Clay talks with exoneree, Luis Vargas who spent nearly 18 years behind bars for three separate sexual assaults he did not commit in 1998 in Los Angeles. Mr. Vargas was arrested as he was heading to a parenting class, which was voluntary. None of the victims identified Vargas with 100% certainty. He was exonerated in November 2015, but was immediately put into ICE custody although he was legally in the country. He was released from ICE custody on May 16, 2016.
