Show Notes
When we talk about these 'all-time' Aston Villa sides, often of the Premier League era, the same 15-20 names crop up every time. To prevent that, Dan Rolinson and Mat Kendrick attempted to build an Aston Villa XI using players from 11 different nations.
In a draft style format, the pair took turns to make their selections, with the rules that once a player was taken, they couldn't feature in the opposition team. So that's 11 different nationalities, and two totally different XIs - 22 different players.
