Being buried and being planted can feel strikingly similar. The results however are not.

Today we're joined by Adam & Stephanie Light. As a young couple they lost their little girl Lindsey during childbirth. Struggling to make sense of of what happened, they would soon welcome little Jacob into the world. Then, 10 months later the unthinkable happened. Their baby boy Jacob passed away while at daycare. Their story is one of tragedy & loss, but of victory and overcoming. We invited them to share their story with us.

Fear keeps us from moving forward. Anger makes us go to far. Gratitude is the cure for both.

He refused to numb Himself to what He had to suffer. What are we using to numb ourselves? What forms of myrrh are we accepting.. Mental myrrh, money myrrh, medicinal myrrh, mission myrrh..

Working hard, toiling, having good theology, are all empty without love.

Jesus isn't in the grave, He's alive and He's in control. That's a promise for the people John wrote to, and a promise to me.
