Ep 6765. Episode - Beyond KPIs: The Power of Holistic Leadership for Motivation, Engagement, and Long-Term Success
This topic is so important to me and very close to my heart, because our clients achieved an outstanding results with focusing on all three levels of leadership. I am looking forward to bring some of our clients to the show very soon. Three components in leadership and human needs, our CEB™ method developed by The Mentoring Effect. I can't highlight enough the importance of taking a holistic approach to leadership, which involves developing cognitive, behavioural, and emotional intelligence. It suggests that relying solely on key performance indicators (KPIs) can lead to burnout, low morale, and underperformance. By prioritising a more comprehensive approach to leadership, leaders can inspire and engage their teams to achieve sustainable results, and create a positive work culture that fosters high performance and motivation. Ep 6260. Episode - How to become more self-aware and emotionally fit leader #leadership #growth #inspiringleadership
Welcome to amazing 2023. Theme of the year is gratitude, generosity and growth. Why is that? First of all being grateful creates higher vibration and positive emotions and energy. We want to work and think from that state to improve our intellect and intuition. I decided to share something from very beginning of my personal growth journey. Three states to understand while moving to emotional fitness and conscious living. 1. Unconscious - is the first step and majority of people stay in this natural unhealthy state for the rest of their lives. At this state you believe you are not in control and your emotions are in control instead. Hormones are triggered, leading too often to stress response (reaction). This brings a state of imbalance in the brain. Impulses of fear and anger are weakening the highest centres of decision making. Destructive behaviours are learned and this is creating unhealthy and negative emotional habits. 2. Awareness - in this state the person is able to say "I'm feeling X(anger, frustration, love etc)!" Which is the first step to bring "X" into balance. The higher brain offers judgement , putting emotions into perspective. Memory tells the person how this emotions worked or didn't in the past and what they caused. You are reaching the first step of detachment here. 3. Self-awareness - If you are self-aware you become unique, smarter and more respected. I am feeling "X", turns into questions: "What is the trigger of this emotion? What does that mean? Where is this taking me? Is this serving me or not? Is this emotions helping me to achieve what I want resourceful and sustainable way?" Self-aware questions are the keys that make consciousness expand and when that happens, the possibilities are infinite. Ep 6159. Episode - Leadership & Supply chain. #Circularity with Chris Trowbridge #supplychain
"The key think to positive change is to make conscious decisions and choices." Chris Trowbridge I am so grateful and excited to having conversation with Chris Trowbridge "supply chain person" Chris describes himself as the “Supply Chain Person” and is working with his business partner Kim Horwood the “Environmental Person” to bring change to the world through supply chain, and are helping companies strategically shift to more circular and sustainable supply chains, or greening the supply chain as they like to say. ECO Circular Sustainable Supply Chain assists companies unlock their supply chains, design out waste and pollution and meet their commitments aligned to their ESG Frameworks, while enhancing supply chain performance. There is more to say but let's start with their project: ECO stands for Educate / Consult / Operate, which is our systematic approach in engaging with businesses through to operational execution. I am coming from different perspectives, from p[perspective of leadership and it's impact on behavioural and thinking change which has to happen first in my opinion. We need to change as individuals because we co-create production by our behaviour. We are creators of our own market and what companies offer to us. Please submit your questions for Chris and I for the next episodes about leadership and behavioural change, circularity and supply chain. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Ep 6058. Episode - Be Do Have thinking pattern for happiness #conscious #leadership
Welcome to your 2023. I wish you all an amazing, successful year full of joy, happiness, adventure and clarity. Did you notice that most of the time people say: “I will be happy when I will get new job” or "I will be happy when I'l have more money or more time." And so on... I would love to challenge this type of thinking. I have found it is the other way around. We use the model of thinking "Be Do Have" To feel fulfilled, successful and happy you must embody “BEING” with all virtues, values, beliefs and attitudes of someone who already has what you want. Think about who you want to be first. Who do you want to model? How do you want to feel? How do you want to act? What standards do you need to have? What mindset do you need to develop? What virtues do you need to develop and demonstrate? What values do you need to demonstrate and live? What beliefs do you need to shift? Everything starts with our thinking and that creates the way of being. If you think you need to make money or have more time to be happy, you are wrong. Happiness comes from inside. It is your choice. You choose to be happy or you choose to be unhappy. You can be happy in any given moment of your life. All you need to do is to embody the state of "being" you wish to feel, experience or have. Think about a few questions and write down who you want to be or become this year. Contemplate on those questions below: 1. What would I want to experience in life, if money and time were not an issue? 2. How do I want to grow? 3, What do I want to contribute to this world? 4. Who am I? Who am I here? 5. What does a successful life look like for me? Enjoy your growth and learning. Ep 5856. Episode #leadership - Focus on more being less doing
I am always very excited when I have the opportunity to speak about being and coming back to our tru self. We developed identities and masks we think are serving us but later on in life, we realise they actually not serving us and they do actually the opposite. To live by expectations of others and live by the program we created sometime in the past could create a lot of mixed feelings and unfulfillment. We can feel loneliness, anger, frustrations and feeling lost or sometime even paralysed. When we start to look deeper into those feelings we realise it was all created in our mind. The way we decided to think and the way we decided to be perceived shaped our inner world and our behaviours. As a leader or business owner we need to start our own journey of self-discovery and awareness and understand why we do what we do. Understanding who we truly are when we are not a parent, a boss, an owner, a founder, a mentor or a wife or a husband will change the way you experience the world. When you become that pure expression of yourself and come back to joyful and loving "you" again you realise that it's so easy to inspire people, motivate them or positively impact other people lives and careers. Being "authentic you" will help you to feel more confident and calm. Being and feeling calm will help you to lead people the way they feel more understood, heard and seen and also happier and inspired. Understanding yourself and others is the key to success. Ep 5755. Episode - The way you do small things is the way you do all things #leadership #connection
Leadership is influence. We are all influencing people around us at every moment. We all are influencer without even thinking about that. Do you feel the massive responsibility of leadership and how important is to be a leader and great human being all the time? How important is to focus on your behaviour and emotional state that is going to be a positive example for all around you? Can you create a little smile on your face when see someone around? Can you call someone or write a comment about their strengths and acknowledge them for things you love about them? Can we bring more love and attention to each other at this moment and forward? I am so excited to see and feel more love my friends. We all need love and connection. That is our core human need. Ep 5654. Episode - Trust and Engagement#engagement #collaboration #trust
I decided to continue on our last week topic about engagement and how to motivate people. All what I would like to say is, it all starts with you. It starts with a leader and their confidence and inner trust. Trust and authentic leadership starts from within. In the workplace, people can't do their best work if they doubt their leaders, themselves, or others' intentions or capabilities, the direction or viability of the organisation. Most importantly, if they doubt their own ability to keep up with the demands placed on them or they doubt their importance and contribution it can have massive impact on their behaviour and performance. The old approach of leadership doesn't work anymore and from long-term perspective it is not going to sustain growth and innovation. The new approach of leadership especially in a space of engagement and motivation is coming from understanding others and understanding their thinking and behaviours on a deeper level. Where do we start when we want to build this level of understanding? With ourselves. Ep 5553. Episode -Leadership and how to approach and think about disengagement #thinking
Thank you for tuning into our new episode. Today I would like to share the topic of "disengagement" from my perspective and experience as an employee. We know the trend of disengagement is increasing and we can find thousands of articles and research about millions of people who are not going above and beyond at work and just meeting their job description and it could get worse. This is a problem because most jobs today require some level of extra effort to collaborate with coworkers and meet team and customer needs. I am talking about new level of leadership moving from "doing, controlling, commanding or tasking" to inspiring, trusting, and influencing positive way. This change and hunger for the great high-performing culture requires shifting in leadership skills focusing on mindset shift, thinking, feeling and behaving in alignment with psychological safety and mental agility. Create a great culture requires real deep people and social skills. Understanding people is the key to success. How to understand people better? Ask them the right questions, learn active listening to get into their mind and patterns with presence and good intention. Ep 5452. Episode - Overwhelm and our thinking
Thank you for being here and listening. This episode is dedicated to my two clients they feel too many times a day overwhelmed. Overwhelm can be present from various reasons. Usually the reason to feel overwhelm is if it's just too much for us. What I mean by that? - we are trying to chew too many things in once, - we are experience very high workload - we are too worried about things or - we are trying to eat the whole elephant in one bite How we can stop or decrease the feeling of overwhelm? First of all pause and breathe. Think about what triggered your feeling of overwhelm. Is it that you have too many things to solve in once? Is it that you don't know what is the next step or you don't know how to do something? The first step to get out of it is to pause and breathe but what next? Prioritise. Think about one and most important question. "What is that one thing I can do, right now, smallest step I can do. The step that will move me forward? The small step can be one phone call, ask for help, one email or one short walk. Whatever your goal is the small steps ad moving forward is the key to success. Ep 5250.Episode - How to become a high-level servant leader #leadership #motivate
Welcome everyone, My favourite topic how to become more servant and move from egocentric to influential and inspirational leadership! I shared a few things and I will probably just wrap up a few ideas. Why to be a servant leader is so important? Well, it will help you to: - improve performance and productivity - reduce mental blocks and limits - reduce stress levels and mental burnout - improve time management, communication and confidence Some insights to share: Healthy brain, healthy thoughts = more resilient brain! Understanding yourself = deeper understanding of others! Shifting your paradigms = do and be more POTENTIAL for others! Ability to be more sensitive to micro changes in human behaviours = creates more ethical and empathetic leadership! Ep 5149. Episode - How to feel empowered and increase confidence - Perception change
Welcome all, Wow what a topic. I love to talk about our perception and how we create our reality. What a topic and what a tool to have to navigate our life, career and emotional rollercoaster as a leader or business owner. If you understand the fact that we are fabricating our reality on daily basis and also understand that everyone else does it too, then you will start to see the world and situations from new level of perspective and to see and respond to your emotions from higher level of intelligence. Great daily exercise: when you start to feel any anger, frustrations or negative emotions in your body, ask yourself: "What is my story?" "Is that even true?" If you get an answer and see how you created your perception about the situation let it go and create a new thought. Positive one. Thought that serves you and your health. Ep 5048. Episode - How to improve employees engagement in three simple steps
Welcome all, I believe same as I, you will find this topic very important. I can only give you a few tips in this short time but hopefully you will be able to try at least one of those steps. Why engagement is so important? Engaged employee leads to long term employee retention, higher performance, organisational health, improved people's well-being and quality of work, and of course customer satisfaction and organisational success. Why then we don't focus on the engagement that much? Because the engagement is still not perceive as a major objective for the company success and results. Even though it is so clear and also researched and proved that engagement has direct impact on performance and results. The second issue why leaders and managers are not focusing on this objective is, they don't know how, they don't understand human behaviours, energy and thinking patterns in depth, they have no idea how to measure an interaction and are not sure what and how this can be improved to directly benefit the result. Anyway, now when you know please check those 3 simple steps you can start with and see what changes you can notice when you focus on values, communication and intention. If you would like to learn more, book a quick conversation with us to see if we can help you to become more influential and innovative leader. https://meetings.hubspot.com/alex1055 Or check our leadership mini course we give you as a gift today: https://thementoringeffect.com/leadership-success/ Speak soon Alex Terrey Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 4947. Episode - Leadership - How to change behaviours and unproductive routines
Hello and welcome to my new episode. Today session is more practical. We are not highlighting leadership as a problem but leadership as a solution. Learn how to change, how to help others to change and how to recognise triggers of unwanted behaviours or action. We are using a micro-habits tactic as a culture change tactic because this can be implemented in any organisation or team without trying to change the whole structure and systems. This is a great tactic for a change especially in environment with a low mental agility and psychological safety. Behavioural change can start only when we understand the process and especially trigger. A micro-habit is a small action that requires minimal effort or motivation to complete. The accumulation of micro-habits can have an important positive impact. It’s repeated over and over during the course of a day or week. It ́s a fundamental “technique” to make a change plan become exponential. The beauty of a micro-habit is that you can make a huge impact without large amounts of energy, major plans, or coordination. This is because of a psychological phenomenon known as the behavioural impulse or trigger. Behaviour: The way in which person act and respond to a particular situation or stimulus (thought). Let's have a look how we can change: 1. Understanding TRIGGER first. What was the thought before the unwanted behaviour was produced? 2. Routine - what is the behaviour what happens when we are triggered? Is that resourceful and sustainable behaviour or not? 3. Reward - what is the reward, the feeling we are getting when we produce unwanted behaviour? 4. Please add CELEBRATION as a fourth step when you consciously improving this cycle of behaviours. Celebrate when you change your trigger and routine. Celebrate new behaviour and result. Acknowledge yourself or others. Have fun Please check our new leadership 6.0 program here: https://youtu.be/GCMlSTO5_kk Or book a chat here: https://meetings.hubspot.com/alex1055 Alex Terrey MEc @thementoringeffect #leadership #thementoringeffect Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 4846. Episode - How to become the most impactful leader by Alex Terrey- Leadership 6.0 model
Welcome to my new episode - How to become the most impactful leader - Leadership 6.0 model introduction. I believe there is a massive gap in traditional leadership education that needs to be urgently shifted to the next level of human being, emotional awareness and experience. It has to be lifted to a personal level of understanding behaviours, thinking and emotions and how those impact culture, organisational health and well-being. Leadership 6.0 is a six-step formula to achieve organisational health and high-performance culture by utilising and mastering those six areas: 1. Yourself 2. Your brain 3. Emotional fitness 4. Ep 4644. Episode - Culture change - How to improve employee retention and keep high-performers in your team?
Welcome to our next episode: How to improve employee retention and keep high-performers in your team? Thank you for joining me today. Today's competitive advantage doesn’t go to the company with the best widgets. It goes to the organisation with high organisational health that can reinvent itself and defend itself from attackers - wherever they may come from- better than anyone else. (Colin Price Business consultant) We are only recently facing exponential growth challenges and also another big challenge such as employee and customer retention issues. We are in really challenging times and more we understand it is not all about processes and structures in the first place but also about learning and integrating new skills like: Understanding and mastering organisational social patterns Creating a high level of mental state and agility Focusing on improving the level of organisational health Understand neuroscience and how the brain works and utilising it to drive high-performance and wellbeing Turning from individualism to collective effort and collaboration by understanding individuals and team dynamics A healthy business is one in which people feel confident, where there are fewer political decisions and greater collaborative effort, where conflict is used as a tool for continuous improvement, and where individuals can find and use techniques to overcome human limitations when facing constant change (E. R. Buhler: Leading exponential change) Now where to start? I put together a few steps: 1. Create a clear vision of what your great team culture should look like, and what you feel, see and experience. How the interaction is happening and what values do you want to see to be demonstrated. 2. Observe and describe how it looks right now. What behaviours and values are demonstrated? 3. Decide what is the #1 issue (behaviour, habit) you would like to change and what is the habit that causes the damage to your culture. 4. Have this conversation with your team, take them for lunch and talk about the culture they wish to create. 5. Start with one habit change or one behaviour change. Decided which behaviour you will replace with a new behaviour that serves great culture. If you are prepared to create a change and would like to talk about this topic please follow the link below to book a session https://meetings.hubspot.com/alex1055 Or get into our free leadership and culture mini-course: https://thementoringeffect.com/leadership-success/ Wish you all the best on your leadership journey Alex Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 4543. Episode - Leadership - Does behaviour and thinking matter more than KPIs?
Welcome to my new episode about culture change and how behaviours and attitudes influence your performance and results. We are all striving for more sales, more clients, and more $$ but we are forgetting that how we get there and achieve those results is more important than the fact of hitting the goals. I am not saying the KPIs are not important. Of course, they are. Without sales and revenue results even I wouldn't be here and have my business. What I am sharing here is that we could start to ask different, better questions. W can shift the thinking of our team and improve behaviours to create better results. Instead of just asking "Did we hit the goal?" - we can start with: How did we get here? How did we achieve it? Did we include everyone? Did we give space to others to express their opinions and come up with ideas? Did we create a safe work environment? Did we demonstrate our values and how? Launching now! https://thementoringeffect.com/leadership-success/ Did you know, that a leader with the right tools and attitude can create a high-performance culture that attracts great talent? With the right behavioural and thinking tools and understanding of how to move away from only measuring KPIs to measuring organisational health and behaviours, you will shortly become the best in the field. We could be on this journey with you and you could be the one who brings new measurements of organisational health, psychological safety, behaviours and mental agility to your organisation or business. You will learn processes and structures to create a high level of performance and health. If you are a leader who values personal development and growth, likes to implement forward-thinking and innovations and wants to create a positive sustainable change, high-performance, efficiency and better results. Ep 4341. Episode - Leadership - Conscious living and conscious leadership vs living on automatic
Thank you for joining me today. Conscious leadership and conscious living are my favourite topics and I would love to share a few insights today. How to live a conscious life Our beliefs create our reality. You probably heard me talking about this topic in my podcast. We project our thoughts, beliefs, feelings and attitudes onto the world. We are able to create a different world by changing our beliefs about the world. Our inner state creates the outer. We can believe that our life is a love story, a drama or a horror movie. We can become directors of our show. Decide what type of movie you want to direct. What are conscious living and conscious leadership? Living consciously is about taking responsibility, and taking control of your life. It is about thinking about your decisions rather than making them without thought. It is about living at cause and not at effect - live the life we can become director of and not live our life like it just happened to us. It is about having the life that we want. We are most of the time living our life subconsciously, which means automatic life. We adopted making decisions the way “WE ALWAYS DID IT THAT WAY” If you continue to let your thoughts, beliefs, choices and behaviours and attitudes run on automatic without a critical assessment of their effectiveness and without purpose you will feel diminished and tired. You will feel depleted even when you are rested. Conscious living is deliberately responding to life, rather than merely reacting to it as we previously have. It is the understanding that the smallest moments shape your destiny, how you behave around people, how you greet someone, how you look at someone and smile or not, whether you hold a grudge, frustrations, anger, how you support yourself through challenges, how you care for your living space. All of these small moments add up to the sum total of your day, which becomes the sum total of your week, then your month or finally your life. CONSCIOUS LIVING IS WHEN YOU RECOGNISE THAT IT ALL MATTERS. Ep 4038. Episode - Leadership - Self-control and its impact on our success.
Thank you for tuning into my podcast today. I believe you will enjoy another great topic about ourselves and how we can better manage ourselves. Today’s topic came up a few times from my work with my clients and conversations with fellow coaches. We talked about self-management, self-regulation or self-control on a daily basis. Especially now, a lot of business owners and leaders are complaining about being busy all the time. All I hear is “I am busy,” "I am too busy to change because when Monday hits we are already in old habits and working the same way as last week and it is the same cycle, on and on and on, all the time." Now, if this is you, I will pause you here and ask you to take a deep breath. Being busy is a choice! It is our responsibility! Our choice of life. And if you say no that’s not true. I would ask you then, why are you still busy? Why didn't you stop or pause for a moment and you didn’t re-evaluate what is your priority and what is that you actually do? What is that you do right now costing you in the future? Do you know what future pain you are causing yourself? You are choosing your life, you are choosing your future pain or maybe you let someone else decide what would be your pain and suffering in the future. Ok, let’s start from the beginning. Self-control or self-regulation is one of the leadership skills to build and master. If you want to be successful in your business, or create amazing relationships and friendships you must master self-control. Self-control is the ability to regulate and alter your responses in order to avoid negative behaviours or increase some positive and resourceful behaviours to achieve long-term goals. Research has shown that possessing self-control can be important for health and well-being. A person who has self-control doesn't get distracted easily. This enables them to manage their time and resources better. They tend to make sustained efforts toward their goals, which are more likely to result in success. Ep 3735. Episode - Leadership - How our thinking creates our reality - Beliefs
If you know me, you know what I usually talk about. If you attended my workshops and trainings, you know I always start with the topic “How our thinking creates our reality” I believe this is the most important fact, to be able to change ourselves and create better results than we have created by now. I can't highlight enough the importance of our thoughts and our thinking patterns. If we want to change we must change our thinking. Our thinking is neutral and our thoughts are neutral. We decide to add energy or/and value to them. We decide to assign truth to them. And after that, our thoughts become our beliefs. Beliefs create a cognitive lens through which we interpret events and the world. You write the story of what you think is likely and possible based on what you believe is true and then you take actions and make choices consistent with those expectations. When you act on what you expect will happen before it actually happens, you participate in creating the experience and your reality. Based on your thoughts, you create beliefs and stories. Based on stories you are telling yourself you create emotions. Your thoughts directly impact your emotions. Emotions have a massive influence on your choices and decisions and therefore RESULTS. EMOTION = MOTION It all starts in your head. You are participating in creating your reality whether you know it or not. There is nothing magical, weird or woo-woo about it. It is simply the way our brains operate. When you deny, reject, or are unaware of this, then you have very little power over your life and results. You will feel like the victim of your life, we call it “at effect.” But with awareness comes choice. You can choose what beliefs serve you and what beliefs do not. You can choose what will help you to move forward and what will make you feel good and inspired. When you start to understand the process and make it work for you, now you are empowered to be in charge of the life you create. Ep 3634.Episode - Small Business planning and Goal setting
To make performance and goal setting discussions as productive as possible you should reflect on relevant data and issues for discussion. You need to evaluate and understand what didn't work past 12, 6 or 3 months. Based on the evaluation you can make a decision about what distractions were stopping you, what habits were not serving you, what strategies didn't move you forward and what was keeping you stuck. Make a list of top 20 achievements and progression points for the last year. Now, make a list of the top 5 to 10 strategies that worked and that didn't work or didn't bring you any progress. When I am talking about strategies that need to be evaluated are the strategies that should bring you revenue - sales, marketing, any business development strategies, offline and online marketing, lead gen strategy you use. Maybe some of those are distractions, some of those can be delegated, some of those you keep doing just because you did it in the past. It may be useful to consider covering some additional issues, such as your motivations, personal vision, values, attitudes, habits and beliefs. If you would like to ask questions or share your plan please email me at [email protected] and download your goal setting blueprint below: https://thementoringeffect.hubspotpagebuilder.com/blueprint-for-goal-setting Alex Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 3533. Episode - Business - Evaluation of the year
Hi everyone, I hope you are having great fun and an amazing end of the year. I thought a little reminder about evaluation would be pretty useful at this time of the year. As I mentioned in my podcast, I am evaluating daily, weekly, monthly and annually. Why is that? I want to be sure I am on top of things and prepared to change strategies if they are not working. Imagine you evaluate only once or twice a year? How long you will do the same thing again and again and not even realise that doesn't work the way you want. Ahh, I hear you. Did you say it's waste of time? Or you don't think you need it? Well, if you've already achieved your biggest financial goals without evaluation and planning, congratulations. If you still are on the way to achieving your massive results, think about that this way. "In order to get different results, you have to do things differently" Evaluate and plan. Ask yourself: 1. What are my top 10 achievements in the past few months? 2. What would I want to experience in my life if money is not limited? 3. How did I grow in the past 12 months? 4. What values I've been demonstrating on daily basis? 5. What values do I need to demonstrate in order to achieve what I want? 6. Did I achieve the annual goals? 7. What went well? What worked well? 8. What didn't? Revisit all your strategies in a few categories like sales, marketing, prospecting, delivery or other categories such as health, finance, fun, relationships, hobbies, personal growth etc. For the goal-setting blueprint go to: https://thementoringeffect.hubspotpagebuilder.com/blueprint-for-goal-setting or contact me for a free session at [email protected] Alex Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 3331. Episode - High-Performance - Interview with Oliver Wood, Founder of the Meta Project
Welcome to my new episode of the Airborne Entrepreneur Podcast. Interview with Oliver Wood, Founder of the Meta Project from New Zealand. As the Founder of The Meta Project, Olly Wood is known for his ability to see the big picture. Rather than simply encouraging high-performers to do more and work harder, Olly has worked with world-leading experts in exercise, nutrition, biochemistry, and coaching, such as Brian Walsh, The Poliquin Group, Kassem Hanson, Ben Pukulski, Linh Trinh, and Cliff Harvey, among others, to develop a more holistic, scientific, and sustainable approach to health and performance. Olly came from a small town in NZ and was brought up on homegrown real food. As he grew up and saw how the food industry changed, he realised how many issues were brought back to the lack of nutritional focus and how much food alone can rebuild the body and health. Olly got his start in the trenches of the health world as a PT in a big box gym. After 7 years of working with primarily high-performing business owners, he saw the extent to which stress, inflammation, and a lack of focus on recovery was ruining any progress they were making. Olly refocuses his Peak Performers on the power of nutrition alongside his team of experts in areas of mental health, nutrition, biochemistry & training with a guiding philosophy that you can only push as hard as you recover. Olly's goal is to help professionals in the pursuit of growth and improvement, to make sure they don’t leave their bodies and energy behind, and this framework can change the way people fuel and nourish their bodies for good. Enjoy our conversation and feel free to ask questions or contact us directly here: GET IN TOUCH WITH OLLY WOOD @themetaproject.co [email protected] Enjoy :-) Alex [email protected] Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 2826. Episode - Airborne Entrepreneur - Interview with Alicia Ann Wade
I've met Alicia at The Coaching Institute where we have studied together and I also had a chance to work alongside her. Her background includes 20 years in childhood education working with multi-million dollar businesses. She worked her way up to operations so she understands structures, goal setting, and benchmarks. Most valuable of all, she understands people. Aside from business, fitness, and coaching qualifications, she is a former educator of the year with skills in action taking, finishing what she starts, and being a non-judgemental leader. Her clients are often high achievers who are at burnout. She teaches them to slow down with self-care and habits before they speed up again. She is mad about community and charity work, running, and new experiences. Her words: "If you work with me, you need to bring what transformed my life—consistency. I’ll tell you what I tell partners and friends: Be ready for some fun and keep up with me." Ep 2523.Episode - Thoughts - how to overcome fears or how thoughts are creating our reality
Airborne Entrepreneur Podcast - Your Thought and how to overcome fear using your thoughts and senses. Are you coming from fear, anger, frustration or are you at ease, coming from love, compassion and acceptance? Those two are massively influencing our decisions, choices and results. Those two - ease or resistance are having a major impact on our happiness, relationships, work and life. My biggest passion is human thinking and behaviour. I am studying how our thinking is creating our feeling and our behaviour. How we can act and feel and be absolute intelligent or how we can come from brain capacity where we don't act really smart. How we can learn to respond instead of reacting. There are a few tips I will share over a few episodes. I am not able to fit it all in. Also, there are things that will resonate and they are things that's not you. I would love to share something small for everyone. Stay tuned. Ep 2220. Episode - Interview with Aaron: "What's it like to work for a Rothschild bank."
Airborne Entrepreneur Podcast - Interview with Aaron: "What's it like to work for a Rothschild bank." We are all building our businesses and teams and driving them to achieve numbers and results. Sometimes we forget what is most important and that is the environment we are creating and quality of attitudes we are able to bring to daily conversations, negotiation or work. Even Rothschild firm is built on the highest priorities like high-quality leaders, high-performance values, attitudes, standards, reputation and vision that creates a very high performing environment and healthy culture. Aaron's team is driven by trust, friendships and teamwork. There is more pressure on the quality of relationships, trust and knowledge than financial results. What I mean by that, the financial results is of course important but it is not measured on a weekly or monthly basis because they are aware that the negotiation can take sometimes more than 18 months. Why don't follow and model this structure? Why don't set up your company culture as a high performing culture as the first step to a sustainable and profitable business? Remember: "A Brand for a company is like a reputation for a person. It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad to lose it" I always help firms to see this element and implement a critical alignment model as a base and foundation for a successful business. Ep 2119. Episode - Critical Alignment Model for High Performance & Leadership Innovation
Critical Alignment Model for High Performance & Leadership Innovation. This framework is the four dimensions of experience we will find in any situation or context. It can be in personal life or business. IT INCLUDES 4 different elements. Environment The qualitative aspects of the situation, including as an example - the vision, the values, the beliefs, the purpose of the context we’re within. Structure The quantitative aspects of the situation, including the benchmarks for success, the divisions of a company or within a team, the product centres, the operations manuals, the checklists, the policies, the procedures, and the lead measures and the lag measures. Implementation What actually occurs, when it occurs, how often it occurs, who does it, when, and how do they demonstrate they’ve done it, what evidence is there it’s done, and who tracks it, how often, and how. People Who is developed, what are they developed in (what areas), what skills do they have, how are those skills assessed and developed, what scope is there to go beyond their current abilities or skills, or often are they mentored, what’s expected of them within the mentoring, whether it’s formal or informal Each of these dimensions has other forces at play, but these are the main areas we would consider when assessing and improving a team, an organisation or any context we find ourselves within.
