Exodus 20:8 Sabbath Day
Exodus 20:13- Don't Kill
This command is pretty self explanatory and might seem to be easy to just skip over since of most of us haven't killed someone. In Matthew 5 Jesus shows us that there is much more to this command that applies to you and me.
Exodus 20:7 Don't Misuse His Name
We can all agree that life works best when we're not murdering each other or stealing from each other. It makes sense why those would be in the top 10 list from God. But what about number 3. Don't misuse His name. He actually attaches a sort of warning with it. He is deadly serious about it. Here's why.
Exodus 20:4-6 No Graven Images
There is a difference between no other gods and no graven images. They sound the same, but they're not. Mutually exclusive yet intertwined in the same way all 10 commandments are. Much like a 10 link chain.
Exodus 20:2 No Other Gods
The first commandment. Judaism and Christianity are the only religions in the world that declare "no other gods". The Israelites had a whole buffet of options of gods to choose from. To this day we have those same options. They might not be carved out of stone or crafted from metal but the spirit of them is alive and infecting us still.
Exodus 20- Introduction To 10 Commandments
we took some time at the outset to find the importance of the 10 commandments. If we're "not under the law" then why would the 10 commandments even matter? What if "the law of God" and "the law of Moses" were two separate issues? we unpack it in detail.
Exodus 17
Exodus 19
Exodus 18
Exodus 16
Understanding the Times
We took a little detour in our study of Exodus. 1 Chronicles 12:32 describes the men of Issachar as men who understood the times that they lived in and that they knew what Israel should do. It's important for us to understand the times that we live in and what we should do about it. We took a little journey through scripture and through time to talk about what we should do considering the times that we now live in.
Exodus 15
Have you ever reached a point where you thought it was going to be a great time of refreshing, deliverance and going to the next level only to find it to be a time of hurt and bitterness? That's exactly what happened to the people of Israel in Exodus 15. There is a word here for you and for me on how to deal with bitterness.
Exodus 14
Our second week of remote Conduit, this one from Medford, OR. Exodus 14 contains a very pertinent and timely message for us today. Simply put... "get moving"
Exodus 13- The Leading of the Lord
This was our first remotely broadcast Conduit. Of course being in North Dakota made it extra special:) In Chapter 13 God is leading the people of Israel with a cloud by day and fire by nite. Psalm 105:39 indicates that the cloud was given as a covering over them. God paints a beautiful picture of how He still leads us today.
Exodus 11-12
God often uses events to paint a picture for us. The Passover is one of the most amazing pictures in the Bible of who Jesus is and what He would do.
Exodus 10- Leave No Hoofs Behind
Egypt is a picture of the world system. Pharoah offered Moses an opportunity to leave if only he would leave behind some stuff. Moses said no.
Exodus 9-
God's sovereignty
Exodus 8
One more night with the frogs? That's what Pharaoh requested, and that's just what he got.
Conduit January 5- Israel
There is a lot going on these days in Israel. I've written about them on my blog at www.darrentyler.com I decided to record some of my thoughts for the podcast.
Episode 30
Moses goes home for the first time in 40 years. Standing in the palace of Pharaoh that Moses himself used to play in as a child. He found his dreams that were buried long ago were resurrected by God.

Exodus 4-
We've fixed our recording quality issues. God calls Moses and Moses feels completely unqualified and unable. Gods first question to Moses was "what's in your hand?" This is the basis for ministry for all of us.

Exodus 2
God loves nobodies. Moses was a somebody in Egypt. He was rich, powerful and educated. At 40 years old it would have made perfect sense for God to launch the exodus at that moment, except that He didn't. He led Moses to the back side of the desert where he would spend the next 40 years becoming a nobody. If you feel like a nobody, like you have no power, no influence, no popularity then you're in great company. If you do feel like you have all those things, God might need you to take a trip to the desert. Even when it seems like God is absent, He is in fact working. Like Israel we might not see it, but just below the surface even right now, God is in fact working. Our deliverer is coming.

Exodus 1
There are so many striking similarities between Jesus and Moses, and for our time that we live in specifically. When Jesus was talking to Moses on the Mount of Tranfiguration (such a spiritual sounding term) it says that they were talking about Jesus "departure" which in the original Greek is exodos. Jesus was bringing about a new exodus, setting up a new kingdom. With everything going on in our world around us, what a great time to start a study on Exodus.

The River Runs Dry- Elijah
This was a teaching I did at The Journey on October 12. It was first planned as something that I was going to share back in August. Due to the death of my mother it I never got to share it. 2 months later I realized that this might not be a "new" Word but it is most definitely a "now" Word. If you're feeling any sort of uneasy feeling, fear, or worry about the current events in our financial markets this teaching is for you.

September 28- Leaving The Cisterns Behind
What does it mean to be a conduit? How did we come up with the name? What is the vision behind it?
