mobilize against the Green New Deal now, Republicans will not repeal the heart of the green energy subsidies. I warn that the oil and gas industry is already lobbying to preserve the grift and only repeal the tax increases and some regulations. We go through the irrevocable harm that will flow from such a move, the proper strategy and messaging behind full repeal, and the need to pass a repeal bill through budget reconciliation as the first major agenda item. I also explain how we are suffering a stagflation and personal debt crisis, and nobody in the GOP seems to have a forward-looking plan on how to deal with it. Learn more about your ad choices. Why Trump Must Act Immediately and Swiftly on Immigration | 10/9/24

There is little left that we can do to influence the outcome of the election, so we need to prepare to maximize the power we do have under either outcome. I game out the challenges and opportunities for each outcome and what needs to be done. If Trump does win, he must act on deportations and an immigration moratorium immediately. I go through numerous stories of the Biden administration releasing criminals and terrorists into the country, including the latest suspected ISIS member from Afghanistan who was allegedly plotting an Election Day terror attack in Oklahoma City. They are transforming red-state cities at breakneck speed, and we cannot waste any time before addressing this issue. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

How the North Carolina Destruction Brought Out the Best in Private Charity | 10/8/24

First, we begin with the negative aspects of our government and the elements of the culture that they represent. I explain how the worship of virtue-signaling has acculturated too many people to narcissism rather than a true quest to help other people. On the other hand, what we are seeing in red America, led by military veterans, is truly the best of our people. We’re joined today for an on-the-ground status report by Dr. Mollie James, a critical care physician who is working on medical triage in the mountains. With her is Dan Nunez, a military veteran and local resident who is coordinating the search and rescue efforts from the Avery County airport. He paints a vivid picture of the dire human needs in the remote mountains but also the superb unity among the veteran organizations that are pooling together their talents to navigate this living hell. They make it clear that they have barely seen a federal presence in the remote areas and that frankly, they feel the private organizations will do a better job. You can donate to the cause at HopeMill.org or join Mollie’s medical team by emailing [email protected]. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Imagine if Every Red-State Governor Were Like DeSantis | 10/7/24

DeSantis has been confronted with so many crises, yet he is tackling each one plus helping other states. Today, I explain how DeSantis is like the "Chuck Norris of governors" and what we can learn from his style of leadership. I also juxtapose what he has done in Florida with what the feds have done in Western North Carolina and build the case for us to create our own civilian civil defense organizations through the sheriff’s departments of each conservative county. We are living under a broken social compact, but the aftermath of this crisis has shown us a path forward to rebuilding our own compact. Finally, I commemorate October 7 and derive three critical lessons for America based on Israel’s experience with Islamic barbarism. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Face of Vaccine Injury: Alexis Lorenze’s Story | 10/2/24

We begin today with an overview of the vice-presidential debate. Overall, JD Vance helped himself by effectively making Kamala the incumbent and showing the American people a MAGA vision without personal baggage. However, we have work to do as a movement articulating many policy ideas. Next, we’re joined by Alexis Lorenze from her ICU bed where she is being treated for horrible scabbing over her body. Alexis and her nurse advocate, Angela Wulbrecht, tell her horror story of being forced to get three vaccines in order to receive treatment for a rare blood disorder. Within minutes, her entire body was injured and her beautiful body was contorted with Frankenstein-looking burns and swelling. Shockingly, until Angela came to her side, she was denied treatment and even mocked. This story needs to be the national face of both vaccine injury and the growing trend of maltreatment in hospitals. We need to demand more informed consent and accurate data when it comes to vaccines, and we must protect those most vulnerable who are particularly targeted for excess vaccination. With a Broken Social Compact, What Is Our Recourse? | 10/1/24

It is incontrovertibly clear that we have a broken social compact. Today, I juxtapose what our federal government is doing for illegal aliens, Ukraine, and Iranian allies to what it is not doing in Western North Carolina. The seeds for a national divorce are there, as we see conservative Americans and the Florida State Guard step up to help the victims of the hurricane. I make the case for the creation of robust State Guards in red states and sheriff’s posses at the county level so that conservatives can channel their patriotism, love, talent, and energy into service they believe in. I also delve into the shocking criminal alien numbers and why those figures don’t capture the full universe of criminality. Unfortunately, we have weak Republican governors who don’t share our values. Why? As I note at the end of the show, a story out of Idaho demonstrates that the root problem of what ails red America lies in weak or subversive church leaders. Learn more about your ad choices. Debunking the Lie of Global Warming Fueling Hurricanes | 9/30/24

We begin today’s show with a discussion about what is and is not the role of government in disaster relief. I observe how our government has bankrupted us with so much wasteful spending but then is slow to respond when our own countrymen are trapped in a flood. The contrast to DeSantis’ management is palpable. Next, we’re joined by Chris Martz, a brilliant young meteorology student who has put together a presentation showing the historical context of hurricanes. He proves that there is no definitive long-term trend in the frequency and intensity of hurricanes in our part of the world, much less a correlation with global warming across the earth. We delve into various natural weather phenomena that explain the disaster in North Carolina and why the notion that either global warming or “weather modification” is responsible is absurd. The Challenges and Opportunities with Private School Vouchers | 9/27/24

Today, we do something different and have a friendly debate over the prudence of the school voucher revolution in red states. Most conservatives have embraced this policy, but some have concerns about it possibly leading to government control of private schools. On net, I believe these policies are the best we can do given the strategic disadvantage we have against public education. However, my guest today, Gary Humble of Tennessee Stands, joins us to debate me over his concerns about the voucher program. He is worried about this program being structured like an open-ended entitlement, the budgetary effects, and most importantly the strings that typically come attached to such funding. We both agree that at a minimum, school vouchers are an incomplete solution to education refor and must also be accompanied by strong protections against state mandates on private schools, an effort to reject federal education funding, and structuring the program in a way that looks more like a tax credit than an entitlement. These are the sorts of policy discussions we need if we are going to have any hope of saving red states. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Federal Judge Rules EPA Must Correct Fluoride in Water: What’s Next? | 9/26/24

This is the story of the century. After 70 years of debate, the government’s own data says and a federal judge believes that the current level of fluoridation of most of our water poses an unreasonable risk of neurotoxicity. We’re joined today by Michael Connett, the lead attorney in the federal lawsuit that might lead to the banning of fluoride in our water. We discuss the legal authority he creatively used to secure this ruling and what comes next. Connett uses his wealth of knowledge about fluoride to show that placing it in the water is senseless and poses the greatest risk without even actualizing the supposed benefits that are achieved through voluntarily using it in toothpaste. Although this should be the biggest national issue of our time, Connett notes that we can easily force corrective action at the local government level and demand that this known toxin be removed from our water. Time Is Running Out to Fortify Red States | 9/35/24

This week, Republicans are proving that they do not share our values and will never fight for us in Congress even on a winning issue like the border invasion. They are not the stupid party; they just don’t believe in what you and I believe. Sadly, this is a problem even in red states. Today, I show examples, beginning with Nebraska, of how unfaithful Republicans help turn red states purple because they share power with the Left. I contrast this to Florida, where DeSantis uses the power of the state to push our agenda and crush the Left. This has caused even major corporations to side with DeSantis because he makes it clear where state priorities lie. I also offer new insights into how red states can deter illegal immigration. If they fail to do so, red America will no longer exist. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Most Important Down-Ballot Elections to Bookmark | 9/24/24

Bookmark today’s show for all your friends and relatives. I go through almost all of the critical ballot questions in numerous states and explain their importance and how conservatives should vote. This is where you can have the biggest impact on civilization issues that are often closely divided. I also go through some important state supreme court elections – both nonpartisan ones and retention ballots. It is shocking how there is nobody else focusing on these elections when they will determine whether we have a lifeboat or not if things don’t go our way at the presidential level. Fighting Social Transformation Without Representation in Charleroi, Pennsylvania | 9/23/24

We begin our discussion today by chronicling the House GOP’s final budget betrayal and Republicans' sophistry in fretting over a government shutdown. Next, we’re joined by Nate Hochman of America 2100, who has done on-the-ground interviews with community members of Charleroi, Pennsylvania. This is a small town in red America that has been overrun by Haitian illegal aliens. Nate explains how local business interests and unsavory GOP politicians have helped bring them in for cheap labor and turned the quaint town into a third world labor barracks at the expense of the locals. This is taking place all across America. We go through housing, transportation, schooling, and culture to show how towns like Charleroi are being overrun and transformed. Clearly, a lot of illegal activity and rule-breaking is occurring for these people to have settled in the town. There is a need for local Republican officials to use ordinances and zoning to stymie the invasion. Red states must use the criminal justice system to go after labor brokers who are engaging in human trafficking that leads to the resettlement of our towns. Learn more about your ad choices. Cleaning Up the GOP’s Curb Appeal | 9/20/24

Today, I deviate from our typical policy discussion to learn lessons from the collapse of Mark Robinson in North Carolina. The reason we can’t even get our foot in the door to win on policy is because the fake conservative movement has a massive image problem with voters. I pick at an uncomfortable scab ailing the Republican Party, which is rampant morality problems that harm Republicans' image with hypocrisy. I offer both the strategic and theological case for building a movement only around those who live the lives of conservatives. Moreover, we need to move away from picking candidates based on superficial factors, such as race or viral moments, rather than a consistent track record of effectively living and fighting for our objectives. Using Our Red-State Power Before We Lose It | 9/19/24

The clock is ticking. It’s not just that we have endless untapped political opportunities in red states. It’s that if we fail to utilize them, Democrats will eventually fill the vacuum, as we are seeing in Alaska, Georgia, and Arizona. I discuss as a case study the story of the Kentucky governor banning mental health counseling for kids suffering from gender dysphoria. This is able to happen in a state Trump carried by 30 points only because we have failed, and continue to fail, to place conservative ground game and education in states where voters broadly agree with us on the issues. I contrast this to Florida, where on issue after issue, DeSantis is utilizing power to destroy the Left. But even there, most Florida Republicans will go back to their old ways unless we elect a governor who is of the same caliber as DeSantis. Learn more about your ad choices. How the Government Hides Crime Waves with Garbage Data | 9/18/24

What’s worse – the government’s COVID data or crime data? We begin with a discussion about new monkeypox vaccines being dangerous. Also, we delve into the story of Alexis Lorenze, who faces life-threatening injuries from being forced to get three vaccines in order to get treatment for a serious illness. We must promote a bodily autonomy right against coerced medical procedures in every state. Next, we move on to crime data. We’re joined by my friend Sean Kennedy, executive director of the Coalition for Law, Order and Safety and expert on crime policy, to discuss all the ways the FBI has distorted the crime data to show a “historic” drop in crime. In fact, officials have changed the way they count, they use multiple methodologies, and there is so much missing data. This is proven by several parallel measures that indicate crime is either going up or coasting at high levels, depending on the category. We also discuss the appallingly low clearance rates for crimes and how, given the technology we have, it should be impossible for street thugs to evade law enforcement. Yet there is a political ideology pervading most political leaders that makes them pro-criminal. This is why they want to cover up the crime bubble, so they can absolve themselves of any responsibility to deter, apprehend, and incarcerate dangerous people. Learn more about your ad choices. Innovative Ideas for States to Stop the Invasion | 9/17/24

Today, we celebrate Constitution Day and the system of government we once had but no longer do. However, what we still have in place are sovereign states. Today I make the legal argument for states to deter the border invasion. We’re joined by Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies, who proposes several innovative ideas for states to use their police powers to deter the invasion. She believes the key is to leverage criminal laws on employment, human trafficking, drugs, vagrancy, trespassing, and other relatively low-level crimes to threaten the illegal aliens with prison time but also offer them a ticket home to avoid that prison time. She also discusses the importance of enforcing employment and trafficking laws against labor brokers who staff businesses with illegal aliens, in addition to states clamping down on identity theft. Yes, the Left Wants Us Dead. What Will We Do About It? | 9/16/24

What Ryan Routh, the alleged assassin who tried to take out Trump, represents is a radicalization of the white, educated class of this country. I go through the Ukraine, COVID, and J6 frenzies to show how the Left has created a blood libel to delegitimize our rights and even green-light the suspension of our liberties … or lives. This is why we need to self-separate and create red enclaves that are just as emphatic about our beliefs as their areas, where the people are willing to die for their beliefs. Yet the majority of red counties are run by liberal Republicans. I discuss Springfield, Ohio, a Trump+23 county, where the local Republican officials are more bothered by the memes about illegal immigration than the illegal immigrants themselves. We must build a movement nationwide to populate local offices of red counties with actual conservatives. If we don’t do that, we will very soon face the stone-cold reality of every county being run by those with the worldview of Ryan Routh. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Future of Social Conservatism with Allie Beth Stuckey | 9/13/24

We begin today by comparing Florida to other red states to show how Florida is the only state where we have a governor using the personnel and levers of power to promote our values. In other states, weak Republicans have allowed judges and nonpartisan officers to essentially nullify the will of the legislature. This is all because Republicans have lost their biblical compass. On that note, we’re joined by BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey, who offers us a riveting diagnosis of the rotting conservative movement and the future of social conservatism. She explains how Republicans fail to speak to the morality and empathy of a policy issue, which is how the Left is able to needlessly peel off married women. This is the thesis of her upcoming book, "Toxic Empathy." We also discuss the fact that Republicans need to lose some of their stupid "woke Right" image that needlessly turns off voters, rather than ditching biblical values.
