The police fed Lee to make statements on the crime and his story changed as the investigation moved along. When the police couldn’t charge who they believed committed the crime, they turned on Lee. Mr. Lee was released on March 16, 2023 after his attorney found the main witness who recanted and said the police told her to blame the crime on Lee.
