700 years before Jesus was born, Isaiah foretells of his birth that would be a gift of God. He says that He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. These names represent Jesus nature and character. For those who are in Christ, you are in union and can draw upon Jesus as your Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
