In all these things we are more than conquerors.

God is an awesome God, it is amazing that he loves US, a love from before time, that will never be withdrawn, especially in times of hardship.
God sees what is in our hearts, as well as our actions.
When we give, pray and fast God sees into our hearts to our motives. Give, pray and fast for an audience of One, even when in public..
Two cups, Jesus took the bad one leaving the good one for me.
Jesus died as a substitute for me. I now have a clear concious before God, and want to take sin seriously.
Be careful not to do your acts of righteousness in front of men.
God sees our Motives, don't do things that people will notice and think well of us. Do things for God to notice.
What is Jesus doing NOW?
Jesus has completed his task, beating Satan, setting us free from sin. Job Done, he sat down at the right-hand of God, guaranteeing our salvation.
Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
For those who believe and God has chosen Jesus intercedes, guaranteeing our salvation. God Raised Jesus BACK to life, accepting HIS sacrifice for us.
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all.
Jesus, Son of God, handed himself over for me, as a plan gloriously working it self out. Therefore how will he deny me anything I need.
Jesus, the Perfect example.
Jesus is the perfect example for us to follow, we can try and be like him, but that is not enough we NEED the Holy Spirit.
Love your enemy. (part 2)
Love your enemies, as God loved us, even when we where his enemies he sent his son to die for us. Love others as God loved us.
Taking hold of what God has for us
Moses nearly missed out on the massive plans that God had for him. Let's make sure we go after all that God has for us.

Who can be against us? Everyone, but against who God is the world's hate pales into insignificance. God is for us!

God has purpose over us from conception to death, he is always right and loves us. Do we trust him, in the good and bad times?

We do not know what know what we ought to pray.
God knows that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, and though we do not know what to pray for. Jesus left us his Spirit to groan for us.
We who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly...
Having tasted the first fruits of the Spirit, that God has poured out, we are eager for more and groan for things to come.

Un-dealt with anger has big consequences. Get it sorted,,,before you worship.
We are awaiting our heavenly inheritance
Living a life through the Spirit and loving God goes hand in hand with earthly persecution. Our inheritance is in the future.
If any of you lacks wisdom
Encouragement to perservere: we need to ask God for wisdom, which he is in the habit of giving generously.
Religion is not the answer.
Religion says God's love is dependant on what we do. We need to deal with sin, but know that God loves us unconditionally.
What is the evidence that we have the Spirit of God in us.
The Spirit helps us cry "Abba Father", leads us to Jesus, relates with us, and through him we can deal with the misdeeds of the flesh.
Who is pulling your strings, the flesh or the Spirit of God?
Jesus died for our sins, in doing so He has moved us from the realm of the flesh, to the realm of the Spirit. We can't live in both realms.
How do we respond when life does not make sense?
Prophet praying, prophet waiting, prophet rejoicing.
We are in a new Realm, the Old has COMPLETELY gone.
For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin

God knows the perfect answer to all situations, much more than our imperfect suggestions to him.
But Now.... Something has changed, Jesus has given us the power of the Holy Spirit

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Look at the great rewards in heaven since we have been judged worthy to suffer persecution for Jesus.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God
If you are a son of God you will be a peacemaker, you have the same DNA as Jesus.
An illustration from marriage
Jesus died, rose again and we with him so that we can be Married to a Saviour that loves us. Now we are no longer bound to the Law and condemnation.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
If we slip, God brings forgiveness, but we don't rely on that; we draw near to Him and rely on the power the Holy Spirit within us.
A Slave to Righteousness
True freedom is the freedom to enjoy God and become a slave to righteousness and obedience.

Worship Extravagantly
Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever.
Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? BY NO MEANS!
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
There is no Middle Ground
You are either in sin under Adam OR you are justified and made righteous by Jesus, there is no middle ground.
Jesus completely transforms a sinner's life.
God reaches out to us regardless of who we are or whatever we have done - Victim or Villan
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
It is NOT about what WE can do! It is who we are and our heart attitude towards God, and who God is making us into.
